I relate so much! Many oversized, shapeless pieces do not flatter feminine figures. Therefore we, more curvy/feminine ones (haha!) need to find creative but still flattering ways to look good and stylish without neglecting our proportions ❤

Yes! A very good trick, too. Back in the 80's, we had coiled metal (coated!!) bracelet-like thingies for that. You can still get them. Once in place, you don't see them, as they are hidden by folds of fabric. It's amazing how showing a bit of forearm has a slimming effect! :-)

For the belts that connect in the back, where do you find them? Do they have a specific name? We are moving to Germany soon from the US. I received a great compliment today, from a soldier that recently came back from Germany. He told me that I would fit in because I dress so European! Could you please suggest coats for our body types during winter? I have a thick yellow parka jacket which definitely keeps me warm in 1-degree Celsius but the downside is that I look like a juicy yellow chicken :D Take care, much love
Juicy yellow chicken, hahah! I love that! :D Parkas and padded coats and puffers are great for winter but of course since they are already bulky I would say length and showing off your waist is key! Go for a longer one with clean outer lines and use a leather belt to cinch at your waist!
