I'm old now but I remember when I was 12-13 I wrote to Adam. I said some things like "your artwork is so good, it should be in a museum" . I think back and laugh ... And I cringe with embarrassment.... But Adam wrote me back and it was so damn nice of him. I don't remember the details but I know he was encouraging me as an young artist. I wish I still had that , I bet it was an AOL email lol.

Theres a guy on instagram who shared a story about meeting Adam Jones. I liked and commented on his awesome photo and he responded back. He went to the VIP experience in 2019. He's confined to a wheelchair. During the group photo he opted out so he wouldn't get in anyone's way. He was so bummed. Right after this tall, longed haired guy walks up and says "hey you want to take a picture". It was Adam Jones. The guy couldn't believe his eyes. Apparently Adam took note. He told me Adam was so nice, so gracious and very sweet to him, his date and his children. The coolest guy ever. I was so touched reading that. This gives me hope that not all rock stars or famous people are pompous, arrogant a**holes.
adam jones is so chill :) i was lucky enough to meet him during a VIP show with my boyfriend in 2017 and he complimented the 10,000 days designed shoes i had on! was so cool being able to talk with him and find out more insight on the hard work he put into tool! if you ever get the chance to attend a VIP show for tool in the future..do it!!!! it will be unforgettable!!
You're one of the most abstract and talented guitarists of our time Adam. Almost ethereal with the sounds you choose to create. Thought envoking walls of sound. Noone else in the world of music that's even similar. Rock on brother.

I don't know the man so I can't say there is an ego. I think what people are referring to is how sweet, kind, humble and nice they found him to be when they encountered him. I've spoken to people who've met Adam Jones and they've all said wonderful things. For someone to be famous and still be a human being is a rare thing. My mother and some of her coworkers met Madonna years ago when she was still relevant and my goodness. Madonna was the nastiest bitch ever. I think this is what the comment section is referring to. Fame can make you a monster if you don't check yourself.
Adam your my INSPIRATION FOR THE MUSIC OF MY HEART AND GREAT LOSS OF MY DAUGHTER IN 2012 I’ve loved Tool since 91!!! And I made it to PORTLAND,MODA SHOW THE end of the fear your I guess ? I was floored by the performance and I was at the back screaming my head off loving the show I paid 200$ per ticket and brought my first born and another TOOL FAN MY SON , yet days later he crushed me by saying that I had ruined the concert for him , because I was dancing and singing and kept getting harassed by the MODA staff and even my hoodie got ripped off while I was dealing with the staff because of my strange craziness I had with you guys jamming anyway it’s broken my heart deeply I love my son and am SAD he felt that way , but he’s just a kid of 29 I’m 52 years old and still in love with TOOL I FEEL SO MUCH THROUGH THE MUSIC YOU AND DANNY &, Justn make me feel,, and I’m not sorry for acting like that I’m crazy for the band it’s because I have grown up to your growing up, I just went and bought an EPIPHONE LesPaul Studio and it’s the same color as your version of the Gibson that you have marked on,and I’m sorry that those thieves had got away with 13 of em , I’d like to bust there melons for the pleasure of a autograph on my cheap copy of your Guitar... anyways continue to bless this immunity for all us Tool fans and give a word if you feel me 🎸🎸👁🎸🎸
