So awesome you guys started adding the owners to these vehicle spotlight videos. Seeing their reactions and happiness is heartwarming. Hopefully get my own some day!
I really like the setup for this spotlight...with the owner seeing the truck foe the first time and everything, could you guys please do more spotlights like this one?
Custom Offsets awesome, thanks I couldn’t find it when I searched the website but the link fixed that, thanks again fellas I’ll be deciding on the wheels soon and scoop up the whole package. If u have a list of reputable installers down here in Miami Florida id sure appreciate it
So i looked into this for my New ‘19, and i found that (insert reason here) chevy decided to make the calipers way bigger on the ‘19s and follow on, so now every wheel that used to fit the Canyon/Colorado no longer fits. Just make sure your aware before you start pricing things out....
Man this is spooky! This video was recommended to me by UA-cam! I see how old it is. If anyone’s monitoring this place advise? I have a 2021 Canyon AT-4 stock, I’m wanting to run 265/75R17’s 32.65 tall, 10.4 width. I like my stock wheels. If I went with 5.5” even 6, what system would you recommend? I live in the Desert region of California. Unsure how much rock crawling I’d become involved in. I do not have any skid protection underneath my truck. Not sure if I even want it. My state has gnarly pot-holes that eat up suspension and tires here on our roadways. Some places its like third world nation/states. Its bad. I don’t plan on adding additional weight such as bumpers or winch. What say you?
I put this exact setup on my 2018 Canyon and the inner valve stems for the tpms you guys put on there are hitting my tie rod ends. How did you get this one to work with the same setup?? Stuck on jackstands now
How does it affect ride quality over stock? Softer, Same as stock, or stiffer? Also... I have a 2021 ZR2. Would I be able to have a lift like this installed without any any major trimming, and also retain the multimatic shocks that it comes with? Quality work by the way! Looks fantastic!
I have the same exact truck and I want this build. However when I went to look for these wheels, I was told the pattern wouldn't match. Did you add a small spacer to change wheel pattern??

Man, You guys are wanting to make the drive from Missouri to lift my 2016 Chevy Colorado Z71 I myself already installed a 1.5" zone body lift that was fun not, it needs more looking at the Zone or BDS 5.5 lift.
If you ever do decide you want to make the trip please send an email to info@offsetsgarage.com and talk with them about doing the installation at our shop in Appleton, WI!
Unfortunately we dont have any 47s available at the time, but check out these 46r16 Mickey Thompson Baja Claws! www.customwheeloffset.com/buy-wheel-offset2/90000000742/mickey-thompson-baja-claw-195-46-16lt-tires
You can check out lots of set ups in our complete custom Gallery at customoffsets.com/gallery! And all of our tracks are either purchased through private beat artists or made in house!
the zr2 will still have a better approach angle, front and rear lockers, and those silky smooth DSSV's. BDS has a kit coming for the zr2 thatll clear 35's with less than 5" of lift
Custom Offsets yes only because it’s more money of course but their is a difference in doing something 100% right or 50% and cutting corners. I’m sure he never ask for gears and thought the lift would be ok on its own without supporting mods which looks great on that truck. However now he has swapped tires that were about 29 inches for 33s running 3.42 gears. He should be running something close to 3.89 gears which the closest thing on the market that I could find for the Canyon and Colorado are 4.10 gears for the Dana 46 axle. Adding a larger load to an engine does wear on them and that’s why I said it’s a mistake to not re gear. The jk rubicon’s came with 3.73 gears and people had to re gear them for 35 inch tires because they would lose a lot of street drivability. They came with 32 inch tires so if we do the math 35x3.73/32=4.079 so closest gears to that are 4.10 gears.
Oh and by now way shape or form am I aiming my comment towards you guys or your business you guys did a clean job on the GMC I’m more so aiming at those that don’t know about re gears when they do lifts with larger tires.
It makes sense, but we also don't do gear/axle/drivetrain parts in our local shop, we just do lift kit installs etc. Plenty of other shops do rear gear ratio changes though!
Joe Pesci No, but it’s not very professional looking when you try to show off quality. Just doesn’t make the video look good. Why you but hurt over it or just trolling??
So awesome you guys started adding the owners to these vehicle spotlight videos. Seeing their reactions and happiness is heartwarming. Hopefully get my own some day!
Please show more Colorados/Canyons!
This is the most badass looking canyon I have ever seen.
i agree
Should see mine 😏
This customer is so chill and layed back. "Ben don't lie" lmao. Loved this episode.
Man I wish you guys were located in Texas! Awesome work on that Canyon.
Its badass lift changes it completely
I love it!!! I'm only a year late on commenting.. I'm trying modify my 2017 Colorado Z71 and this is EXACTLY what I want.
My next truck I'm driving from FL to you guys. I can do it but meeting y'all would be an honor.
I really like the setup for this spotlight...with the owner seeing the truck foe the first time and everything, could you guys please do more spotlights like this one?
Classy looking truck. Not overdone.
Got a canyon as well but not gonna mod it it’s my first new truck. Mabye if I get a second one
How much does this setup cost to do? I’ve got one I’m looking at the same proportions to do
Very nice Paul!!.......... enjoy!.

He seems like such a nice guy. Truck looks kick ass!
Great video!

Blaine Lucas thanks for the heads up
I have a 2017 Canyon All Terrain, any difference in wheel fitment. I like this setup, but would I need diff rims for the BSD and the fox 2.5 setup

Can you explain why you had to clearance the calipers on 18 in rims. When 17 in rims fit from factory ?
the difference in offset and spoke design on some wheels sometimes crates clearance problems.
Wheel design, inner barrel design is different, spokes etc.
Here's a good look at fitting wheels with a 5.5 lift. ua-cam.com/video/EKt6omDGQ_c/v-deo.html
I have 20" wheels and like those tires. How much for tires ?Nice Canyon but I prefer the Z-71 Colorado.

