@Tristan That's a perfect example, except instead of your own presentation, you have to present someone else's.
No lawyer takes a case without familiarizing themselves with what they're up against. This guy got blinded by money and the big stage spotlight and decided to take a case he very likely would not have if it were for some everyday shlub. Also, most lawyers probably come from money anyway so it's not like this guy didn't likely grow up way more comfortably than most of us did. He's learning a life lesson right now, that's all.

You can tell in his body language sitting next to Amber in court that he could not stand her. I'm sure he's glad the trial is almost over and so will their interactions with her as a client.
Remember when Amber was pretending to write on a post it and he was sitting next to her? He was shaking his head! 😂😂😂😂
The lawyer sounds completely unsure, lacking any confidence in what he's saying. I think he knows quite well he's on the wrong side and is audibly shaking with discomfort because they have nothing

At this point no one can convince me that these lawyers don't know they're defending a guilty woman and are trying every little way to mess it up so she losses the case. No way she spent money and those 500 lawyers be moving like they're in first year.
I don't think they are trying to mess it up, I just think they have almost nothing to work with. From what I've seen, it looks as if their only strategy is to make Johnny angry and get some reaction out of him so they have something to build their case on. Which is why they object to nearly every sentence he says, talk over him, and often ask their questions in a clearly malicious and condescending way. It's obviously not working.
That’s a fair point.
To be fair, its probably hard as heck to defend someone who has dug themselves as deep as Amber has

its not so stressful if you not promise that she will get out of it. if you as a lawyer say "oh man miss heard we have a low chance to win this case" then there is no problem at all and no stress but most likely those lawyers promised her to win to get some juicy money out of it.

Well, but presenting prof in the court like this is illegal isn't it? All the stuff should be shown to the lawyers before to be valid as far as I know. Her lawyer objecting to his own question is so in sync with Amber, after defaming Johnny, crying to him for help to save her credibility/career. They're unbelievable. Her lawyers waste time by objecting to hear-say, approaching the bench, shuffling through papers in silence, but they tell Johnny not to "waste the court's time" by him answering their same questions over and over. Really pathetic.
Great point and observation! Thier case is weak. They are desperate to make Johnny look bad
Having Johnny answer the questions over and over again is an attempt to catch someone going against what they just previously testified to. This is a textbook approach that's pretty standard among all lawyers.
