u Unless I'm missing something here, according to the instruction manual, the up position is in phase, and the down position in in out of phase. They specify in the manual that it only changes when the pick up selector is in the middle position, that is to say, the bridge pick up would be in/out of phase with neck pick up, so it does not do anything when the pick up selector is in the Bridge position? I don't know, maybe it's sum sort of Placibo affect, because I could swear the tone changes when moving the in/out of phase switch with the bridge pick up position
Nice guitar. I'll be getting one soon. I like the blades better than the toasters. I would definitely put the other blades back in. Just me. Good demo. Thanks!
You can do any type of music with this USA made beauty. I had one 20 years ago in excellent condition with case & I should a never sold it but in those days it was give & take or trade . Awesome review of this guitar. Sadly I know it sold for under 400
Excellent review Shaun! With the pandemic going on, I've found myself with a lot of stay-at-home time that I've been spending with my guitars not the least of which is my first electric almost 38 years ago, 81 T-60 natural finish, original blade pickups in Neck/Bridge. I've been searching UA-cam to see what, if anything, people are doing with or using the T-60 on. What a Swiss Army Knife of a guitar it is and, yes, there is a lot to "get use to" with it. When I play my Gibson SG, it's like we are perfect partners - everything just feels right. When I play my T-60, it's like the guitar challenges me to work harder for every note, every sound. Is that a good thing? I don't know but it's like one is a wife and the other's a mistress....
Nailed it. It will work you but damn if it can't get so much out of you that you didn't know was there and the multitude of tones is just flat out amazing
This T60 in the video actually had both toaster pickups. The bridge pickup was from the earliest versions of T60s. The original pickup to this guitar is the one in the neck which is a blade toaster pickup.
What a fantastic review. Thank you for posting this, you've really helped me decide what my next guitar will be
Thank you for your kind words. Glad I could help Sean

Thanks Shaun! Loved the detail explanation! Most don't understand the phasing switch.
Yeah brother. Hope the video helped. Nice talking to you earlier
Nice review and explanation of all the pickup settings
Thank you

It's a possibility I'll do it. Regardless, these guitars are amazing.

Love my Peavey T-25 over my Gibson Les Paul and Fender Telecaster

Hi from France Shaun, nice review! I'm on a deal for this T60! I ask me why the pickups look different on your T60?
This T60 in the video actually had both toaster pickups. The bridge pickup was from the earliest versions of T60s. The original pickup to this guitar is the one in the neck which is a blade toaster pickup.
Shaun I am searching for replacement saddles and maybe nut what source would you recommend ?
I'd look on Reverb, Ebay, or a T60 Facebook group and cross your fingers! Wish I had a better answer for you
what is this being played through?
