Hey brother man! Two questions: 1) How much does this whole setup weigh, about? 2) How much did you invest in this whole luggage/rack/box setup? I want to take my T120 offroad onto some longer dirt roads like the White Rim Trail at Canyonlands Nt'l Park, and to travel with my wife where lockable luggage would be a plus.
michel vaillancourt maybe Tiny did ok fitting these boxes,,but look at them!!! For starters sooner or later he will catch his knee on the pannier when getting on the bike, then there,s the cost!!! I hate to think how much but suspect over a $1000.Then safety,, if he has a little fall, nothing special, he stands a good chance of trapping his foot underneath (ask me how I know!!)Really just look at them, they do not suit this t120 at all...they make me ill just looking , it did,nt have to be this way,,I would have advised to get some Lomo panniers ,about $60,nothing fancy but look ok...Well thats my opinion and I,m sticking to it!!!!!
Share a good link to the Lomos, I'd like to see them! I like the versatility here as I can switch these over to my Scrambler (already had the racks for it) whenever I want. Around town, I won't have the panniers on at all, so the bike is quite a bit more aesthetically pleasing most of the time. :D
For what it worth !! my advice would be to sell those boxes!! Do,nt think about putting them on a Sram (thats just sacrilege) Why do I have such a downer on metal box panniers? Well I think they look crap on big GS,s when they have never been offroad, you can tell cos they are always so nice and shinny, they look ok when grimy and a few exotic stickers on.. O my I do talk crap sometimes,,, Well Lomo ua-cam.com/video/9iVyYOtZz5w/v-deo.html
Great video thanks
What litre are those Max Pannier Boxes? 22, 31, 38 or 45? And is the Max Top Box a 22 or 32 Litre?
I’d put the spacer back on it lets the shock pivot slightly. Good install video

To each his own! Love soft panniers and the Lomos look the part, but for touring, I prefer lockable storage... hence the Metal Mules.
What is the back rest on that T120?
OEM actually. Not my style, but looked like a good option for those that ride two up. Easy to remove when not needed.
man that looks like a lot weight to have on that small bike. plus your weight.
It's no secret, I like to eat.
