I think the "51 required" in the council is just a fixed number to pass any law. The number of members is always 100, so to pass a law you need %50 + 1. When it says 48 members voted in favour of a law, it mean that 52 where against it.
26:15 I believe it's because of the buildings, you have two buildings in the wood extraction district but none in the steel extraction which would explain the increased heat demand and perhap only buildings are affected by lower temperatures
Hey its me again :P super glad its blind playthrough after all and enjoying you playing alot^^ btw cant explain why Iron extraction district doesnt cost any heat :P but the wood extraction demands the heat just cause the sawmill and its that big cause the storm basically everything that demands heat got increased cause the storm lowered temperature by a lot.. so my guess is if you would turn off the sawmill you would fix your heat demand in that district :o (you may already solve it.. if so then ignore this^^)
@@WhatDarrenPlays Hmm.. wish i could check.. :D but we need to wait.. and see :D there were quite a few questionable little things.. like missing road for food ''depot'' that make no sense at all :D hopefuly they patch things up^^
I've been on the fence about FP2 ever since we learned that it would be more people/politics based rather than resources based as in FP1. After watching this beta playthrough I've come to the conclusion that, ironically, this game fails to be as gripping or as compassionate than FP1 is even though FP2 is people/politics based. I just really don't understand the Icebloods. You nailed it in the last episode when you said something like "what are they protesting for when everything is going so good?" Exactly. They don't make sense, which makes them a cult of extremists in my book, which is far too close to the IRL current state of the world for my taste. Just not fun.
Hey darren played ceaser 3 and 4 pharaoh a new Era before those mine favourite these games are of the Roman Era I couldn't find empire in steam but check those games out
A few years ago on Twitch I had a series called Throwback Thursday where I played older games that were acclaimed that I never played. Caesar 3 was one of them, and I liked it a decent amount but it was quite dated. I played it with a HD mod I recall. I'd like just a modern take I suppose. Some games from those streams I really did like though were: Dawn of War 2, Homeworld 1&2 (remastered collection) and Supreme Commander Forged Alliance. Oh and Starcraft 2, hadn't played it before. Those were all still really really great. But yeah, I'm really really hoping Anno does Roman or Greek era, would love it.
Yup! The first game was just "don't freeze to death simulator" and I loved it. But the point of X-punk genres is, like sci-fi in general, to have some commentary on the actual world you are surviving in. I really think they upped everything in this sequel despite how much I enjoyed the first.
All I know is that not having to micromanage medical posts and dealing with everyone getting sick makes this game instantly more fun
micromanage the medical ports was the most fun i had in the game

It’s good that the game is not linear like the previous game. Decisions where to explore and what to expand or research is much better
Cyan - “Sigh-Ann”
And we say it like "Kia-Ann" (at least in Northern Ireland & Scotland... or maybe it's just us lol. Never heard it as Sigh before). :)
@@SnowyNI Are you sure you're talking about the colour and not the spice?
@@Steve_Keen I know, it's very simiar, but thats what we've always called it Kai-Ann, it may be the accent tbh

I’m so sad this is just early access and it’ll end soon. Can’t wait for the full thing
I usually watch series you've already finished, but you got me hooked on this one, I was sad about the poll results
Politically? Best run ive seen so far!
Do u think you’ll do a series when it’s released
Was waiting for the next episode, really looking forward to the full release!
can you play this on easy aswell, just to explore all the places on the map to see whats there within the demo time limit.
Cyan pronounced "Sigh Ann"
16:31 ooooohhhh SHIT ITS COMING LOCK DOWN NOW EVERYONE INSIDE NOW GO GO GO
Coal mine gang for the win
What button do you press to see all district's demands and outputs at the same time?

The sawmill is most of the heat demand, but the wood district itself does still consume some heat as well… which makes it weirder the iron one doesnt!

You could ask ubisoft if they could make an anno game in the Roman Era they listen to requests
Or try rise of greece Zeus and posidon those are old but still good games
The most annoying thing is that there is no descriptive image according to the development in the upgrade tree. As it was in the first game
This is why I'm iching for the full release
I've been waiting for this video
Are you sure you played the first frostpunk? Why would you think the storm just appears?
Oh I played it, and dare I say, I played it well: ua-cam.com/play/PLCmmkwcxcfMhRc8faI58ep1Tvvk4fcX-D.html&si=MCn_LD3EU0zHo9Bt
why don't you use transport hubs its degrees needed workforce
Just haven't seen it actually, must have overlooked it in the idea tree
I mentioned this in the last video. The transport hubs are right from the beginning. They are in the tab next to districts, under Hubs.
the aesthetic is soooo dark.
I thinks this game go less for frost and more for punk part. Becouse punk part it’s more related to class dispute. Like rich and poor.

cyan is pronounced more as caian ig
sighan
too much politics in the game
thats kinda the point of the game
lol it's LITERALLY a politics game.
Big Lib energy, Darren. Yikes.
GLORY TO THE ICEBLOODS!
Centrism prevails!
