Some people ask how you can hear the difference between bees inspecting you and bees attacking. When Charlie ran, you could hear the difference very well. Poor Charlie, but this had educational value.
The sound of bees varies in many different situations, and as a beekeeper it is in your best interest to listen to the variations of sounds and learn what they mean as they certainly do tell you the intent of the bees. Happy to see you are picking up on the intricacies of bees, thanks for watching. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
A beekeepers wit...while running away from stinging bees. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Mary-Ruth. Mr. Ed
I’ve been in such a bad mood today and watching you and good time Charlie has turned my mood around! Thank you for your infectious wonderful positivity you always exude!!! Peace be with you Mr Ed!!
The things that come out of that man's mouth never fail to make me laugh. I'm a blessed man to have him as my friend. Thanks for watching. God's peace Ed. Mr. Ed
@JeffHorchoff yes you are blessed to have him as a friend, your video's are awesome. Beats all the garbage on tv., I cut the cable 7 years ago. Bee video's 🐝 🐝 🐝 hobby beekeeping ever since
It seems Charlie and I are having a lot of large removals right now, mI certainly hope it is not a future trend. After all, me and Charlie are old. Glad to hear you enjoyed the video, thank you for watching. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
Thanks Jeff and Charlie. I get good ideas from you. I’ve just got 7 or 8 hives. But last year I got over 700 lbs of honey-wow that was a lot of work. I can’t imagine 6000 pounds. God bless you both. 😅
Delighted to be of assistance to you, it warms my heart hearing our efforts do make a difference. Wow, what a haul of honey from your bees, congratulations! Thank you for your blessings and for watching. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
Charlie and I are so blessed to come across such wonderful works of creation, and even though it is a lot of hard work, sweat, and stings, we would not want to be doing anything else. We were born to be bee wranglers. Thanks for watching. God's peace Dan. Mr. Ed
Another awesome video! Is there any chance you can precisely measure cells of that colony drone and worker bee ?At few spots ? I think larger cells make bees live less of being fatter( larger ) plus less bees per capita in the colonies for mite control and take up more room in hives if you have it in the hive of course I see how more smaller bees will fit in the frame creating more dense colonies and was wandering that this genetics that you removed are the one of the smaller size better genetics !! Happybeeing
I have never gotten into the "science" of bees though I can see it's intrigue. For me, I simply appreciate the diversity of the genetics in bees, and stand in awe at how incredible these little insects are. Thanks for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed
This hive was amazing! Mr Ed and Good Time Charlie you two did one amazing job. I love your videos, you’ve peaked my interest in bees and the importance of saving them. Love from Canada! Keep on making more. ❤
Glad to hear your interest in bees has been realized and I sincerely hope you will be following along with more of me and Good Time Charlie's bee wrangling adventures. Happy to have you join us. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Lori Anne. Mr. Ed
That was a massive hive and you failed see the "Don't Disturb Bee's" sign the bee's hung outside the hive.😆 Never seen Good Time Charlie vacate the area so quickly. Did a great job getting those girls under control and clearing out the hive. Great video and thanks for sharing. God Bless you both!!
I saw the sign, I just don't know how to read "bee writings." Next time I see a sign like that I will remember what it means. In all the years I have been knowing Charlie, I never saw him move so quickly. I'm telling you, there was a cloud of bees all over the camera. Thank you for your blessings and support. God's peace Phil. Mr. Ed
Great video! Interesting idea putting the Honey Bandit in the smoker. If it had swarmed, it would have been a monster! I'm glad you were able to collect all of those resources. Have a blessed week!
Putting the Honey Bandit in the smoker is an old trick many bee wranglers use, it allows the smell of the Honey Bandit to do it's job while not harming bees as it surrounds them. Yes indeed, I bet that swarm was HUGH! Thank you for your blessings and for watching. Until the next one, God's peace Steven. Mr. Ed
I imagine most people would be in way over there heads with a hive like that. Meanwhile, Mr. Ed is jumping right in with a huge grin. Hope those girls can learn to chill out at the Abbey. They're fiesty!
If there is one thing Charlie and I love doing more than wrangling bees, it's meeting the good folks that follow along with our adventures, looking forward to meeting you guys as well. Thanks for watching. God's peace Lynn. Mr. Ed
It always impresses me just how many bees I can't see until I spray the Honey Bandit into a space. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Nana. Mr. Ed
One of these days when you’re back at the Abbey if you could show the inside of your bee vac to show how you have a different layers of screen in there for the bees to be sitting on. I think some people are led to believe that they’re all just crammed in there on top of each other.
I have shown what the bee vac looks like with bees in it, but I will show what it looks like before it happens as well. Great idea. Thanks for that and for watching. God's peace David. Mr. Ed
Trust me, the only times we are not happy are when the bees are lighting us up like they did on this one. Glad you enjoy watching, thank you so much for doing so, and kep on watching. Until the next one, God's peace John. Mr. Ed
I re queened the hive with one of Mike Barry's grown queens. In fact, he posted a short on it on Saturday, maybe you can find it. Get them mites in control, good man taking care of his bees. Thank you for your blessings and for watching. God's peace Brian. Mr. Ed
I post these videos, to show just how important bees are to our very survival, and why we should not just kill them out of ignorance. I have been rescuing bees from being needlessly destroyed for over 14 years now, and hope to continue to do so for many more years to come. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my over 600 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Sandra. Mr. Ed
.This was no different than most of your videos, it was great . Lots of bees. God bless all of you. It is a real warm 52f here today, most of the snow is gone.
I just got off the phone with a guy from Anchorage and he told me the same thing about the snow. Glad to hear winter is finally leaving you. Thank you for your blessings and for watching. God's peace Richard. Mr. Ed
You boys make the best bee content! What a pair 😊 I just saw a video from Africa where they are using beehives to keep elephants at bay (and safe from human settlements) which is a win for nature. They hang the hives on cables between miles of poles, so other animals can cross but elephants would disturb the hives. And elephants fear bees even more than mice. Brilliant right? Greetings from the Netherlands ✌🏼🇳🇱✌🏼
I saw the same video, it really is cool how a small bee can put the fear into such a large animal. Delighted to have you following along with our adventures, thank you for doing that for us. Until the next one, God's peace Nielsi. Mr. Ed

