For any one struggling with the rotten vale quest go to area 1 and talk to the endemic life researcher marked with a ! On your map. Pick up the bounty she gives you then go to area 13 and the grimalkyne will appear and THEN move to area 15 shown in the video and proceed with the raw meat etcetera. I did this in expedition mode not sure that's important.
Bo Brady try going during an expedition. Talk to her go to 15 walk around the grimalkyne should appear the burrow away. Its possible you missed it so check the cave in 13 anyway.
Final and correct method for Rotten Vale: 1. Complete Odogaron kill main quest. 2. Start Expedition in the Vale. 3. In Area 1, talk to NPC, collect 5 Spiders for her (slightly left of her are a few) 4. Complete her Bounty in Astera. 5. Go back to Expedition in the Vale. 6. Go to Area 13, talk to NPC. 7. Wait for Odogaron to pass by, dragging a Legiana (quicktravel back to camp and return to 13 should also work) 8. Grimalkyne shows up. Follow it by using the scout flies ( to area 15) after talking to NPC. 9. proceed as shown in Gaijins video ;)
I haven't done the wildlife NPC's bounty yet but I still got it. The thing that the video didn't really say is that you have to find the cat in area 15 first before it runs to the other area where you can feed it.
godNmor so it kinda help me Another things to notice search in low rank and if the cat still doesn't show up run through the hole "nest" there are these rotten meat pieces you can go through just walk in a circle that's how I hot the cat to spawn
It's effin' day one and gaijin hunter is already makin' guides. Awesome work! Looking forward to your top 5 GS/LS/CB/etc., mixed sets, and weap. tutorials.
Ok, so I’ve figured out the rotten vale one. In area 6, there’s a spot where you can find a wyvern corpse just as the yellow smoke starts. The first trigger needs that corpse to be a *legiana* corpse. It can randomly be something else, but it needs to be this. What will happen next is an Odogaron will roam the map from his nest (area 13) toward area 6 where the corpse is. Don’t get in his way, and he’ll grab the legiana corpse and bring it back to his nest. If all these triggers align, you can wait in area 13 for Odogaron to bring the corpse back there and he’ll leave. A grimalkyne should show up to get food from the corpse but get spooked by you and leave. You can then go to area 15 where you’ll find him and do the steps to join them.
I can't complain enough about how many times Odogaron simply walked over the Legiana corpse and completely ignored it. Frustrated me to no end, and I restarted the expedition. Eventually got it to work, though.
I was wondering if he actually meant that...im 30 hours in and just now found out about it but im a pirest, trying to stumble across a clue before I go look it up online 😂
Some constructive feedback Gaijin: You didn't max out the other Palico equipment! FYI, the Flashbug Cage is great when you max it out. As you upgrade, it grants the ability for your Palico to place shock traps. In fact at rank 6, I wanted my Palico to place the flashbugs, but it kept on placing a ton of shock traps. It's a great ability and I bet the Wildspire Shield also has some cool stuff you unlock from using it.
mahius19 Oh yeah, the Shield is great! Not only will your Palico almost continuously distract the Monsters, they learn a Bash move, so they can both tank the hits and dish them back out.
Yeah the flashbug cage and shield are definitely the best palico equipment for tough hunts due to their CC properties. I find the healing one the least useful. Sure you get free healing whenever you want but healing is fairly easy in MHW. If you have a good handle on the monster without needing the Palico distract/incapacitate the target then the Orchestra, Plunderblade, and PaliBomb are the way to go.
ICEE1025 bring your plunderblade on the Xeno shivaa fight and see what happens, the entire arena is filled with pierce and bomb pods. When the monster fly to attack you,if you use a bomb or pierce pod will make it fall. Just 2 times but delayed in between.
For the Rotten Vale grimalkynes, you don't need to do any sidequest before them. You only need to wait on the Odogaron nest until it brings a dead Legiana, a felyne will appear and your little bugs will track it.
