    The purpose of my channel is to document my cancer journey to look back on, and/or help anyone else going through anything similar. It is also to potentially help loved ones supporting those who are in this fight as well. My main goal is to have footage of this journey for my husband and children to look back on. I originally created this channel as a sort of video diary for my family.
    Thank you so much for following along on this journey. Your love and support help me so much.

      @@inferno2nite most workplaces allow a certain number of days per employee per year and those employees, if they want, can "donate" any amount of their sick days to a group sick day account. that’s not entirely true. You can get medical leave for yourself or family- FMLA. No one has to give up anything for you to stay home with your sick loved ones. You just wont get paid for it. Our government is too busy giving tax payer dollars to drug addicts and lazy people who don’t want to work. Democrats love giving away more and more money to people that don’t deserve it. They also like giving billions to fund a war we aren’t involved in instead of taking care of their own first. Only way to change that is by voting them out.

    I was very touched about your colleagues donating their sick time. Here in Sweden if someone close to you (could be a family member, a relative, a friend och even a neighbour) have a life threatening illness the state pays 80% of your regular salary so you can be a full-time care giver and a support to the sick person. The right to take leave of absence from your job without losing your job is protected by law. Nobody should be alone in times of sickness.

      I live in California. Several years ago my mother passed away and I sold her house (my inheritance) for 3 million dollars. How much of that 3 million did I get to keep? I received every penny of it. Their was no capitol gain tax, and I do mean none at all. Had I been living in Sweden I'd have lost most of that 3 million to taxes but in return I'd have received free health insurance. Thanks but I prefer the situation here in the US.

    • @fridensfrojd3108
      @fridensfrojd3108 2 місяці тому

      @@sananselmospacescienceodys7308 Well for transparency you would have lost 22% of the capitol gain in tax. If your gain was 100 000 you would have lost 22 000. There is absolutely a price to pay. If I had a 3 million house in California to cover my retirement I might very well have felt the same as you haha. But since I don't I am very happy about our welfare system, very grateful to the people that been contrinuting to it before me, and I am very proud to be able to be contributing to it now.

      she was simply sharing how they do things in her country not making comparisons. But since we’re on the topic, it is without a doubt that many other countries such as Sweden treat their citizens like human beings, and life and family is priority over working to death. Women get a year off paid when they have a baby and fathers get the same! I can’t even begin to name all of the ways America sucks at basic human decency but health care being free is a lot more important than your tax situation, which means nothing if you aren’t alive and well to spend it. Only people who don’t have to worry about health care demean the importance of free health care. Yawn.

We had the wonderful support of our family, friends, and neighbors( not financially, but in terms of a meal train, help with taking my dad to and from his appointments, and just being present for us in our time of need) Back in the 80's, there was no social media or go fund me's, so we did what we could to make memories and enjoy our time taking drives down to the beach, or little stay-cations. ...and that's the problem in America. Leave of any kind is no good without full pay. That kind of leave just lay's a heavier burden on families than they're already burdened with. I lived in Norway for years. No such worries there, along with most of Europe. Where I worked, we had our own doctor and nurse as well. Along with quiet rest areas for those not feeling well, or with chronic health challenges. This was accepted and encouraged. Also, one cannot be fired, lose their job due to health and/or family issues. America is woefully inadequate accordingly, and that's putting it politely. Kyle is truly blessed to have colleagues giving him their paid days, along with financial help from family and friends as well. Otherwise, they'd really have financial challenges, and he would quite possibly lose his job.

