Welcome back, Mark! You have a great credit card setup for this quarter! I would probably rank it a 10/10. There is nothing wrong with using your Marriott card for gas purchases if you want to build up more Marriott points. Prior to this quarter, I was using my IHG Premier card at gas stations for a little while. This quarter, I'm using my Discover card at gas stations, my Chase Freedom Flex at restaurants and Amazon, the C1 SavorOne card for groceries and the U.S. Bank Cash+ card for my cable/internet bill and utility bills. For my catch all purchases, I'm alternating between my Chase Freedom Unlimited card and my Hilton Honors card.
As a very frequent UA international flyer since Covid went away, this card was the best fit for my situation over the Club Infinite. SUB was 70k + 500 PQPs. Funny, I’m on my way to the airport now, and once this 14 hr trans-Atlantic segment lands, I’ll have the PQPs for platinum. With the multipliers from the card purchases & flying, I can earn close to 50k miles per round trip. I’m accumulating the miles for a fall trip from Japan to do some WW2 historical exploring on a couple of Pacific Islands that United flies to out of Tokyo.
I can easily fly with United out of Jacksonville or Orlando. I know they're not hubs, but they have a lot of flights from these places. Also, I fly on other star alliance airlines for the places I go to.

If you have Titanium Status with Marriot you get complimentary Silver status with United. Another route to earn status with them.
