I met Danny a few times. Backstage at a few shows with him and I will tell you, hands down one of the most modest, down to earth musicians you will ever meet!!l he talks to you with just as much interest as he talks to his famous musician buddies.. Danny is one of a kind and a total treasure!

I’ve met him too. My friend asked for a picture with him and Danny cringed and said he doesn’t like doing that, so instead he just hung out with us and talked about king crimson. It was after the king crimson show. I even chilled with Justin at a bar after a show and when they kicked everyone out he said I was with him so we chilled after hours drinking and just talking music and messing around with INTRONAUTS instruments onstage. Adam is cool too.

Danny is one of the most humble and down to earth musicians out there. I've met him a couple times in Portland. He comes to Stumpfest every year as his wife is the one who puts on the festival. He just hangs out and talks to the fans like it's nothing. He's never forgotten his roots and treats his fans with respect. One of the rare famous musicians out there who isn't an egomaniac and is a genuine human being.

What an upgrade! Tool became truly complete only after Justin joined. Tool was a Larva for Opiate and Undertow and then emerged from a chrysalis to become a Power Ranger Megazord of psychedelic metal awesomeness with Aenema (the greatest dark psychedelic album of all time). i'll bet Paul regrets his life choices, quit/fired? then Tool became the greatest rock band of all time..haha oh man. hahaha

Both positions are totally valid... I just personally can’t choose a fav album & even attempts to rank them at all always break down. But Salival definitely cannot be discounted-it is massive in its own right even though it’s not studio. All I fucking want is for them to release more lives from when Maynard still screamed. And now I feel it’s more possible than ever now that they’ve completed their contract and they can keep more/all royalties. I would fucking shit the bed. 🤞

Felt like he even wanted to give credit, for amusing the band, and clearing the flow, but stopped just shy of sounding crazy. I think thats where the line between the two lied, genius and crazy, its both what is said, and what stays behind your eyes

I loved Paul and his sound! The band still has that beautiful Chris Squire Rickenbacker bass! It just sits there. No one uses it any longer. I wish I knew one of these guys just to beg them to sell me that bass! I'd sell as much of my equipment as I had to to give that bass a good home. And I would use it! It wouldn't hang somewhere and only be touched with White gloves. An instrument is made to play. It would be taken care of, but I'd use it also.
Please, anyone who has the bands ear, please talk to them and please ask them to sell me that bass. I don't want it for free. I don't believe in that. We have to work for things that sacred. As a musician, that bass is sacred to me and worth the sacrifice! I'm a humble fan from Tucson Arizona, now Raleigh North Carolina. Please give me a chance if you guys aren't going to use that fine instrument! Thank you!