I haven’t watched your videos in a long time, but I was feeling bees today. This video was incredibly interesting… I’ll have to go watch the rest of the videos that I missed.
Interesting that the smaller, second area of the hive had a different architecture - curved around instead of straight lines like the older section of the hive. With three(!) vac bodies worth of bees still remaining, I can't imagine how many bees there were BEFORE it swarmed!
I am always amazed at how bee build their hives, and many, like this one, change direction as the hive gets larger. Why? I have no idea, but it is an interesting sight to see. I would have loved to catch that swarm, I bet it was a 10 pounder. Thanks for watching. God's peace Karla. Mr. Ed
Two reasons why the bees are so angry. 1 you just tore their home apart. 2 it's a huge hive. the more bees you have, the more protective they are of their home.
Absolutely correct on both accounts. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Paul. Mr. Ed
Good afternoon, Mr. ED We just sat down with your video and our brunch. We had errands to do this morning. It was a good idea to watch you for brunch. That was an angry hive! Wow ! Did Charlie get stung ? Wow, it's very entertaining. How many bees? We will watch it again on Saturday morning. Yall, have a good weekend, ya hear!!
Looks like another great removal! It took a second to figure out why the Charlie was showing us dance moves in the middle of a removal. I have used honey bandit in the smoker, I just place a bit of news paper to the top so it holds the liquid and gets steamed off. I'll use the news paper to spray down and place in the attic just in case I need to remove the pressure for whatever reason. Once it's sprayed directly it's hard to remove that pressure later. I do keep the orientation of the combs as well, but it's to make sure the comb goes sideways or upside down so they won't reuse it after it emerges. That way they work brood and foundations or comb I have for them. A month later I can remove their old comb without having anything left in them.
They are 7 X 1/8 inch rubber bands I order from Amazon, the link is below. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. Actually, the bees got the camera, luckily, Charlie escaped the onslaught. Yes, the comb did frame up very nicely, and that has a lot to do with the yellow measuring board I use. It does a great job on getting a very accurate measurement. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace. Mr. Ed
I bet there are a lot of folks out there who wish their office looked like mine and Charlie's. Thank you for your blessings and for watching. Until the next one, God's peace Patrick. Mr. Ed.
You are very observant, I never even noticed that. I did however notice there were a LOT of angry bees in this hive. Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to watch the video. Until the next one, God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
He had his suit on, but the camera did not and it took a bunch of hits. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Stephanie. Mr. Ed
Very interesting that you explain the different comb size and how they are used it something I hadn’t noticed before, but was always curious about. Keep up the good work.
What is the purpose of a drone bee , other than matting with a queen. Which brings me to my second question. Do the hive drones mate with the hive queen or does she have to fly out to a different hive drone to mate?
It's a woman's world for sure in honey bees, same as Ants all women! And she has to fly out to be mated, and the drones die after mated. They are only created for the queen. They don't live in the hive or have any other job but to service the queen. It's all true. We need to have a talk with the Lord. What is his strategy 😂😂😂😮😮
None and no, drones congregate a relatively short distance from their home hive, queens will usually fly two to three times as far on a mating flight. Things change a bit when a mating flight cage or artificial insemination is used.
The purpose of a drone is to mate with a queen bee. Drones do live in hives but contribute nothing to building it up. In fact, they are a drain on the resources of the hive which is why come fall, they are driven from the hive to starve to death. The virgin queen does not mate in the hive, she flys out to mate and this may be for a period of 3 to 5 days, and she will mate with up to 20 drones. Good questions brother, thanks for asking. Until the next one, God's peace Jose. Mr. Ed