Thank you so much for this video! I could see the Grimalkyne icon on my map, but for the life of me just couldn't find them! Now i know where they are!! THANK YOU! (hug)
Just wanted to thank you. Every video i went to wanted me to talk to the rotten vale researcher that just would not spawn. So after i watched your video i followed it and BAM all items like a charm. Also thanks to you showing the items received i was able to figure out what i missed. after 160 hours you forget if you have done them XD THANK YOU
Just a quick sidenote The shieldspire causes flinching, and K.O damage if it hits the head You can manually trigger plunderang at level 10 much like vigorwasp which has a seperate cooldown than when your palico does it automatically (effectively doubling the amount of items you can pick up). Higher level of meowlotov unlocks rath of meow which does some really high DPS, it basically turns your cat into a turret for the duration. Your cat will also place a meowlotov cocktail bomb if you start planting barrel bombs. Tailrider unity 3 with the gajalakas also unlock their trap outpost where they start bombarding a monster (you don't even need to mount the monster just bring it there) which also does high DPS and a very long downtime.
With the rotten vale group you don't have to meet with any of the researchers. Just wait for a Legiana corpse to show up in area 6 and then go to area 13. You will see the cat and then go to area 15 with a piece of raw meat. They also don't have to be done in order. I still haven't done the ancient forest one but I just did the plunderers. If you have trouble with the effluvium or the monsters while waiting for the Legiana corpse in area 6 you can go to area 1 and then on the left side there is a path to a cliff that overlooks area 6 that you can stand and wait at.
The flash bang equipment also levels into a shock trap for its variant later, which is as useful as it sounds. I haven't been able to capture a monster with it, not sure if it's cause it vanishes too fast or if it just doesn't work like that, but you can always set up a trap while its trapped, then capture your target!
ROTTEN VALE So, if this helps anyone, I found the legiana corpse on an expedition, but had no luck on the odogaron, I ran around for a while and even picked up some palicoes from a different region, the troupers appeared, and eventually freehunted the odogaron when it left the official areas and had turfwars with radabaan. If retreated back to its lair and the legions corpse was now at that location. That seemed to have triggered the plunderer for me.
For anyone who is reading this, leveling up a tool that your palico gets from the Grimalkynes will not only increase it's effectiveness, but also give them a second way to use the tool that has it's own cooldown. Examples would be: Vigorwasp spray: Palico can both use the spray normally and set a vigorwasp down on the battlefield for the hunter to trigger if they get low on health. Flashfly cage: Palico can also set down thunderbug traps, stunning the monster for a period of time and enabeling capture if their health is low enough. Shield: Palico can jump and attack with the shield doing large amounts of KO damage, the damage also seems to keep the monster's attention longer. Horn: The status effect/blight removal bongos mentioned in the video Plunderblades: The plunderrang mentioned in this video that is a projectile instead of a normal attack I don't have the cocktail yet so I don't know what that one does, but these I've already upgraded. Basically if you feel like any of these tools is very slow at the start and isn't performing well, give it time to get both of these skills, once that happens you'll be swimming in extra effects and will be able to trigger two separate special cat abilities from your radial menu whenever you want at level 10
GH, for your videos that require map locations, like this one, I think it would be really helpful to also show the location on the big map, not just the mini-map. As someone who is still just learning this game, I find it kind of frustrating when you say things like "at this spot on your mini-map," and then I have to spend 10 minutes looking for where that spot might be on my large map because I haven't memorized the entire map yet. I DO love your videos though, and find them to be extremely helpful. Thanks for all your effort.
I'm doing the last Grimalkyne quest. It was confusing to unlock it because the chief ecologist doesn't give the quest after you finish Nergigante quest, so I went on unlock all three camps in the Elder map. Do the girl bounty near your first camp. I don't remember what the quest was about. Then once done you should be able to talk with the chief ecologist and do his quest (as the vid said). To find the doodles, it's going to be scattered in other maps and maybe near where those Shakas gather.
For the Grimalkyne in the rotten vale, make sure you finish the one in Coral first otherwise it wont show up. Go down to where Odogoron sleeps which is close to Camp (11. Talk to the Lynian researcher there and he will say "Odogoron occasionally comes here with Carrion in its mouth". ( A Dead Legania) After talking to him, just Squeeze through the vines in the back and wait. Odogoron will drop off the dead Legania. Search the body then speak to the Lynian Researcher again, and he will confirm the Grimalkynes are still around, and he will tell you to follow the scent to where it is. Hope this helps!!
