Thank you for appreciating :,-) This video legit was a lot of work. Actually only getting the music from the game without the Effect Sounds. A lot of planning, pre-recording, time measuring, when where how long to record and what certain things to do for the visual recording. Testing a lot with reshade to get that old school resulition and transition into HD upscaled resolution. Perfect colors, getting rid of most visual glitches and artifacts happpening during emulation... Jesus. And I even still have some recordings left from this, what I planned to make a video of... But as always, my work and stress taking so much out of my life force, which is hindering me in doing the next video with the same amount of passion and love, like in this one. Feel free to check out, of course if you only want to, my other horror ambience videos, like from Agony. Another Game, I LOVED to just stay in the different places and listen to the great horror ambiences
You should make like, a hours long version of this. Idk why but i would love working a quiet night shift job while listening to this mix where it get worse the more closer it is to the end of my shift lol
I totally understand your strange request. Sometimes I also like to hear to something dark for hours. This takes a bit more effort in realizing it, because I would of course record the parts on the game again for longer amount, because I am not a fan of looping clips over and over again. Especially audio and also video. It has to be perfect :3 I'll keep this idea in mind and when I find the free time to do, I'll try ;)
@@Zeeeeeek yeah you dont really need to do this because it would be hard asf to do so. I might try doing it myself though when i got a new computer lol
Very true! I was astonished even of the snow, how it realistically falls down with turbulences. Or even the raindrops, how every raindrop creates its own little ripple on that spot, where it landed. Not even modern games today are simulating this precise raindrops.
Heheh, I see you're playing the censored EUR version :D Great job again, you deserve a lot more views ❤️ after all these years, this is so scary af, the slow buildup just contributes to add anxiety for the unknown
Yep, I've got the EU Version from germany. I compared both versions some time ago, and I actually can't tell, if the "censored" version is a downgrade. Or should I say, that the devs did a good job in censoring by adding other good stuff in! Bc. I like those grunting beast creatures in the nightmare and in school too. But the uncensored grey childs are more creepier definately! Oh, I agree... this game is still one of my most favorited horrorgames, if not still the best... E.g. there are those ghost-babys wandering around in the school. They still give me the purest chills to this day, because I only can guess, that they may represent the deceased students from this school :( There is a youtuber showing them: ua-cam.com/video/EPUM1yJWcAU/v-deo.html
@@Zeeeeeek yeah, they're called larva stalkers and there's a version of them that even attacks later in the game - those really gave me creeps xD but the harmless ones are just so cute to me ❤️ there's actually a meaning for them and it has to do with Alessa's feelings being invisible to the others while being still bullied at school - she is "invisible" in the sense that she was isolated by anyone. But this was just later added since originally those ghosts weren't transparent, apparently, but just harmless children walking through the school, so your interpretation definitely makes sense! And is actually creepier, aww :c I'm European too, but back in the PS1 days I got the NA version, so then, when I bought the digital version from the Italian PS store for the PSP, I was kinda shocked to see those creatures you find in the sewers but at the beginning of the game xD they're both creepy indeed!
I use the Pete GL2 Core for Graphics. Your problem must be related to texture filtering. I used in the Graphics settings for filtering: Texture filtering: 6: Extended + smoothed Sprites Hi-Res-textures: 2: Stretched (filtering needed) Gfx card vram: 0 (Autodetext) checked: Use pixel shader for 'PSX texture window' emulation It'll be better, when I post my full settings in the video description :D
Either you call yourself lucky in owning a PS1 and this game and an old ass television with scart connector / can find a cheap used ps1 and used silent hill 1 game / have to spent a lot of money on ebay getting those... or you go deep into the warez zone of the internet and download the game, the ps1 bios (and risking getting also unwanted viruses) and the ePSXe Emulator (at least the emulator isn't illegal ^^)
I don't think you realise how legendary your work is

Thank you :)

That's a lot of detail for one scene...
or for a PS1 game tbh, Team Silent was ahead of its time

@@Speed4Runs I actually prefer the censored version, those "grey children" in the schools never looked scary to me but the EU "Shamblers" did.
NICE this is just what I want it
What emulator settings are you using? The floor at 4:25 looks like squares no matter what settings I use.. (ePSXe)

@@Zeeeeeek Was it the "Pete's OPENGL2 GPU core 2.0.0" or the "Pete's OPENGL2 Driver 2.9"? :D
@@DutchGuyMike Sorry for answering a bit too late.
But I use the "Pete's OpenGL2 GPU core 2.0.0"
tbh I didnt knew, there is a newer version 2.9 :O
video description updated with emulator settings.
I know this sound odd to ask, but is there’s possibility to play it now days?