I thought this one would be a long haul. Well done both. Just a joy to watch something sane in a world that is just crazy at the moment. Will keep on watching! God bless.
Dang, those were some po'd bees. Those were some tough girls. That was absolutely nuts. Hey, Charlie, you're quick for an old dude. 😅 (I can say that at 60+ because I'm not) We love you Charlie ❤. The size of that hive was amazing.
I can't fault those bees at all for being so angry at first, I would hate to be awaken early on a chilly morning with my roof being torn off while I was all toasty under a blanket. I wish the viewers could have seen what I saw as Charlie was making a rapid departure as I opened the hive, a cloud of bees all over the camera he was holding. I never saw Charlie move that quick before. Thanks for watching. God's peace Karen. Mr. Ed
They are right at home here at the abbey, and since I re queened the colony, their disposition has done a 180. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace. Mr. Ed
Personally, I was glad they had swarmed, we did not have enough vac's to hold any more bees than the ones we vacuumed. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Etta. Mr. Ed
We both got stung up pretty good on this one, the exact number I don't recall, but it was more than 10 for sure. By the time we stopped wearing our suits the danger from stings had passed, most of the bees were in the bee vac. Tomorrow is my birthday and whatva great way to kick it off with you and charlie and a cut out. Thank you for such an awesome video i hope you both have a great week
Happy Birthday Natalie! May your special day be filled with the blessings for God and may your day be filled with joy! I hope you have a great week as well, God's peace. Mr. Ed
Each colony has its own temperament. I have one super-nice one and one that is extremely defensive, to the point they will actually come find you, 50 feet away, and sting you. Most of my other hives are somewhere between the two, with most of them being fairly gentle. That said, I will be replacing the queen in the mean hive with a queen from the super-nice one. Beekeeping is supposed to be a fun activity, not a battle...
Yes it did, and the bees quickly secured it to the frames. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my over 600 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Rachael. Mr. Ed
Yes, orientation does matter. When the comb is removed it has to be place in the frame with the top of the comb to the top of the frame. I keep all the comb in the ice chests pointed in the same direction so I will always know what is top and what is bottom. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace. Mr. Ed
We certainly could have used Ralph's help on this one, but that could be said of every removal Charlie and I do by ourselves. Thanks for watching. God's peace Byran. Mr. Ed
I knew if I did not say something in the video, I would have been flooded with comments about them. @JeffHorchoff I greatly appreciate all you do, Mr. Ed, it's all very educational and helpful for me. Thanks a TON Brother, and may GOD continue to bless you and yours.......🙏🏾🤝🏾🇺🇸💪🏾🫡
@@JeffHorchoff No I’m off for a couple of days. Need to OA vape and I will be helping a friend to get their Apiary ready for 2 Nuc’s they pick up this weekend. Thx for the blessing. Another great video. You and Charlie should make a post video of a removal where you get lunch, call is “Diner Time”. 🤣👍👍👍
Thank you for a great video, love it. I am cutting out a housewith 3 hives in it .2 of the hives were calm, but that 3rd hive wanted to eat us up.we are in Tylertown .Next time you'll are in the area call I will go help.
I know it's longer videos but we really enjoyed the whole process of your work. The longer versions were better viewings. But we realize why you shortened them.
i was about to type a comment about Africanized bees i love the fact you always answer my questions before i can i finish my comments haha i love the videos! keep up the good work
DIY bee repellent: a mix of 1 oz. tea tree oil, 1 oz. almond extract and about 6 oz. rubbing alcohol. I sprayed it on a home made fume board and it worked like a charm clearing the bees out in just 3-4 minutes.
Thank so much for the mixture, you can bet I will be mixing up and testing it real soon. Who knows, there may even be a video in it. Thanks again for that and for watching. Also, I hope you will check out more of my over 600 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. Charlie and I meet at our bee club about 8 years ago and have been wrangling bees ever since. What a great friend he is! Thanks for watching. God's peace Bernard. Mr. Ed
Dang, if those bees aren't Africanized, I'd hate to see ones that were!!! That hive was ginormous! You should get quite a bit of honey and wax from that hive. If there isn't a queen in there I hope they start making queen cells to create one right away. Even though it'll be a LOT of work, given the precarious state of our bees it's such a blessing to have so many thriving hives. If you decide to cut back on your hive numbers after the harvest, you can spread that wealth and love out to other private bee keepers in the area so that the expansion continues. You boys have a special thing going and a wonderful partnership. Your friendship is perhaps the biggest blessing of all. It creates joy for you both, and on top of that you use your friendship to collaborate to make a difference in the world. I really appreciate what you're doing for the bees and for all us who want to learn and expand the work of fostering our pollinators. Many thanks.