Its fun watching the gajilakas shell a monster. Even the elder dragons get shelled too but it harder to get that to happen. Its funny cause alot of times its so random when it happens.
I believe each grimalkyne can only be unlocked after you reach a certain Hunter rank. I'm not 100% though, but what I know is that the plunderes only showed for me up after I reached high rank (or finished the second zorah magdoros quest). Again I'm not 100%, hope this helps.
Steven Selinger literally just been scrolling through the comments because the plunderers weren’t appearing for me and they haven’t done a wiki for them yet. If this is true you’ve saved me a lot of wasted time. Thank you sir
Im in high rank and the rotten vale grimaklyne has not appear in 15 for me yet im also hr 11 im not sure wats going on ive talked the research person and completed her bounty.
PSA: If you're having difficulty with the rotten vale quest, there is a specific map trigger that spawns the felynes first. towards the upper right hand side of the map, in the odogarons lair, the lynian researcher will be waiting and talks about waiting for an odogaron to bring some bait. I waited for about 5 minutes and the odogaron dragged a dead legiana through. after the odogaron leaves, a felyne will spawn, and rush of. you can use the scout flies and follow the video from there.
For pc players that still need the rotten vale can confirm you need to see odogaron take the legiana corpse into his cave just spawn in and out until the corpse is at the smoke area wait for odogaron to walk near it attack him he will take it to the cave go out the cave and back in the cat will be inside at the legiana corpse he will run away and the video explains the rest
For the plunder blade. Wait til you have the lynian researcher in rotten vale and then go and talk to him. Then just hide and wait for a bit where he is or run around and come back to the researcher after some minutes. An odogaron will come with an legiana corpse and after that (for me after i looted the corpse) the cat will show up, which you can chase and do the steps described in the video.
azenar 1, they are, coupled with Oroshi Kirin and Black Diablos, the only subspecies present in World so far (there may be more, added with free dlc's)
Joeynator3000 damn so half the monster roster are raths hahahaha. I hope they're diligent with these new monster dlcs. Considering most of em will probably be returning monsters that have already been designed.
For anyone having issues with the Rotten Vale Grimalkyne , here's the specific steps that worked for me: 1. It must be a HIGH RANK expedition 2. Start in camp 1, there will be a researcher in area 1 who asks you to capture 8 spiders. 3. Capture the spiders for her (they can be found around bone piles in the same area) 4. Go back to Astera and cash-in the bounty 5. Return to the Rotten Vale, now in area 13 will be a Lynian Researcher - He will speak to you about odogaron carrying a corpse here 6. Wait until the corpse gets dragged in, one of the felynes will appear 7. Run up to it, it will burrow away 8. Go to area 15 and place the raw meat Hope this works for anyone having issues
I took today (Monday) off for the same reason. Monday since I ordered the physical version of the game, it didn't arrive till midday Friday (that would have been a morning wasted had I booked Friday off).
To get the plunderblade, certain requirements must be met: Single player expedition only You must have advanced the story to unlock the depths of rotten vale There must be an Odogaron spawned A Legiana corpse has to spawn in area 6. Periodically dead wyvern corpses will fall to this location, sometimes it’s a Legiana.
I saw azure Rathalos....... so that means subspecies are back. Which means......... these free updates are gonna be crucial. If they add as much content as they have been doing for the past years on the 3ds games for free then I can anticipate that in a year there will be over 10 new monsters and subspecies as well as DLC quest with cool armor and weapons. I just hope they dont lock G-Rank behind a season pass later on..... but if they do atleast make it worth buying it.
