I got into 40k by playing space marines on 360 (years ago) recently picked it back up and wanted to more lore then I found this channel and now I find my self listening to the reading all the time especially at work thanks for the awesome content definitely my favorite 40k channel
After a work accident I have time on my hands and 30 & 40k gets me through the long nights while I lay awake. Thanks BP your voice work is enjoyable and entertaining thank you your a star !😎👍🇬🇧
I remember when I first started playing 40k I started with CSM in 5th edition, and read the story of Constantius, so this story has an oddly soft spot in my heart.
The nonlinear writing style made this story harder to do in audio form than most of the stories you have already done. Slightly longer pauses when switching time periods would have helped a bit, but otherwise a great job.
Was definitely a tougher style writing to listen to. I appreciate the back story but starting at the end then going to the beginning then the middle and finally some end notes. I mean I was waiting for that first fight that was set up in the book to happen and it never did.
As always I enjoy the narration the different voices you put music reading thank you for all the time and energy you put into doing these books in the short story is that I look forward to the next one thank you again and have a good night.
I found your channel....idk....the days are blending together this being day....50 something (?) of quarantine. Anyhoo,I've been listening for what feels like a couple of weeks now. Listened to this while I was making some terrain a couple days ago. Searched my history so I could share it with a buddy of mine that plays Sons of Guilliman. I think he's gonne enjoy it! Thank ABP!
I always have time for A Border Prince... usually the hour or so as im drifting off to sleep. I find it hard to sleep without your dulcet tones flowing into my ear canal
This is great, though I must say that I have been having a lot of trouble following this story with me listening to it in the background while I work on 3d models haha. I think I will need to do a re-listen to understand all the time line skips.
Omg I thought at 1:25 you said Ordos from Frank Herbert's Dune 2000, a PC game. 😆😅🤣 OMG that game had a GREAT ACTOR. I think he went a few minutes without BLINKING, or good editing. I get I think you said the Order, but I was cleaning my chainsaw and had a Dune flashback LOL.
my prince, would you kindly recommend me few tips and tricks on how to kick start a audio book production project? i'm a one person team too and i like to turn my own works or at least parts of them into audio content. i can certainly use some know how tips... thank you...
Ugh. I hate when stories flip around in time. Like once or twice is ok maybe, but they were somersaulting all over here. Interesting story about the path of a Traitor, just difficult to follow. Excellently performed as usual.
The word chitin has always annoyed me. I mean the word chit (As in ticket) is not pronounced kite , and chips are not pronounced kh ips and chess isn't pronounced kh ess are they? So why the hell is chitin pronounced kite in and not chit in? I don't mind someone setting me straight by the way, just an explaination as to why its pronounced like that would ease my annoyance. We have the letter "k" for making that sound you see. Cheers or maybe I should say Kheers? heh
Story was extremely confusing, jumping from one moment to another. I don't think that such stories are good for audio dramas type of story telling/reading.

Baldermort's channel is also warmly recommended, this channel and Baldermort both make excellent narrators.
I agree, this is my favorite 40K channel too.

@@ABorderPrince Yep. Checked. Latin c's are pronounced hard. Caesar is Kaisar. Saturday factfile fact logged into factfile lol.

yeah it wasnt the best choice been trying to avoid ones which dont transfer well since this
