Im not sure why the 6+2 pin connector fited in the 4+4 plug... That should normaly not be possible, right?

@@Dirt-E-Bikes Well i have no clue why those cables fit there but I have seen some people on Reddit who did the same mistake and just didn't notice that those GPU cables aren't fit for CPU cables and they either ruin their motherboard, CPU or GPU. Also you shouldn't use old modular PSU cables in a new PSU cables. That result in the same failure. PSU and motherboard manufacturers should really come up with a different connector it's too easy to mix up

@@kolver624 true, and thanks for the infos. i asked myself what the difference is between this two connectors, the only thing i heard was that "you cant do it wrong, because it only fits in where it belongs"... That does not seem to be true, at least not in my case ;-)