Despite the disclaimers made, there's actually no way to determine whether or not they are Africanized with any certainty outside of lab analysis. This is emphasized in many manuals and by various beekeeping associations, etc. Genetic testing or morphometric analysis of the wings are the standards, but access to that testing is another matter.
Well, there's no doubt in my mind that without their bee suits those men would have been stung to death had they stayed anywhere near that hive for any length of time. Personally, I wouldn't be interested in having those particular bees' genetics in my apiary. Too agressive.
Carole, thank you very much for your kind words about the work and friendship between Charlie and myself, we both feed off each other in the relationship. I knew there would be much discussion on the attitude of these bees, and regardless of what other viewers may say or think, and I do respect their opinions, these bees were NOT Africanized. The issue these bees had was they were queen less and as such, they were in stress. Now that the colony is queen right, I gave them a new queen, their attitude has reversed 180 degrees. Like the saying goes, you can't judge a book by it's cover. Again, thank you for your kind words and for all the time you spend following along with Charlie's and my bee wrangling adventures. Until the next one, God's peace. Mr. Ed
@@JeffHorchoff So biologists who work with bee populations are wrong on that topic? I don’t doubt that they were stressed by their circumstances and that was the primary driver of their behavior, but that doesn’t mean that their genetics and degree of behavioral response are identical to a hundred years ago. Maybe this topic gets a lot more discussion and lectures in Arizona.
@@carolewarner101 But it is their genetics that may save the Bee community from SHB and mites. Feral hives should not be able to get that size if they had problems with those pests. It was sad to see so many drones that would never get the opportunity to spread those particular genetics.
And yet even in the aggressiveness of nature, there is still beauty to behold if we do not allow fear to restrain us from seeing it. I post these videos, to show just how important bees are to our very survival, and why we should not just kill them out of ignorance. I have been rescuing bees from being needlessly destroyed for over 14 years now, and hope to continue to do so for many more years to come. @@JeffHorchoff Of course, bees are the real farmers, but they are insects and are very different from us. It's clear you are a devoted and courageous steward. I was just trying to emphasize on the _exponential_ (aggregation/growth) of the bees; and much of what nature does. It aggregates.
Thankfully we don't run across very many with this disposition. However, once we got them up to the abbey and gave them a new queen, their attitude has done a 180, they really are nice. Thanks for watching. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
I think of all the past videos. I don't believe I've seen aggressive hives like this one. Had to laugh. You both took it stride with no worries and reassured everyone that they were not Africanized. Later, you and Charlie are assembling the frames with no gear on . 😂 Great video. Let us know how you make out with the queen.
I thought the general consensus is at this point all bees that are far 12:03 south are part Africanized. The genetics are part of the 'backround radiation' if you will. Sometimes the over aggressiveness presents itself more than others depending on the genetic lottery.
I found your channel because my Mom has a colony of bees that moved in and we're doing a trap out because there's no way to get to where the actual hive is. Seems to be going well. The funnel has been in place for 5 days now. No more bees are coming out of the funnel and they are going in and out of the trap box 2 feet away like it was always their home. Hope we can get the queen in the box too. 🙏
Congratulations on the successful trap out, it is not the easiest way to do a removal but very effective when the hive is inaccessible. Let me know if the queen came out. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace. Mr. Ed
Honey Bandit is an all-natural product and is likely harmless at room temperature. But what happens to the compound when it's heated in a high-temperature smoker? Does it remain harmless to breathe?
Adding the Honey Bandit to the smoker is a trick most bee removal folks know about, the smoke penetrates where the liquid can't get making for a very effective tool in running bees from inaccessible areas. Regardless of cold or hot, you don't want to breath the vapor it brings tears to your eyes right away. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. Looks like that hive has been there a while by looking at the comb inside it and the dark color of it . Wonder how much honey is actually in the hive or if it is all brood Mr. Ed

