@@JamieCarter-wv8rp I think he's referring to the music he's playing is often associated with famous Strat artists (e.g., country = Tele : Mayer = Strat).
To get the best from a Telecaster bridge pickup, start with the tone control rolled back about 90 degrees, then adjust the amp to suit. This gets rid of the most piercing frequencies, resulting in a nicer tone. I wired my red Tele so the tone control only affects the bridge pickup, since the neck was just right with the control wide open.
Got two of these to learn how to mod....modded with brass saddles, better pots/switch, and Lollar/Fralin and they both sound amazing. Bought then sold an American Pro 2... super well made but stock pups were so-so and I didn't want to fool with the fancy-pants 4-way circuitry, etc. NICE vid...did the CV justice!!!
@@emremulkut Vintera has a thicker neck. Squier CV is a lot thinner. For me, I prefer the Vintera neck. Playing the Vintera with the thicker neck just felt more “authoritative,” inspired more confidence, and I could feel the attack, sustain, and resonance of each note. The Squier CV neck was fine, however it did not feel as responsive or dynamic. That’s my very personal take on it, but I hope that helps!
Yes, if you’re able to first play one in person. Quality control is not consistent and frets may need work. I suggest spending a little more on the Player Series II or even Player Series. Quality control is still inconsistent at times, so best to try before you buy, but Made In Mexico Fenders hold value better in the used market than Made In Indonesian Squiers.
I know a Strat guy when I hear one! Love the tone
Not a strat dude. So...no you don't. This is a Tele.

Thanks for showcasing the awesome clean Tele sound with your great skills!

one more tip.....disconnect neck from tone pot....common mod...improves neck clarity/output.
@@lazvt8469 Er... if you re-read my post you'll see that I already did that.
That Tele is a good one for sure- love the inspired playing with all of those great tones- so glad that I saw this post! 🎸👍🙏

Sounds like a successful mod project! Thanks for watching!
Your tele specifically looks gorgeous. It looks toasty
Nice demo! Are you playing through an amp or direct in? Is yours heavy? Mine sounds great but heavy.
Sorry read your remarks. Sounds great through the spark mini!
Thanks! Yes, it’s heavy. Heaviest guitar I own.
Sounds great!! 🎉
Hans, I also saw you playing the Vintera Tele. Feel-wise, how these to compare?

@@hanskorn thank you so much!
Great job 👌🏼
Did you changing saddle?
Yes, to SW3 Gotoh Wilkinson Brass Swivel bridge saddles.
@@hanskorn Thx!
Sound amazing! 🤘
Thanks a lot!
Very nice playing
I know that song, dancing in a burning watchtower.
Yo también la tengo y la verdad si está muy buena.
👍
Tin foil the back of the pickgaurd and that static will go away - or rock the dryer sheet trick 🎉 sounds great -
Thanks!
Did you add some reverb?
There’s definitely some reverb on there.
Yes
No the guitar just does that sometimes
is it stock?
All stock except for the saddles and tuners. Changed the saddles to Wilkinson SW3 Brass Swivel Saddles and the tuners to Guyer Locking Tuners.
Beautiful guitar 😎🤙
needs a $ 1000.00 amp
$1000 amp ain't much these days....
No ‘dad rock’? Not real review…
