They are still selling cars with defective transmissions, there is a TSB 21-NA-169 this is the work to be performed before a sale to a customer , the other bulletin is DCS6892 . I know this also for a fact as my 2024 GMC Terrain AT 4 had to have a new transmission after only 180 kms 111 miles .
Dear lord, Ram has issues with the "hemi tick" which their engineers can't figure out, Ford has a class action lawsuit with their F150 10 speed transmissions, new Tundra has major issues and so on. Does anyone make a reliable truck anymore. I am beyond anal with maintenance and what I can realistically expect from a vehicle, and I want at leat 250k miles out of them. Is that too much to ask for without having to worry when/if there will be issues?