Same thing happened for us, we had to switch them out for shorter valve stems!
Ended up doing the same! Not a fan Of inboard valve stems
Did u have to recalibrate the transmission wit those rims?

We offer adapters on our website. Email us at info@customoffsets.com if you would like help getting the right one 🤘🏼
Can u put a 4" lift with the same wheels and tire set?
It would likely work, but will require trimming and might have rubbing.
We need more of these videos! Cool dude and nice truck! Awesome jobs boys 👏🏽
Perfect cv angles man. 👍 nice job
My room mate: OMG, you are gonna be that person that thinks 'lifting your tires or a lift kit are different things!!'. This is my life...
Will this truck be downshifting non stop on the highway? I have a 16 canyon wud like to go to 33s
Re-grearing always helps when installing bigger tires
Some tread stickers get really stuck sometimes
Could you guys do a comparison between rough country and zone lifts on a 1997 1500 z71 Silverado
Was the install done in one day?
What size tire and wheel would you recommend for a 2019 GMC caynon Denali with this 5.5 zone lift kit?

What song is this I love it
Its in-house made beats, we appreciate that!
Definitely rolling with attitude now👍
Wanting this same lift on my Canyon. Does anyone know if this truck will still fit in a standard garage?
Man, You guys are wanting to make the drive from Missouri to lift my 2016 Chevy Colorado Z71 I myself already installed a 1.5" zone body lift that was fun not, it needs more looking at the Zone or BDS 5.5 lift.

Good looking mid-sized truck.
could you guys please take the dame stickers off the tires before you start driving the damn thing. it peves me every time i see that
Billy Porras we totally agree. Sometimes they are so beat up by the time we get them they shred rather than peel off... drives us crazy also!
Sometimes you can't get em so you just drive it around and it goes away! Environmentally safe? Nah. But whatever it's gotta come off somehow
Billy Porras calm down
Joe Pesci did you read there reply we’re all good
actually made for a cool look driving showing the movement. Thought it was weird at first but actually kindof was an artistic touch. @@CustomOffsetsTV
Great video, super rad truck. But, I got to ask, how hard is it to remove the tread stickers before you take it for a spin?! :D
JakeXL or wash the truck. A lot of there vids are half assed. Half wash or not washed at all, kinda ruins the vid in my opinion.
mclovin, we wash vehicles right before returning to customer. That way its a fresh clean vehicle for them.
Damn, I like it.
I have the exact same truck lift and truck 2016 canyon
What motor is under that hood? And if its what i think it is, i only wondder what the gas mileage would be on it now with those 33's
country hero 01 308hp/275 torque v6 has or a 181hp/369 torque Duramax I-4 diesel
I wish you guys were located in Texas!!!! Ayyyy!! That looks so sick!
We ship parts worldwide Iris!
How much was for everything..?
Check links in description Cesar!
Is this kit available for 2wd and 4wd

nice customer service guys
Appreciate the support, thank you!
What kind of MPG's would you be looking at after this lift
Not exactly sure, it varies between vehicle
Song name?
What gear ratio would you recommend for this setup?
We don't believe this setup should need re-gearing, the stock gear ratio should be just fine!
I'm running 4.56 Nitro Gear and Axle . Woke this truck right up. I also have a Hypertech tuner for speedo recalibration and performance tune.
I would like to see you guys do a ranger one time
Can this lift be installed in a drive way
With the right tools any lift can be!
@@CustomOffsetsTV thanks for the fast reply I will be doing this in my home shop but with no vehicle lift thank you very much!
2015 Canyon?
What’s total price of this?
Here is the gallery add for this truck which includes the prices of the wheels, tires and suspension!

looks sharp🙋🏼♀️
This lift is on point
Second time I’ve watched this guys. Great job!
So do you guys recommend 20s over the 18s ?
All comes down to personal preference!
@@CustomOffsetsTV but if you go with 20s will you have more room for the brakes
great truck - but im in the holla - it needs some 47" rock crawlers, if ya wanna keg party...
Unfortunately we dont have any 47s available at the time, but check out these 46r16 Mickey Thompson Baja Claws!

Great work
Who needs a ZR2
the zr2 will still have a better approach angle, front and rear lockers, and those silky smooth DSSV's. BDS has a kit coming for the zr2 thatll clear 35's with less than 5" of lift
Any more info on this kit? actually interested
Andrew C But also way more expensive lol. I can put icons on instead for less money and some left over.
Ines Fuentes ua-cam.com/video/fPQAFy3hgdE/v-deo.html
Looks great 👍
Every time I see one of these canyons on the street I have to double take cause it looks just like a sierra
need some clean fender flares big time
Great vid
the number one mistake people do when they get lift kits on their vehicle is......not re gearing. That poor v6 is going to become super sluggish.
most guys regear after 35's Mr. Mike!

if only gmc would let you still get a canyon with a 5.3 and a column shifter instead of that thing that looks like it came out of a late 90s pontiac.
Nice guy..
4:05
My only complaint is he spent all that money, you left the stickers on the tires even doing a video shoot on the truck.
Wow you really left the decals on the tires lol fail...
JUST RIDE IDAHO is that a big deal in Idaho
Joe Pesci No, but it’s not very professional looking when you try to show off quality. Just doesn’t make the video look good. Why you but hurt over it or just trolling??
💯💪👍
new sub!
More like a 32.2
The price tag of the gmc canyon they should look like this from the factory. Shame on gmc
Way too much footage of these guys shooting the shit vs. showing the damn truck.
How much total cost for all that
