I go motorcycle camping occasionally, having seen the blackout carpet on your windows, I thinking about trying on my helmet visor! Should work and no one will know I’m in there!!

nice little camper, opel engines are pretty efficiant on fuel too..
with lpg it makes it almoast free.. i have seen below 8L/100km lpg...

I got a Ford Grand Tourneo and have a single bed setup from Redcote Leisure , yes it cost more than your setup but i am very happy with it , camped out in it twice so far , Tan Hill Lodge for a night and a small car park next to The Peice Hall in Halifax this was after a concert , no one bothered me at all ,partially thanks i think that the vehicle doesnt look like a camper and the window covers provided have a similar effect as yours , looking forward to more trips :)

I am getting a Zafira in 2 weeks and want to remove these seats for camping. The videos on UA-cam for removal of bench seats make it look really hard. Did you follow one or just suss it out as you went along?
We just followed a UA-cam video initially. Now we can have it removed in less than 10 mins. We had to buy a torx socket though as didn't have the correct size.

It doesn't matter what it is or what it cost, it's the adventures you make with it 👍 That's our ethos anyway ☺️

Ford Galaxy it was. Lots of things went wrong all at once so we scrapped it.

Bummer about having to scrap it :( But you can definitely sleep in the Zafira. We spent a week in Wales using it as a base camp.
did the same thing with my vw touran , tried the raised bed but hated it , way better to ditch the second row :) they are individual in my car and clip in so way easier to put in if needed. looks neat with that board in 👍

We saw you there - we were passing through, checking on our group of Duke of Edinburgh scouts. Didnt have time to come and say hello but was good to see you out and about and realise that youtubers are real people too...! There are some great spots with lakes and views etc to wild camp just up the hill from where you were - dont know if you had a chance to explore?

Hi it's just 4 way stretch carpet. You can get it from whoever is cheapest tbh 👍

Hi guys that’s fab if I have to change car for what ever reason, my main reason for choosing a car is whether I can sleep init lmao. Have adapted my Citroen c3 Picasso exclusive and I love it.
Early morning joggers passed by and I heard them say “ how did she sleep in that ?” While I was making my brew 😂.

I really really miss my Zafira B. Without doubt the best car I've ever had and the most practical. Yes it sort of looked like a herse, but loads of space for holidays, trips to IKEA etc and lovely to drive. I had an 07 1.8 Design and the engine was amazing (VVT) Unfortunately it was at the time where the govt decided to tax cars based on CO2 and kept putting it up and up. Think I was paying £270 when I got rid of it.
I slept in the back of mine a few times, but nothing like your setup. That's amazing what you've done by removing the middle bench Nice work.
Great ideas for the Zafira. Im lucky with the Citroen C4 grand picasso. All 5 of the rear seats fold completely flat to form a bed.
I used to kip in the back of a Fabia estate. Rear seats removed, and a stiff tarp over me and my gear. People had no idea there was anyone inside until I rolled back the cover.
Which zafira is this ? A b or c ?

see i have the vauxhall zafira tourer i was debating bout turning into a car camper for when i dont wanna wild camp but the middle seat has a gap between so its a struggle ha! and trying to get the window covers, but im working it out :) (not taking the seats out though! )
My sister had one (the tourer) and slept in it all the time. Maybe yours is different but her seats all folded down and the middle row had a slight slope for the pillow. Easy peasy! You know what Monty, we'd of quite happily given it to you but it's gone to the tip already we're afraid as it was taking up room at home.

Honestly though Monty, you may spend time and money making a raised bed just to realise it's too cramped. We're not the only casualties to that one either lol. It's a 20 minute job removing the middle seats and the space inside is so much more usable. We're quite happy to do a video explaining it next time we do the process.
if you can get some second hand rear trims, and have a look at MUD ( that supply defender bits) they do some USB ports, which you could install in the back, all you need to do is run the wires to the battery and a fuse. I am sure you can get a daft loom and fuse box that is used for kit cars etc. You could even look at a heavy duty battery too,
