Great info and presentation in your vids. I have just finished building toyota 5efte and just got it started on the bench tonight with speeduino!!! Much thanks to your contibutions.
Iam glad to find yours video's.It looks like you know what you are doing .Do you build your own controllers. What if I tell you that I drive a toy truck 3.4 supercharged runs on 87 octane 10 psi boost no knock and respectable power factory ecu no modification to the ecu no piggy back it took me almost a year to do it but i gotten done
Very helpful and easy to understand. Just one question someone may be able to answer, at idle how do I know which cells to change, is it the lower 6 roughly where the idle speed is? My idle is around 950 rpm normally. Thanks
That depends on how the x and y axis (load vs rpm) cells are scaled on your VE and spark table. You never really idle in 1 cell, because the software interpolates the cells, your idle is always generally an average of not just the 1 cell but, the cell to the right or left and the 2 on top or below. So your idle fueling is generally an average of these 4 cells, thats why the numbers around your idle have to be somewhat close with very little change. If you place your cursor over the cells in TS where your car is idling it will show you how much authority that cell has over overall idle. So out of the 4 cells, one may have 50% and the others may have 20, 20, and 10. You can use that to fine tune it even further.
My car doesn't have a idle control valve so it's a careful dance to set the throttle plate so that the car starts up and runs from cold without pushing the gas pedal while simultaneously ensuring the idle RPM isn't too high once fully warmed. I suppose I can probably get it down to about 950-1000 rpm warm but it would idle really low when dead cold. It doesn't bother me that much to change it
Usually your Injector supplier will include the injector data when you buy the injectors. If not it takes a bit of fiddling. I have a video on my channel showing how I do injector dead times
i didn’t understand how and where you can work when idle is dropping and oscillating when you put heater and lights on. i have a pretty good idle, but as soon as i put lights and heater and i stop my car, it almost stalls and chase for rpm target. i am not able to fix that :(
Fantastic man , nobodys spend too much time to explain this
Thanks for the video. I’m a complete beginner at this, I’ve ordered the speeduino and downloaded the TunerStudio. Watching what you do is a big help.
You welcome mate. I am glad you finding them helpful
Keep the videos coming man!! These are helping a big community!!

Did you mean 5sgte? I'm looking ok on doing this
@@migueralliart it's a 1.5L 5efe with 4efte pistons & td04 turbo. =5efte 😁
Great video man
Good intro noises

Awesome video ! Why your idle speed is so high ?

Can a AEM wideband go in the speeduino system?
Yes
sorry im new to all this how do i get my injector data correct lol

if you could use screen recorder,
your video will be golden...
Working on a revamp, stay tuned
What is the vacuum you use?
I do not understand to the question
You probably have to speak slower. Can't understand the accent.
No problem, I will keep that in mind.
dwight. i was about to say you moving to slow.
@@evansgful haha. The accent is definitely a barrier for some folks. I will try to find a happy medium
@@DCWERX I can understand you at 2× playback speed. People just need to learn to listen 😉