I just want to share something about how these Felynes, Palicos, Grimalkynes and Melynxes became the bipedal, sentient cat creatures they are today. My theories are that these Felyne creatures may have been in the real world before humans were and have somehow evolved from their quadrupedal feline ancestors into sapient bipedal cats. Or Felynes may have somehow and still contain a percentage of human DNA 🧬 in their bodies which could explain their minds and emotions become sentient to the point where they are intelligent enough to build huts, cook meals, farm etc. and the remarkable thing about these Felynes is that unlike normal cats that live in our world, Felynes are docile and loyal and therefore respond to verbal commands although they can still be aggressive and will attack you with anything in their paws when attacked themselves. As they possibly somehow evolve, they become bipedal and sapient though as we all know they are still not without quadrupedal qualities and they can still run and leap on all four legs. Also they are also not without their ability to dig quickly within a matter of seconds which is something normal four-legged cats can’t do. Even their diet has evolved from carnivorous to omnivorous and can eat the same foods as humans can. Also their fur pattern with paw prints on their fur may have evolved as well.
I repeatedly go to these cats on the minimap and they are supposed to teach your Palico new things like how to talk to the monsters, but it never does.
Because it's not some thing they do randomly. You complete these sidequest in the video. Each item your palico gets, also teaches it to tame certain small monsters.
Thats what triggered the rotten vale kittens? I didnt even know. XD I just tried to get a moonlit gekko and the cat just showed up and the quest started.
I've completed the main story, am hunter rank 37 and got all camps and all other Palico gadgets but for some reason am not being given the quest for 10 gajalaka doodles by the lynian researcher?
You’re the reason why I got to a very high Hr and 400+ hours on mh4u. I watched all the bow/lg/hg vids. But now in Mhw I just can’t seem to get in to the range weapons that much :( any chance a turorial happening soon?
After the new update today I can't turn In the corals highlands grimalkyne quest, after I kill the 2 tzizi yaks, I go back to their camp and the felyne don't say anything, and the animation don't get triggered
Hmm, there is no cat in the Votten Vale . D: The only hungry thing down there was me. Do you have to do something special to make it appear? I already cleared the Forest, Waste and Highlands. UPDATE: I've read the UPDATE... ^^" Thanks for this video. :)
Tim Yang I figured it out. You have to go to area 13 and you’ll run into the grymalkine. He’ll run away back to the place that Gaijin shows and that’s when you go back and place the meat.
Gaijin i just platinum'd the game literally 2 days ago and the moment i saw your issun i got flashbacks! And for a split second i thought i saw him as green and sitting on top of your hunters head lol. Anyway happy hunting and please keep making awesome tutorials like you always do.
Nobody really knows anything about the PC version of the game because it doesn't have a solid release date yet - at least a few months from now. I'm sure he'll talk about the PC version when he has a chance, though.
HonageMaximus thank you so much your the only souce of info ive found on this very topic.
I did the bounty but the grimalkyne dose not show in 15...ideas?
Bo Brady try going during an expedition. Talk to her go to 15 walk around the grimalkyne should appear the burrow away. Its possible you missed it so check the cave in 13 anyway.
HonageMaximus I don't have this person in area 1?
So o have to get the palicos in order of area?
1:43 Ancient Forest - Bugtrappers
3:45 Wildspire Waste - Protectors
5:10 Coral Highlands - Troupers
6:50 Rotten Vale - Plunderers
thanks for putting all this together
Final and correct method for Rotten Vale:
1. Complete Odogaron kill main quest.
2. Start Expedition in the Vale.
3. In Area 1, talk to NPC, collect 5 Spiders for her (slightly left of her are a few)
4. Complete her Bounty in Astera.
5. Go back to Expedition in the Vale.
6. Go to Area 13, talk to NPC.
7. Wait for Odogaron to pass by, dragging a Legiana (quicktravel back to camp and return to 13 should also work)
Appreciate the extra info. Finally got the gadget
Fishin4pigeon area 15 is where u feed it tho
godNmor so it kinda help me
Another things to notice search in low rank and if the cat still doesn't show up run through the hole "nest" there are these rotten meat pieces you can go through just walk in a circle that's how I hot the cat to spawn
godNmor when do we get the odogaran quest? I'm at right now I'm looking for Nergigante at Elder recess.
When they teach your palico to speak girros its hella useful. The small girros can paralyze the monster a couple times before its death.
But... Guildmarm is the only one allowed to investigate Doodles
generalthl right
Love this comment

Ooh u bring back some memories...
>Game comes out tomorrow.