    Jenny you're an inspiration to all. I recently started following you. So happy I did. Cancer is so hard and it can be the worst thing in life. Well it is. I want you to know when I was many years "younger". My husband had cancer. He was so brave. He's my Hero. I love and miss him daily. They didn't have all the things they do now. I am so glad you're getting the best treatment there is. I think of you and your family often. You have a very strong support group. That's so important. Jenny my Prayers for you is to beat this. Live along beautiful life. You both love each other so. You can see it and feel it. Thank you for sharing yours and your families lives with us. What a truly wonderful husband you have but you already know this. Your children are adorable. They seem to be doing well. I hope you have a blessed and beautiful weekend ❤️🙏 God bless you Jenny and family ❤️🙏🙏

    I am not surprised that Kyle is a teacher!!! I was a teacher for a while before I had to leave work. I was also a hairdresser for 14 years. You guys are very lucky to have such a great support system!!!! I have nobody I mean nobody who cares what happens to me. My daughter became famous singer and doesn't want anything to do with me at all. Not even if I get cancer. Which I have it. I have a noggel on my thyroid. You guys are the sweetest!!!! I hope some day I find someone close to the kind of man Kyle is. I can't ever see Kyle with anyone ever again, he will forever be your best cheerleader forever!!!! You guys are the best. Awwww sweet!!!!

      Kimberleyjoyce2025, I have 3 nodules in my thyroid. They have been there for at least 2 years. They “look” at them every 6 months to make sure they aren’t growing rapidly. So far they have not done a biopsy on them. They appeared during my breast cancer treatment. Was your nodule biopsied? Was it cancer? Did they remove only the nodule, or did they remove the entire thyroid? Are you doing chemotherapy? Thank you for the information.

      I hope you both are doing ok. I have thyroid nodules as well that are (so far) a watch & wait kind of thing, but having 3 of them (like you do) freaks me out.
      Regardless-I hope this finds you both healthy & happy! Cancer is obviously awful and having some kind of support system is paramount. I pray that you sweet ladies do. 🙏🏼

    It's such a blessing to see you and your family and friends supporting you in making your journey. God has blessed me with Cancer three-time in less than five years. Each time they returned Cancer, two different types would appear. One was aggressive, and the other would be less aggressive when the Radiologist confirmed the Cancer. Tears started😅 to roll down my face, and there was controllable crying. He and his assistant stepped out of the room for me to be alone for as long as needed. I remember hearing my mother's voice yelling my name several times. Sandra, Sandra, I got you, I got you!
    The voice sounded just like a mother(the only thing was that my lives about two hours away). I remember answering her, and I heard the voice again (it was so comforting ). I stopped crying and sat there and started singing hymns; I don't remember them. As I was leaving, assist meet me in the hallway and asked if I was going to be okay. I said yes because I have Jesus. We both smiled at each other, and I went on my way. My last Cancer diagnosis and treatment was in 2015👏🏾🙏🏾 God has missions for us on this earth so that we can Glorify him for a reason. In the early years of my Journey, I would cry, and even put a pillow over my face and scream as often as I liked ( l was alone at the time). I felt a significant relief come over me. I have done that for years, but it helped me. Continue to pray and ask God to guide you. You are such a beautiful and positive person despite your Diagnosis. God knows what you are going through, and you are taking those blows like a Heavy Weight Champion, and your husband is your Coach. What a team! I love you and your family.
    👍🏾❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹🙏🏾

    I know this is way after you posted this video, but it has given me comfort watching this now. I was diagnosed about a month after you were, Jenny, with ovarian cancer Stage 4. I am much older than you and I'm told I have beaten the statistics, so I'm lucky to still be alive. I had chemo and surgery, and on maintenance drugs for over a year and a half, but it stopped working so I'm heading into chemo again next week. Thank you so much for your positive attitude! It's so hard to balance being realistic about my chances, with being hopeful and positive. Love to you both and your beautiful kiddos!

    After losing my daughter to breast cancer at 38 years old with two small children I look back and wish she had spent more of her time resting to help her body heal herself than making memories for her children that today they don't remember. The longer your life with your children they will be able to remember. You can't fight cancer it demands center stage. I say trick it and rest to heal and eat a great healing diet and I am counting on you Jenny to survive this for all the mom's who have lost their daughters.