As would be expected, the bees are somewhat agitated when released, but surprisingly not to bad, and it takes only minutes till the bees are mostly inside the new bee box. Though I did not show the release of the bees on this video, I do show it quite often. A good example can be seen on the video I release tomorrow, and every Friday I post another video so please check them our or one of the over 650 other videos I have posted. Looking forward to hearing from you again. God's peace Meg. Mr. Ed
Bee can not stand a camera for some reason, and they had Charlie on the run while the hive was being opened. Thank you for your blessings and for watching. God's peace Sherry. Mr. Ed
@@JeffHorchoff yes I've noticed they sometimes don't like the camera. My suspicion is that they are up to no good on such occasions. Sometimes I can film right by the entrance for ages, other times they chase me off every time I turn it on. I can stand and watch no worries, but turned the camera on and the guards are out within 20 seconds to harass me. Turn it off and walk away till I see them return home, and I can walk straight back and watch no worries until I turn it back on.
Like I said; by the ton 0R by the yard/mile. That was a DANDY and Ralph would've been VERY handy but you 2 guys did well for yourselves! Jesus weekend and God Bless Yall!
I love removing bees in the latter part of winter just as the bees are starting to build up. Fewest number of bees and least amount of honey in the hive. Plus, they build up super fast and have proven to be the best survivors of a hive removal. Thanks for watching. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
Would it be helpful to spray repellent into that attic space before opening the major section of the wall to keep them from migrating up there at all, or would it make things more difficult?
Until the hive is completely exposed I can not assess the situation and make a determination on how I should proceed to remove the hive. As I did not know with certainty how this home was built, removing the siding and exposing the bees was the only way to make that determination. Thank you so much for becoming a member to my channel, your additional support, other than simply watching my videos, is very much appreciated. Thank you Clifford, God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
Would one or two preventative spritz's of the honey bandit up in the attic keep them from wanting to run up in there during the removal? I typed too quick, shortly after, you did just that. :)

