Watching JP’s videos got me interested in beekeeping several years ago. I started with 2 packages of bees. Lots of splits and swarms later I have 25 hives around the area and I am a member of our local beekeeper's association. Thanks JP!
Dang, going Old School without the vac. This brings back some memories of fun. Great video as always and hope that bug has bit you again to bee here more often.
That hive was a lot bigger than I thought it would be. Such a lot of comb underneath those boards! Well done getting them to reorient to the box. And good to see you sharing your exploits again. Please continue to do so. Really enjoy seeing you work with the bees. I've always thought that would be an amazing job/hobby to have. If I'm ever fortunate enough to have some land someday, I'll definitely have to give it a try.
Sooooo happy to see you back. Missed you, and was worried that you might of quit us. I'm glad I was wrong. May God bless you and yours. Please take care. Bye for now.
Awww Mr JP, I have missed your reg up-loads so much 🤭. You are a pleasure to watch sir, God Bless you & your family 💛🐝💛 From me across the big pond in Yorkshire, UK 🇬🇧
JP, a story went viral about a young child thinking there was a monster in their bedroom, as it turned out a massive beehive was in the wall and the first thing I thought about was calling you. Great to see your notification!
JP I just watched your video from 10 months ago yesterday, what a coincidence that you posted immediately after I saw that one! I'm glad though, youve been missed and I hope you are doing well
What a well built gazebo. They don’t make them like this anymore as when the made you they broke the mold! Good to see your post JP. We have all missed you. These bees are lucky to have you. 😊
Great video! I always enjoy watching your videos. Earlier this year coming out of winter I opened a hive and found two queens. I decided to just let them work it out and left them. Then last week I was showing a new wannabe beekeeper that hive and there was two queens still in there and laying up everything! I have only seen two queens in a hive a couple of times and never seen them stay like that but it does happen. Always something new with bees! Thanks again for the great video and glad to see you back at it!
Wow what a better way to start the weekend then to discover we have been blessed with a new video from our favourite Bee man JP . Thank you for the video JP . Great video .
JP....so happy to see your video!! I love the way your so calm and take such care with the combs! You have been missed! Love how you allow the hive to get oriented to the new hive for 1-2 days before collecting the hive and take home! Your style is awesome! Glad to see your face! ❤❤❤. 😊
Thank you JP. I started bee keeping 5 years ago while watching you and many of your LA bee keeping UA-cam friends. Your patience and respect with the bees is what I enjoy watching you. Last July I taught my daughter to take over our bee yard. I told her move slowly, respect of the bees and patience. I miss my homestead. We now live full time on a boat traveling the East Coast. Nice to see you
That's fascinating, but I would miss my homestead too. I became disabled and had to sell my horse farm and horses, was like losing extended family. How do you like living on a boat? And the traveling, do you enjoy that too? Sorry to be nosy, I've just always wondered about boat-living. Thank you!
@@Doxymeister I miss my homestead and animals. I would love to have a chicken or two with us. Boating -both my husband and I drove boats in the Coast Guard and we always wanted to get back to the water. We sold our business and my husband retired. Living on a boat is like rving. We move place to place chasing warmer weather. Currently our adventure is the America’s Great Loop. We left Key West and heading north along the coast to the Chesapeake then NY. Heading up the Erie and Trent Servant canals to Michigan, down through Chicago and the river system popping out at mobile Alabama and back to Key West.
good to see you back JP. Was assembling Honey Super frames today after work. The flow is on and I'm three thick already, running low on equipment, haha. It's gonna be a good year. Keep them videos comming
Wow, that’s a lotta bees! Like you said, the numbers were deceptive on this one. More and more kept emerging and I was hoping you’d find that queen to help the ladies find the box. So nice to see the 🐝 relocated to keep doing what they do and glad you’re still at it helping them. I’m excited to see some bees coming around to us up here in the northeast now that it’s warming up. My flowers are ready!
Hey there Mr. JP. Nice to see you again. Seriously strange, here I was thinking of you all day and wondering -- and here you are! I stopped watching STARMAN so I could watch you. Kinda stubborn about moving, huh? You might want to think about putting some plantain ointment on that finger cut. Thanks for a super video. Blessings on you and yours.
Hey JP great to see you again your looking good! I asked Jeff back in January how you were doing since we haven’t seen you in a while. He said you were fine. Great video just like always. You make it look a whole lot easier than it is. Thanks for sharing your skills and how you do things.
Good to see you JP. I learned everything I know about bees from you. I was very busy catching swarms out in ca. Now I moved to Nebraska and i miss doing it. Bees dont seem to swarm here. Ive overwintered my two hives for 4 years now. They are thriving. There doesn't seem to be any mite or moth pressure here either. Again, good to see you!
Been 10 months JP - so nice to see you again and that you are healthy and well! God bless you, the family and the bees!

@6:14 - Man that knife brings back memories of 80's outdoor shows at the PA farm show. Ginsu knives were all the rage.
I’ve been using these knives for years! Yes, they’re basically Ginsu knives, cut through a brick then slice through a tomato! 🤣
Great to see you back, JP! Miss seeing your videos!!
