I just noticed you can press F on death to commend the guy for the fight, like a inbuilt "gg"

It is pretty dissapoiting that the competitive scene is lacking. However being a lower level it's pretty fun, the highest levels I run into are like lvl 100 and the fights are still totally winnable so it's kinda nice for now.

Being a lower level and new to this game genre is whack and not fun at all.
The pro players I run into every day are between lvl 300-700 so I'd like to play on your servers mate

Remember how in Chiv 1 you could enable verbose console and see what parts of your body were hit, and the damage you took from each of those hits? Technology that was lost to the ages. Not even Mordhau had that feature, which always baffled me.
Ah yes, the great fire of Torn Banner Studios, when all of the sacred custom server creation knowledge was lost.

New mordhau update... They finally added another map which should have released with the rest of eastern, changed the UI for no reason, added more paid dlc despite a strong negative response to the first set, and added a beginner playlist to make the game more "accessible" which seems about 3 years too late.
I don't like Chiv 2 as much as Mordhau, unfortunately. I do still enjoy listening to Stouty's heady explanations though as he makes his way through the journey of being a melee god

Are you morphing from a right to a left overhead? Looks like a neat move.
Yeah, it's a fun mechanic. You can do that with strikes and stabs too. You can also hold down lmb to delay it and make it deal more damage.

The game is so good. It looks stunning! All I needed to have was a new CPU and now it's so enjoyable. The game almost doesn't even feel as clunky because of how smooth everything is

FPS games will always have more players because there's never any guesswork when fighting an opponent. People don't like to feel completely out of control and forced to gamble.
Have you never seen a quake match before? People predict rocket placements all the time, same thing with pre-firing in CS
@@Stouty I forgot its 1996 and everyone still plays quake. Seriously though, pre-firing and gamble swinging aren't even close to the same thing. You can't even pretend it's the close because pre-firing is done from a position of power and confidence while gambling comes from a position of frustration and desperation.

@@Stouty Ok... How is that a rebuttal to my previous comment? Most gambles aren't done with "health to play with". Even so, a gamble is called a gamble for no other reason than it's uncontrolled and random. That makes it not a skill based tactic like pre-firing.

Does anyone get stuck on the menu and can’t play at all if they leave it for a few minutes? I have to reset the game every time to start it working again🤔 I play on PS5.
I consider myself an A+ gamer but I usually get my ass kicked on this one. Probably because I'm playing on a ps4...