They are known as file bands. Used for keeping control of the contents of file folders. No size is listed. But before stretching they are about 6 inches or so in diameter. If the Bee community starts using them, the demand for a size may become known to the makers of the bands.
They are 7 X 1/8 inch rubber bands that I buy from Amazon. The come in a box of 200 and cost about 12 bucks. I'm going to call you Russ, we just got a new toy and I want to tell you all about it. Thank you for your blessings and support. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
Mr. Ed
“This is definitely not making them happy” is the greatest understatement I’ve ever heard!!!,

This is more how I remember bees in earlier videos from Mississippi and Louisiana being. Wet bees are dead bees, cold bees are pissed off.

The world needs more Charlie. What a friend indeed. Thanks for making our week with your video.
For real, none of my friends would stand in the middle of that.

That hive was massive. Goes to show you what hard workers bees are. They just keep on working no matter what’s going on in the world. I love it!
The way you rubber band your frames is very smart and it makes a lot of sense. Thank you.
By using the larger rubber band it makes the job so much easier to do. Thanks for watching. God's peace brother.

Was this your biggest hive removal? If not I would love a link to it. I hope poor Charlie got a free lunch after that. 😅
Good morning, Mr. Ed. Looks like another massive hive. Great to see another wonderful video.
It seems Charlie and I are having a lot of large removals right now, mI certainly hope it is not a future trend. After all, me and Charlie are old. Glad to hear you enjoyed the video, thank you for watching. God's peace brother.

Thanks Jeff and Charlie. I get good ideas from you. I’ve just got 7 or 8 hives. But last year I got over 700 lbs of honey-wow that was a lot of work. I can’t imagine 6000 pounds. God bless you both. 😅

Wow! Jeff and Charlie, that's an incredible, massive hive! Truly unbelievable!!

You boys make the best bee content! What a pair 😊
I just saw a video from Africa where they are using beehives to keep elephants at bay (and safe from human settlements) which is a win for nature.

6:29 -- My goodness, those bees were angry.

A real bee wrangler for sure! I'll call soon Jeremy and catch up. God's peace brother.

The bees really got after Charlie 🤣 and that comb really framed up nice. ❤
Actually, the bees got the camera, luckily, Charlie escaped the onslaught. Yes, the comb did frame up very nicely, and that has a lot to do with the yellow measuring board I use.

Like you, these bees were given a new queen, and the temperament has already changed. Thanks for watching. God's peace Gordon.

Just curious. Does orientation of the comb matter? What would happen if you installed it sideways in a frame.
For the capped brood I don't think it would matter much, but the honey would start leaking out.
Mr.
The aggregation of nature is mindblowing 🤯Just gets faster and faster the closer you look.
Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace.

@@JeffHorchoff Of course, bees are the real farmers, but they are insects and are very different from us. It's clear you are a devoted and courageous steward. I was just trying to emphasize on the _exponential_ (aggregation/growth) of the bees; and much of what nature does. It aggregates.
oh lord, after all the vids with polite bees you usually have... what a difference this made!
Thankfully we don't run across very many with this disposition. However, once we got them up to the abbey and gave them a new queen, their attitude has done a 180, they really are nice. Thanks for watching. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
Big up yourself Mr Jeff and your good friend Charlie Watching you from Jamaica 👍
So cool to have you following along, thank you very much for doing that for us.
I did have to re queen these bees and they are much more calmer. Thanks for watching. God's peace Jim.
Mr. Ed
Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
When you’re glad you wore that suit ❤❤
Yes indeed! Thanks for watching, and until the next one, God's peace Michelle.
Mr.

