I ordered this leather for my Jeep and there is no way I could have completed the job without this video. I also needed a couple drinks, restbreaks and some much needed cursing but I got it done!! Thank you for this video! 👍🍻
Great job explaining the removal and installation process. I been debating of paying for the installation or doing this my self, after watching this video it encouraged me to do it myself and save $400 for the installation. It is inspiring to see how relaxed you were when doing the installation. Keep it Jeeping!
Somehow, in watching other Jeep Wrangler vids, I came across this. I am not looking to switch over to leather..... but if I ever do - I am looking you up! lol..... I found myself watching the entire video. It was SUPER INTERESTING.... and beautifully done! Nice tutorial and you have some amazing looking leather seats!!!!!
Thanks to this video I was able to install my own Katzkin leather kit with no prior upholstery knowledge plus I saved a ton of money on my car insurance by switching to GEICO! Thanks Phil 🍻
Excellent video. But some improvements sure can be done. @ 9:55.. he could have cut a smaller hole & manage to push the cover down through the screw heads. the cloth cut won't look neater.
THANK YOU so much for making this video. It helped out so much, I kept my phone by me and watched the video a bunch of times while installing my Katzkin seats. I received my seats yesterday, took out the old cloth the day before and installed the new leather in one day. THANK YOU again! Is there any easy way to get rid of some of the wrinkles?
Great video! Thanks for the step by step instructions. Really got me thinking about upgrading my current factory leather seats. My current leather seats seem to be deteriorating and upgrading to new leather vs standard seat covers may be the next step. What exactly does the silicone spray do for the seats/seat covers? Is there a specific type of spray you would recommend?
The silicone just makes it so the leather doesnt slide around on the pads underneath. That way they won't wrinkle after sitting in them for long periods of time.
As long as you staple everything nice and tight then the wrinkles go away after about 12 hours of sitting. They pretty much "stretch" into shape in the first 12 hours after being installed.
Usually, people know what they are talking about before they open their mouths and say something as STUPID as you just did. Also, your english is fucking terrible. I'm sorry that you don't know what you're talking about, but it's ok, now everyone watching this video knows you're a complete moron! The wrinkles that you are so upset about GO AWAY AFTER 12 HOURS :) HAHAHAHA dude you should do some research before talking shit and making yourself look like a child. Cmon, Dean, if you're name is Dean you're probably an old fuck. What, are you like fucking 90? I'm having more fun responding to your dumb ass than I did making this video!!! It's one of my favorite things when someone proves to the whole Internet how fucking ignorant and retarded they are, such as yourself. Now please, Dean, keep your ignorant simple-minded opinions to yourself, and kindly eat shit and die. :) Thanks! -LegendaryPhil
Best video I’ve seen so far!!! Wish I could find one for the gladiator with seat airbags
Very fine job

Awesome instructions. Thank you very much from New Hampshire.
Most Excellent Video! Much Appreciated for posting this very well done "How To" Video!

How is the vinyl seat holding up. 👍🏻
Awesome video, would have been a lot more painful to install my leather without it. Thank you very much!

Thank you very much, we worked very hard on this video!!! I appreciate that a lot!
Thank you so much !! Love the color Red. I have a question, where do I get the leather covers for my jeep from?
Even in 2020, this is a great video. Especially on how to remove the seatback. Thanks.
Thanks to this video I was able to install my own Katzkin leather kit with no prior upholstery knowledge plus I saved a ton of money on my car insurance by switching to GEICO! Thanks Phil 🍻

So relaxing to watch you do it. I can't believe you didn't cuss one time.
Any chance you would make a video for the JL?

-Sounds like you could afford to donate to the mans channel then?
What size hob rings?
is this salsa red or just red?
How long did this take you? A rough estimate?
I am looking for a tutorial installing leather seat on a 2 door wrangler specifically the back seat?
What size hog rings did you use? Also can you recommend any special brand or type silicone we should use when doing this type of job??
What's the silicone spray for?

Where do I get the red seats in this video? The ones with the black outline?
What kind of spray
How are the seats holding up now?
What color is that Salsa or red
Great video! this guy knows what he's doing! so professional.
Nice color!!
What you learn from this is, not a DIY job. If I'm dropping a grand on leather, I am paying a professional to install it. Still nice vid.
What size hog rings did you use?
Where are the prices?
Great video
How did you get rid of the ripples? Steam?

you do this as a living right?
Damn it. Where was this when I needed it. Good job bro. Hard work tho. I never wanna do it again.
You're amazing.
I hate that you have to cut these $1500.00 seat covers to install. Do they ever tear where you have to cut them?
Phil ... You look different.... Lol.... Nice editing
lol thanks man! I made this video for my dude John cause the Jeep community needed a detailed how-to video and its getting some good responses!
Nice work ...but too much wrinkles on a rear seat ... how to fix it
The wrinkles smoothed out and completely disappeared after about 24 hours. There are NO wrinkles on any of the seats now.
That`s some RED LEATHER DAMN.
im in AZ in 105 degrees leather seats are not what you want.
O God, leather in a wrangler, sad.
Too many wrinkles!
Usually, people don't want to go to that much trouble to have interior look worst.
How about a few more close-ups of your work?
Well Dean S, sadly you just showed you know very little about how leather works.
Usually, people know what they are talking about before they open their mouths and say something as STUPID as you just did. Also, your english is fucking terrible. Does anyone make an electric seat for a Jeep Wrangler?
