The fact that they kept things this experimental and interesting while being THIS HEAVY is insane. This is my favorite album of the decade so far and I honestly don't know if it will be topped. In my opinion, metalcore is entering a new golden age with new albums coming out very frequently that are either fresh, heavy, nostalgic, or a combination of the three. Seeing them in 2 weeks and I'm not ready. It's crazy how much this band has grown on me in the past year.
Update: My bicep is pulled, kneecap is bruised, and I'd do it again. 10/10 performance. Absolutely nuts.

Respect, 9.5/10 for me, but I’ve loved all the singles up until the release so the bar was high but it delivered in my opinion. The Calm That Keeps You Awake rips. Blinding Faith is the wildest ride. Suffocate was unexpected, but tough as nails. Loved the whole project.

Metallica used the St Anger snare in I Disappear, which was a single they made for the Mission Impossible movie, and it actually wasn’t that bad. Maybe it just wasn’t as noticeable.