By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace William.
Mr. Ed
Just settling down with a cuppa to watch you and those angry bees. Looking forward to it. 😊
This video was so long you probably needed a refill to watch the entire video, I hope you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching. God's peace Mary.
Mr. Ed
Great job guys. Loved watching. Keep us updated, please
Looks like that hive has been there a while by looking at the comb inside it and the dark color of it . Wonder how much honey is actually in the hive or if it is all brood Mr. Ed
I removed about 8 or 9 pounds of bees and got almost 5 gallons of honey from these girls. What an awesome hive! Thanks for watching. God's peace James.
Mr. Ed
As big as that hive is they should be making honey for you this year !!!
I'm thinking the exact same thing, and since the bees filled 2 boxes, there is a very good chance it will happen. Thanks for watching. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
Thats an awesome video, first time watcher, can't wait to get a call like that someday. Getting ready to head to the homestead in two days. Getting ready to retire from the military and looking very forward to it. Come check out the house build!!!!
Delighted to have you watching my bee wrangling adventures, and thank you very much for your service to our country. I wish you all the best on the next stage of your live, and I will be following along with the build as I subbed to your channel. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. Mr. Ed
Thanks!
Oh Krissa Ann thank you VERY much, that is so generous and kind of you. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
A huge hive. How do the bees that have been vacuumed behave when they’re released? Do they find their way into the new hive?
As would be expected, the bees are somewhat agitated when released, but surprisingly not to bad, and it takes only minutes till the bees are mostly inside the new bee box. Though I did not show the release of the bees on this video, I do show it quite often. A good example can be seen on the video I release tomorrow, and every Friday I post another video so please check them our or one of the over 650 other videos I have posted. Looking forward to hearing from you again. God's peace Meg.
Mr. Ed
Since the season is beginning, there is less need toframe honey stores via extant comb?
That is my way of thinking for right now. If the nectar is out there in abundance, they will find it and bring it in. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
I have never seen them attack good time Charlie and you so bad that's a big big hive. Good luck to yall and God bless glad to see yall back on.❤
Bee can not stand a camera for some reason, and they had Charlie on the run while the hive was being opened.
Awesome… here in the UK they are still hunkered down but the removals have started.
Mr. Ed
If they didn't have a laying queen, would that explain why they were so aggressive when you opened the wall?
That is what I think was going on, it explains their initial behavior. Thanks for watching. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
Would one or two preventative spritz's of the honey bandit up in the attic keep them from wanting to run up in there during the removal? I typed too quick, shortly after, you did just that. :)
The stuff really does a great job at running bees and keeping them from spaces I don't want them to go into. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Joseph.
Mr. Ed
Mr. Ed. What size rubber bands do you use ?? And where do you get them?? Thanks
Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Eddie.
Mr. Ed
Enjoyed the video! A suggestion: A microphone would really enhance the audio quality and make your awesome humor even more enjoyable. Keep up the great work! 👍🎤
Awesome Hive , so far think its the biggest one I have seen you harvest so far ,
Thank you
I have already come across some large hives this year and the year is still young, stay tuned for possibly larger ones. Thanks so much for watching. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
Do you have multiple vacuums or different sized ones for larger hives like this?
I have 2 vac with me at all times, and when one gets enough bees in it, I start using the other so as not to overcrowd them. Thanks for watching. God's peace Chrissy.
Mr. Ed
By the time Charlie sayd "jea they mad" i was already holding my breath. 😂
Excellent cutout guys. Sounds like there is going to be a big honey crop. Looking forward to some heavy lifting. Your hive lifter will get a workout. Let me know when. God Bless gents!
I'm going to call you Russ, we just got a new toy and I want to tell you all about it. Thank you for your blessings and support. God's peace brother.
