I kinda like how it's implied that even after the Great Storm, the weather remained pretty wild with frequent whiteouts for a few years after which explains why the city hasn't expanded until now.
Currently your main problem is going to be the rising squalor, those grinding mines are causing issues. You may want to look into research regarding filtration towers, should help keep that down.
After a couple years watching your content, finally became a member for this playthrough. You're def my favorite content creator. Love your stuff. Keep up the great work :) PS: Anno finale when??? :P
Man, in Darrens City you are not allowed any peace. Even the dead and dying are ripped apart to grease the gears of horrific life in this frozen hell. He is going to turn this into a dystopia, isn't he?
I have already played this scenario 3 times. It allows a maximum of 300 weeks in the preview and in all of my tries I was failing miserably when I reached 300 weeks cap.
You go after coal, oil, and materials which are iron/wood combined. However they might be combined as a currency, the are still seperate in the fact that the tech tree has things to boost wood deposits or iron seperately.
Hard to say from a small slice of the game. Better? Not sure, because its so different. It's no longer a city-builder, its now a real-time 4X game with heavy focus on politics. The frostland / exploration is better, the politics is better, the city building is probably worse. The "strategy" or decision making is deeper... There are more maps, more factions, laws, and seemingly just more content overall (and we havent seen the story yet) but again... hard to say when all is said and done which is "better"

Word on the street is about 50hrs. That's what their survey estimates a full campaign to be.
Are materials "general" now? U dont go after coal, wood and iron anymore?
