Switching out the blanket ladder for the shelving unit and having the plant on the other side of the tv, along with the picture rail made a huge difference and balanced out the whole side of the room. Love the new curtain color added in.
My wife and I loved this video! (New subscribers now too! Haha Hey, just be aware when buying and using lumber that when they dry they can ‘cup’ especially when the rings are right down the middle like your side table. It’s recommended that you set it aside and let us dry out for at least a week (depending on the humidity level in your area) with clamps or weight on the piece to keep it straight while it dries out. Just a thought, keep making videos we love your ideas!
The broken candle is a vibe though😂yay for Brian and his shorts being safe from prying eyes loool Never knew plates needed a lid until now😯I'm amazed at how you can make your visions come to life. The mockup was great but the refresh was even better. Love all the changes you made, especially the black shelves, side table and windows. Great job, Tina!
Tina , not only does it look beautiful but it looks more designed. Before I couldn't tell you lived there. Now I can see You and you've made huge strides in design, I've loved watching you grow since you left Chicago. Love y'all!♥️
10/10. I high key wish you could design a couple rooms in my house. Definitely would love to see more refreshes. Watching you has given me the motivation/ confidence to take on some DIY projects. Keep up the great work
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING, TINA🤩 I LOVE THE TABLE THAT YOU MADE, I LOVE THE ART PIECE ABOVE THE TV.. I LOVE THE NEW OVAL SHELVING UNIT, THE WINDOWS GETTING REDONE IN THE BLACK... AND ALL THE BEAUTIFUL COLOR THAT YOU HAVE BROUGHT TO YOUR LIVING ROOM.... SO INCREDIBLE 🤩 WELL DONE TINA....
I love all the upgrades, the room looks amazing! Also it's pretty much a staple of your videos now that Brian is going to show up with his blue tee shirt at some point and help you open a big box, I love it.🧡🤎💛
I love those shelves you keep making! You should look into countersinking your screws so they can sit below the surface of the wood for a smoother surface to lay against your wall. Plus if you ever have a project where you need screws on the front facing sides, you can put wood plugs into the countersink holes to mask the screws too
I ABSOLUTELY love the living room update!! It’s SO MUCH more personal and cozy now!! Like you said… it was at least I think I remember you saying… that it was kinda minimal before… I absolutely love the picture ledge!! I definitely want to make/get my neighbor to make one or more of those!! I have a “gallery wall” in my living room right now… but I’d also love a picture ledge… cuz I have so many pictures 😂
I love that your makeovers have personality. I think it's easy for people to try and just stick to a trend and make their home look like a magazine but then they lose the functionality and home-y aspect of it and it just becomes sterile and lifeless. but yours are always beautiful AND realistic and practical. Love the updates to your space! Also vote that once you're all done with your space you should frame brians blue painting shirt and make it decor lol
Oh, I appreciate this SO much!! I when we first made over the home, I just wanted it to have a good base and now that I do, it's so much fun adding more of my personality to them and bringing it to life! 😍
Absolutely stunning refresh Tina 😍 I love your side table very much too...Brian's antics are hilarious and you two are so sweet..All the best from a very windy wet UK
That dark line on the ceiling just above the curtains drove me CRAZY when you didn't address it in the original living room makeover!!! DETAIL IS EVERYTHING!
Love it! I'm always amazed when you think all is well in a newly renovated/ decorated space and then this. Nice job. I'm going to make the picture ledges!
Loving the side table! Also, everything came out great! The arched shelf is so you and was a perfect addition to the space! Can't wait for holiday content!
Looks really good! The next time you want to change your front windows, you might want to check out a window tint. You can see out but no one can see in. Privacy but still getting light into your home. Plus it should help a little with keeping cooler in the summer and a little warmer in the winter months. Just a suggestion 🤷🏼♀️
Hey guys!!!! great job! I wanted to say that I love all your videos, and you are my all-time favorite UA-camr! Thank you sooo much for inspiring me to make so many more crafts and DIYs. Thanks!!!! :)
The refresh is so beautiful. Very well put together. I love how the different color of wood, curtains, pillows, and the black shelf and windows work well together.
Hi Tina! 🙋🏻♀️🇺🇲🦃🌻 Happy Thanksgiving!!! Another slam dunk for Tina!!! 💖✨ Your Living Room looks more warm and inviting now. Love the textured floral pillow! Good choice with the arched shelf unit - the metal frame and glass shelves keep the room looking light and spacious. I like the shelf better than a busy collage. Nice balance of art and family photos too! And you made your own side table - Wow! (I think it complements the entry table. 👍) Hugs and Happy Holidays!!! 💖💖💖✨🦃🎄👫🏻🎉
Tina you look so dang cute in your work shop. Stumbled across your channel when y’all were living in LA and have watched you evolve into this lil diy maniac ❤❤. Love you and Brian (fun seeing him in the videos he’s adorable) look forward to each new project you tackle. Your home is so fitting for y’all how you’ve styled it. See ya on the next video 🥰🥰😋🥰
Beautiful 😍 it's incredible how simple changes can transform or upgrade any room in our house, as always I enjoy soo much your videos and your creativity 💪💪💪😘
I did the same thing with the curtains in my bedroom ( same color) I was worried at first that it would look like poop but I’m so glad I did it is so warm and earthy
It looks really good - one thing I would add is a second pair of the darker curtains to give a more luxurious look to the windows when the curtains are pulled back..
Looks really nice, use oil and baking soda paste to remove the adhesive on the window. Mix a paste of oil and baking soda, apply to the adhesive wait about 30 minutes then wipe off with a tad bit of elbow grease.
Window tinting /film is a real joy mirror like on outside and can't look in yet you can see out side. This lets you have light and view and do curtains as you want. I love to do a lace on the inside look they have different styles.
You should get privacy filters for your windows so you can open your curtains. No one can see in during the day but at night they can. Let that light in girl!
Would love to see how you would update/improve the entrance pony wall. I have one and I added tall plants in graduated sizes that offer separation but would still like your creative thoughts😁
Now this is us!! ❤ It’s crazy that we’ve been living with that ceiling and I’m so lucky to have you to beautify our home! Love you!
LOL! We def should’ve done it sooner 🙈🙈 And thank you honey, couldn’t do it without ya 🥹💛
I love how Brian always comments on the video been so supportive ❤ couple goals, love your channel and all the work you both do
@@laurafisher6531 Finding Brian's comment is my fav part haha. It's very sweet.
Great Job Guys 💝
You are so, so sweet ♥️
Making pillow covers is a budget way to update a look and the cost is low. I love the refresh.

I just love that new pillow the one with flowers, so pretty and they match your curtains so nicely too.

Hahaha, why is it so hard for candlesticks to stay in place?! 😂😂 And thank you for the love!! I am so happy where it’s at now 👏🏼💛
Tina , not only does it look beautiful but it looks more designed. Before I couldn't tell you lived there. Now I can see You and you've made huge strides in design, I've loved watching you grow since you left Chicago. Love y'all!♥️
Thank you so much! This is seriously such a compliment and your support means the absolute world 💛

That was a beautiful refresh!! I love seeing UA-camrs doing a refresh! Are you going to show your refresh in your entryway? 🥰
It’s beautiful. I love the cinnamon-color curtains and pillows, but the entire room, honestly.
Much more alive looking! I love the flowery pillow. Put the steing if bananas plant in a terrace cotta pot, it'll match perfectly.