>Already has blue sharpness weapons.
Well then.
Zemnexis he said on Twitter he had a weeks playtime so he’s had the game for a while now.
review copies
Thank you Gaijin! The wait is painful and you’re coming in Clutch, so the wait isn’t as painful
Commander Swagvala Going to get an early release copy tonight
It's effin' day one and gaijin hunter is already makin' guides. Awesome work! Looking forward to your top 5 GS/LS/CB/etc., mixed sets, and weap. tutorials.
Ok, so I’ve figured out the rotten vale one.

Thank you very much! This worked for me, first try!
Thank you, you’re the real MVP
Thank you
Low rank or high rank exposition ?
I can't complain enough about how many times Odogaron simply walked over the Legiana corpse and completely ignored it. Frustrated me to no end, and I restarted the expedition. Eventually got it to work, though.
Actually, you can do the first grimalkyne immediately! I did it while going to set up the first camp!

1:56 I see MH World has a very big.... story.
Thank you, this exactly what I was looking for. It was so useful in the beta, I need it again!
Thank you so much for clearing this up, I only found two grimalkyne camps up until now.
and both that single grimalkyne, and its friends, will COME OVERRRR AND EEENNNJOOOOYYYYY THE MEAAAAT 7:30
geez man that's cool, thanks! I'll have to watch that video several times to remember all that stuff!
Yay! Thanks for this, I'm even more hype to start grinding. Knowing it'll be a bit easier puts my mind at ease. :3
With the rotten vale group you don't have to meet with any of the researchers. Just wait for a Legiana corpse to show up in area 6 and then go to area 13. What is the name and tree of that Kinsect Blade you are using? I need this in my life.
Laymen Gaming looks like diablos
probably end tree diablos with id guess the balanced bug, since in the passed it has been the best one to get
oh dayum, its Laymen Gaming, Love your Vids!
from the design i'd guess it's the Diablos line
Laymen Gaming LAYMEN GAMING!!! AHHHHH hey SkillUp when do you think you'll get your review out?
i am SO looking forward to all your glorious world videos :D
Bought MHW a few days ago, thank you for your vids, they help a lot :)
Thanks for making such videos!! I do appreciate it. :)
Meowsic to my ears.
Oh my God the little dance they do with the buff horn item is adorable.
Great video, I had no idea I could make my Palico even more useful!
Almost makes up for not being able to be a prowler again. Great stuff Gaijin
The FlashFly gadget is great, At a certain it morphs and your palico can even drop Shock Traps. Super helpful
I didn't even know this was a thing :O Thankyou so much!
that plunderblade looks like the dual blades from nargacuga
The flash bang equipment also levels into a shock trap for its variant later, which is as useful as it sounds. I haven't been able to capture a monster with it, not sure if it's cause it vanishes too fast or if it just doesn't work like that, but you can always set up a trap while its trapped, then capture your target!
Still the one of the best monster hunter UA-camr ever keep up the good work man
ROTTEN VALE
So, if this helps anyone, I found the legiana corpse on an expedition, but had no luck on the odogaron, I ran around for a while and even picked up some palicoes from a different region, the troupers appeared, and eventually freehunted the odogaron when it left the official areas and had turfwars with radabaan. Grimalkyne are amazing!!! I'll be grinding their quest line for sure!
great vid. I look forward to doing these.
For anyone who is reading this, leveling up a tool that your palico gets from the Grimalkynes will not only increase it's effectiveness, but also give them a second way to use the tool that has it's own cooldown. Examples would be:

Shield: Palico can jump and attack with the shield doing large amounts of KO damage, the damage also seems to keep the monster's attention longer.
Horn: The status effect/blight removal bongos mentioned in the video
Plunderblades: The plunderrang mentioned in this video that is a projectile instead of a normal attack
I don't have the cocktail yet so I don't know what that one does, but these I've already upgraded. Basically if you feel like any of these tools is very slow at the start and isn't performing well, give it time to get both of these skills, once that happens you'll be swimming in extra effects and will be able to trigger two separate special cat abilities from your radial menu whenever you want at level 10
The Meowlotov Cocktail's secondary thing basically makes it into a single-shot grenade launcher, from what I've heard.
