- After installing the Star Racing 30/30 Cam in my FXLRST Low Rider ST I had the bike tunes at TCC Torque Custom Cycles using a Power Vision Tuner on A DynoJet Dyno. It's like riding a new bike after the upgrade! The bike is fast , very responsive and the exhaust sounds like a roaring beast !

Torque Custom Cycles should really do some advertising. I live in Bergen County, 15 minutes away from Hackensack and never heard of this shop until the algorithm showed me your channel 👍🏻

Taking my 17 CVO Ultra with a 114 in this weekend to have the 30 30 cam installed and tuned. Can't wait to hear and FEEL the difference. Hopefully my tuner guy here in NC is a good one. The bike sounds great!

My 2023 lowrider st with star 3030 dyno at 121hp and 133tq with just 55mm aluminum intake and 5.5 injectors... I love my 3030 cam. I have a freight train lol

For those out there thinking about getting the new PV4 (powervision 4), DONT! Buy the Powervision pv-1b, 2b or 3b, WAY better tuner!! Great video!!!
He tuned the bike very well. Got the AFR spot on. I knew you would gain and not have the big dips like it came in on the canned tune.

Some people may say these figures are a bit on the low side, but honestly I think the tuner who helped you is simply one of those with a correctly calibrated equipment and honestly
The figures you got are great especially if the curves have ”good” lines
If you would have got 128/137 or something like that, im 100% certain the figures would be incorrect for one reason or an other.
(High Numbers is a sales argument…)

This is my favorite low rider right now. The sound after tuning also sounds more in sync.
This wasn't another excellent and informative video. It's amazing to see the amount of detail that goes into tuning a motorcycle. I should correct myself into tuning a performance motor. I can also see that I don't think anybody has to worry about voiding their warranty. From Harley Davidson. I think these motors, tuned by professional are better and more reliable than anything.

Sandy, great video, and love your final build. How have the modifications affected your fuel economy? My concern is that you'll need fuels much more frequently than your riding companions will. Please let me know how much your fuel economy dropped.

I used to have a straight piped sportster and I worked at a school site and the kids would hear me coming from a mile away and they would ALWAYS be at the gate lined up to wave at me.

Like I said in the past videos you need the throttlebody injectors to push past where you are into the 120s on one 30s it wasn’t a prediction it was a spoiler
Dont need TB, stock throttle bodies will support big bore kits doing 150hp. Injectors 100% though, stock injectors are the same that come on a stock 103 motor.
m8 107, 114 & 117 injectors are 4.38gm/s twin cam 103 3.91 gm/s, I did the woods 22xe cam 5.5gm/s injectors se 55mm manifold, the bike pulled 123.3hp at 5600rpm and 136 ft/lbs of torque. very happy
@@geoffowens3823 twin cams run 4.3gps on on TBW bikes(08 - 17) and 3.9 on cable throttle bikes
yes std twin cam throttle by wire 4.35gm/s and m8 4.38gm/s. I'm no expert though but was told the m8 won't fit the twin cam either, anyways hello from New Zealand
@@geoffowens3823 Yeah I believe it. I think we can all agree stock injectors arent up to the job for a hot M8 motor when you're pushing 115-130hp. How you rating your 22xe? Im just about to the do the APE CR485 and support mods to mine, keen as.

Sandy.....did he giv eyou a graph of before and after so we can see the midrange gains....thats where you actually feel the difference....2500-4000 is where you wanna see the big jump in HP and TQ...I know mine was completely different after tuning... :D. Love the bike man....great choices and I am sure its a BLAST now!!

Finding neutral. I like being in second and just a tap_ and hit it.. it’s smoother.. less distracting if something else is happening at intersection .. or wherever you need to stop.. it’s just a more perfect transition…imo

Sandy, great build! BTW on my bike, I can never find neutral by downshifting from 2nd - I can only hit "N" upshifting from 1st.
I do both - and find it easier when I coast just before I stop

This is because they are correct.
All other specifications from other dyno tunings are exaggerated and can not be achieved by a camshaft and exhaust alone.
The question is really only, are these the values at the rear wheel or at the clutch?
At the rear wheel these values would be fantastic, since 20 hp more than stock
I need to ask Mike if the Dyno records the drum = wheel or if it records information that comes directly from the engine.

No he didn’t. Maybe that could change the final numbers but … it’s very powerful as it is now so..
I installed a 2 into 1 Cobra El Diablo exhaust on my 2022 Low Rider S, do I need to install a tuner and or can I ride it just like that
Bro if you went from a 2 into 2 into a 2 into 1 you ABSOLUTELY show tune it ASAP. Go with the PV3A

People keep telling me the ST comes bone stock with the screaming eagle torque cam, which is why it gives good dyno numbers off the bat, is that true ?

so i assume you kept the stock valve springs?. how's the cam been since you installed i 10months ago?.
Couldn't you just ride the bike in the auto tune mode and then refresh the ecm. Over and over until you get it dialed in? Same thing right?😮
I am sure you could but image how long it would take to hit every rpm at every throttle position for 20 to 50 hits per box. We also use load control on the dyno which wasn’t in the video. We can hold the bike at a specific rpm at any throttle position to achieve our goal.

Hey man I've got a question for ya. Do you still have the stock throttle body/manifold on your bike? I have the same bike with the same exact pipes & I love it. I'm a little bit torn between the 475 & 30/30 cams. Plan on doing the stage 2 sometime in the near future. The reason I ask is because I talked to the guys down at moonshine harley & they're saying that when I do the stage 2 the bike will benefit a lot from going with a big screaming eagle 64mm throttle body paired with a MHP 66mm manifold. Love the vids man. Keep 'em comin.
They are probably right but I still run the stock .. plenty of power

So right now 3030 and 2 into one and tune..nothing else correct? Why are you using the Fuel Moto map? Trying to learn…you do not have a Fuel Moto part on the bike correct?
