Paco de Lucía... MAESTRO DE MAESTROS..✨💫
I was lucky enough to be at one of his concerts. I believe it was the early eighties. My husband had to nudge me to remember me to breath.
I wish I was able to get a chance to see him live in person I bet that was incredible! Some great memories to hold onto, I'm glad you had a wonderful time!
Not only does he use a bunch of complex techniques, but he also uses the guitar as a percussion instrument. He's EL MAESTRO! Thank you so much for the reaction.
It is a pleasure to hear and learn about such a legendary musician!!!
Great channel! I am a guitarist, and I discovered Paco in 1975, I've been trying to wrap my head around his picking style ever since I discovered him. Please listen to Al DiMeola and Paco together on Al DiMeolas' album "Elegant Gypsy" out in 1977. I love that style and have since I was 16 years old and I was hooked! Peace!
Thank you very much! I have been enjoying learning about all of these legendary icons! I only wish I would have known of them sooner, as a guitarist myself I think it would have had a big inspiration on the way I play! Thank you for the suggestion I really appreciate it and I will have to check that out!
I would have loved to have gotten the chance to see him live in person, I bet it was incredible!
The Legend ❤
Paco was the GOAT!!! He could do anything. Just listen to his performance of the classical guitar warhorse Concerto de Aranjuez. For my money his is far superior to anyone else...and that is saying a lot! For classical guitar, check out David Russell...especially his Omni performances of Bach lute suites.
Absolutely!! Thank you for the suggestions I really appreciate it and I will check those out!!!
It is Phrygian mode, the same one used in metal
Amazing guitar player...❤❤❤👍👍👍👍✌✌✌✌🙏🙏🙏🙏
Absolutely!!!
So much going on here! We hear the classic chord progression of bulerias but Paco flows in and out and adding some chords that you won´t find in the traditional flamenco ways. For instance you can take what he does about minute 4,24 in your video. He was always opening new paths for flamenco guitar that the following generations of guitarists woul tread.Genius!
I told you that you would like it... it is simply magic for the eyes and ears. Paco is for music lovers
Absolutely!!! Thank you for suggesting it!!

I always say that nylon flamenco mid east fusion etc is always gonna be beyond extreme in learning. Takes year's and years to play master i love my heavy metal playing but cannot compare flamenco fingerpicking its amazing man love it
Yeah the amount of practice it takes to play like this is intense but its some amazing stuff for sure!!!
Blocked how?
Here you got my intantion....beard...i other pacco videos....nice❤
Your reactions are great! Whenever you want i show around where Paco was born.
Thank you I really appreciate it!
Ole
He's the best .. Great reaction. The two guitarists that join him complete an amazing trio which he toured with quite a bit. This was from a terrific show in Sevilla. You might like to react to the pieces they do together. Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely!!! My pleasure, its honor to learn about such a legendary icon in music!
@@TheKillogicEffect This is a full show of Paco performing with Jose Bandera and Juan Canizares. These two guys are masters in their own right. Really a wonderful show. Enjoy!! ua-cam.com/video/cFY3aTj1JoA/v-deo.html
@@TheKillogicEffect Tried to share the YT link, but I couldn't for some reason. There is a show called 'Solo, Duo, Trio ' with Paco and these two guitarists (Jose Banderas & Juan Canizares ) that's worth checking out. They are masters in their own right Enjoy!
Te recomiendo ver a Raimundo Amador, tocó con B.B.King!
6:34 I made the same face
Totally agree, It's an honour to know there is a music beyond the styles. Check out "Pepe Habichuela y Josemi Carmona Yerbaguena", "Pepe Habichuela - Soleá" or "Dave Holland & Pepe Habichuela., for ex: Live at Jazz Baltica 2010", if you have a chance
Thank you for the suggestions I will check them out!

Paco always did heavy
But at that time they didn't know what to call it... the name didn't exist.

You are welcome it is a pleasure hearing and learning more from such a legendary musician!
Absolutely!!! This is what real magic looks and sounds like!
andalusia is the territory that was ruled by muslims in spain and certain territory of south france between 711 and 1492 and andalusian music still alive today in spain and morocco if you want to understand it better you have to chek nasir chama another great musician he is an irakian luthist still playing some andalusian stuff on arabian luth and the greatest musician ever that lived in that andalusian era was ZIRYAB paco delucia's hero, glad that you made this reaction shout out to you dude from morocco and keep it up
Some pretty amazing stuff for sure! Its easy to see why he is such a legend, you have a lot to be proud of!!! Thank you for the info and suggestions I will check that out!
However, Paco, like all Andalusians, was a Christian, he even recorded Christian music.
Are you drooling? It happened to all of us.

Thank you so much.
Paco de Lucia was a virtuoso in this genre! Not just a technician but he had a great "feel" to his playing. I loved his collaborations with Al Di Meola as well as John McLaughlin. There's a song from Al's album Elegant Gypsy called Mediterranean Sundance that's intoxicating. Here it is: ua-cam.com/video/hhccIfevjCU/v-deo.html
Yeah he is beyond incredible! I'v done a video with all of them together but I want to learn more about them as well! Thank you for the link I will check it out!