No they aren't. Their doodles can also be found in ancient forest, wildfire and coral highland.
ua-cam.com/video/lH5Z3i6ayIM/v-deo.html
For their doodles location. It can be found in rotten vale as well
Oh man, that Palico Teostra set. I NEED that!

Max Miller thanks bro this dude just explaining but he ain’t “explaining” 😂😂
For pc players that still need the rotten vale can confirm you need to see odogaron take the legiana corpse into his cave just spawn in and out until the corpse is at the smoke area wait for odogaron to walk near it attack him he will take it to the cave go out the cave and back in the cat will be inside at the legiana corpse he will run away and the video explains the rest
The fertalife wiki has been updated with more info if anyone is still having trouble finding them.
Any one else notice it says azure rathalos listed in the monsters at 8:37
derpaderp derp Azure and pink Rath are in the game
Violent Brains I thought there weren't any subspecies in this game?
azenar 1, they are, coupled with Oroshi Kirin and Black Diablos, the only subspecies present in World so far (there may be more, added with free dlc's)
Pretty sure Gold and Silver are in as well.
Joeynator3000 damn so half the monster roster are raths hahahaha. I hope they're diligent with these new monster dlcs. Considering most of em will probably be returning monsters that have already been designed.
For anyone having issues with the Rotten Vale Grimalkyne , here's the specific steps that worked for me:
1. It must be a HIGH RANK expedition
2. Start in camp 1, there will be a researcher in area 1 who asks you to capture 8 spiders.
3. Capture the spiders for her (they can be found around bone piles in the same area)
4. Go back to Astera and cash-in the bounty
5. Return to the Rotten Vale, now in area 13 will be a Lynian Researcher - He will speak to you about odogaron carrying a corpse here
6. Wait until the corpse gets dragged in, one of the felynes will appear
7. Run up to it, it will burrow away
8. Go to area 15 and place the raw meat
Hope this works for anyone having issues
Doesn't have to be high rank, there's a reddit post that explains exactly how to do it
Brit It doesn’t need to be high rank
Exactly what I did and it worked lol
Took Friday off, gonna go for an all nighter...
Smash_Senpai me too! Happy hunting, enjoy the cades!
BrodeurBear awesome and you too!
Smash_Senpai taking off saturday
I took today (Monday) off for the same reason. Monday since I ordered the physical version of the game, it didn't arrive till midday Friday (that would have been a morning wasted had I booked Friday off).
For rotten vale you got to go to odoberons (cant remeber its name venom wolverine wolf thing) nest down at the bottom before going to the cave
8:25 Subspecies confirmed
Thank you for this guide man.
so helpful!!! thanks gaijin!
gahd, im loving the horns from the troupers, buff is consistent even at level 5.
You can find all 5 Scavantula in area 5 of the rotten vale next to the fossil.
I followed all these steps and in the rotten vale there is no cat that runs off.
To get the plunderblade, certain requirements must be met:
Single player expedition only
You must have advanced the story to unlock the depths of rotten vale
There must be an Odogaron spawned
A Legiana corpse has to spawn in area 6. Periodically dead wyvern corpses will fall to this location, sometimes it’s a Legiana.
Watch mittens is gonna mess this up like he always does.
My palico stole a wyvern gem the first time I used plunderblade. Very useful indeed
Havent maxed out the others but if you get good proficiency with the bugtrappers your palico gets the ability to lay down shock traps on command
Thanks for the useful info!
The plunder blade looks just like the duel blades you could make form nargacuga
The palico at 1:45 looks fabolous
Also their fur pattern with paw prints on their fur may have evolved as well.
wowza you getting through it quick XD just reached volcano guy
I repeatedly go to these cats on the minimap and they are supposed to teach your Palico new things like how to talk to the monsters, but it never does.
Because it's not some thing they do randomly. You complete these sidequest in the video. Each item your palico gets, also teaches it to tame certain small monsters.
Once you complete their quest, your Palico will be able to tame the monsters automatically.
I like how your palico is called issun Real cute
All these abilities are so good I can't decide which is the most overpowered!
SuperfluousMoniker the mini hunting horn
SuperfluousMoniker Plunderblade for farming parts, Coral Orchestra for everything else.
Thats what triggered the rotten vale kittens? I didnt even know. XD I just tried to get a moonlit gekko and the cat just showed up and the quest started.
I wish you'd pulled your map up and placed a marker or something, so that I didn't have to try and figure out where you are via mini map puzzle piece.
Anyone else get flashbacks to Dark Souls when he was in the crystal cave at the end?
TheDexecutioner Was thinking the same. Can't wait for the remake in May.
Luke Saleh Soon we can suffer in high resolution. My body is ready.
TheDexecutioner hope there are not any invisible bridges in that area or I will have the worst ptsd symptoms.
Can you give the wildspire waste cats drugged or paralyze meat?
the last grimalkyne wasnt there for me.
This really helped me out so would you make a video on how to get all mantles because I really need the rocksteady mantle
I've completed the main story, am hunter rank 37 and got all camps and all other Palico gadgets but for some reason am not being given the quest for 10 gajalaka doodles by the lynian researcher?
i prefer the lightning bug trap, at higher levels it becomes a real trap your palico places quite often during the hunt
Tailriders are incredibly helpful (spoilers) in the rotten vale. girros can paralyze any large monster.
The cat on the rotten vale is not appearing, help pls :(
When gathering doodles in ancient forest they don't add up (there's no bar under them) like normal tracking. why?
You’re the reason why I got to a very high Hr and 400+ hours on mh4u. I watched all the bow/lg/hg vids. But now in Mhw I just can’t seem to get in to the range weapons that much :( any chance a turorial happening soon?
After the new update today I can't turn In the corals highlands grimalkyne quest, after I kill the 2 tzizi yaks, I go back to their camp and the felyne don't say anything, and the animation don't get triggered
Could you do a video on where to find 10 gajalaka doodles? I'm having a hard time with that...(For the last tribe one)
Your guide is wrong about the troopers. You have to complete a certain quest before they even show up.
!!What Azure Rathalos is back!?..... 8:23 OH GOD!!
I hope in a King Gajalaka for the future...
I can't get the grimalkyn in the rotten vale
I found the Location but There is nothing
Meliodas182 same idk what to do
same here. : /
Same here too
I can't get across the gap with the vines in the Ancient Forest one and I feel like a huge noob :(
Wish we could play as prowlers again. Still loving the game but it is would be so fun to play as a feline again like in generations.
Hmm, there is no cat in the Votten Vale . D:
The only hungry thing down there was me.
Do you have to do something special to make it appear?
I already cleared the Forest, Waste and Highlands.
UPDATE: I've read the UPDATE... ^^"
Thanks for this video. :)
I can’t trigger the Rotten Vale Grimalkyne event, any tips? I have talked to the researcher at Odogaron’s nest.
Tim Yang I’m looking for this answer too. It doesn’t even let me place raw meat
Tim Yang I figured it out. You have to go to area 13 and you’ll run into the grymalkine. He’ll run away back to the place that Gaijin shows and that’s when you go back and place the meat.
TorrisATL2 Thank you so much I've been stressing over this for two days straight. Lifesaver.
Yea, the grimalkyne's not showing up in 13 or 15 for me. Do you have to get past a certain point?
Morokt Did you talk to the Lynian guy?
Is Issun like THE Issun that traveled together with Ammy for the brush techniques?
Yep!
Gaijin i just platinum'd the game literally 2 days ago and the moment i saw your issun i got flashbacks! And for a split second i thought i saw him as green and sitting on top of your hunters head lol.
Anyway happy hunting and please keep making awesome tutorials like you always do.
Gaijin, do you need to do the previous grimalkyne quests to unlock the next one?
I can't trigger the last Grimalkyne in the Rotten valley. I'm just about to speak to the first Wyverian.
Oh my god they're so cuuuuuute
Would you make a video about the pc version? (Console comparison, system requirement, etc)
Nobody really knows anything about the PC version of the game because it doesn't have a solid release date yet - at least a few months from now. I'm sure he'll talk about the PC version when he has a chance, though.
