This song must be played at my funeral. I mean good God this is the best song I have ever heard in my life - ever! My FAV DMB song!!
👏👏👏👏👏🇧🇷
A happy song/vibe put out i feel About this particular cut .😊
If i could only listen to one song for the rest of my life, #41 would be that song, i love you dmb #dmbfamily
So glad this was never a single released to the masses. I’d be afraid to start disliking it. This song is the best
I remember when I listened to the CD and heard this song for the first time.
Was blown away by it !
This is definitely one of Dave's best songs. Whenever I introduce this song to friends that have never heard it, they too are like Wow !!
One of the many things I can be truly be endlessly thankful for is the opportunity to finally see DMB live WAY back in '95 at Red Rocks with a cpl of my best friends and to hear the first cpl of notes of this song break out,...I lost my shit a lil bit ! :-) !...it was just fantastic ! back with Leroi and all the OG crew DELIVERING . God damn that was a killer f'n show... a few years later I was floored to see they released it on a live album, one of the few shows I've ever been to where I was able to go buy a professional live recorded album of the show...one of my desert island picks to be sure.
Always my number 1 song not certain why .
I really miss the long Leroi sax solo's .... Now Rashawn and Jeff Coffin are playing something they worked out together .... Still one of my favorite songs ever.
Seeing this song Live , with Boyd and dem horns!! man... words can't even begin to describe the emotions. Best live song EVER! Feel so blessed to have seen this...
This song speaks.
Tim Reynolds on that solo good god! My fav DNB song!!!
You know DMB is still amazing when #41 is the warm up.
muito som, muita garra e muito de +++ essa Dave matthews. curto muito essa banda excepcional parabéns... sucesso sempre...
Saw DMB 3 times this year and every show was great! Keep,on jamming Dave. See you in 17
Finally, my favorite song ever.
I use to work next door to Jeff Coffins high school in the Lilac City.
Goddam. Great version of that song. Loved every second of it.
This will be forever your song Sharon, YOU will be in my heart and my mind until we meet again somewhere, someday, somehow, I will find you in the next life to hold you tight and never to let you go again !! LvY canija !
Love this band
God, I love the sound of that snare drum! Carter, you are really the best man!!
2021 summer tour for year 30 is gonna be one of the most epic of all time, for sure seeing at least 5 shows, hopefully 7!
That slow part at the end........ MELTED
MY FACE!!!!!!!!! 😱😱😱😱😱😱
Great show. What a night!! Thanks DMB!
Oh yeah!! #41 Come And See.
Come and see
I swear by now I'm playing time
Against my troubles
I'm coming slow but speeding
Do you wish a dance and while I'm
In the front
The play on time is won
But the difficulty is coming here
I will go in this way
And find my own way out
I won't tell you to be here
But it's coming to much more
Me
Come down, the ghosts come back
Reeling in you now
Oh, what if they came down, crushing?
In a way I used to pray for
All of the loneliness that nobody
Notices now
I'm begging slow, I'm coming here
Only waiting, I wanted to stay
I wanted to play
I wanted to love you
I'm only this far
And only tomorrow leads the way
I'm coming waltzing back and moving into your head
Please, I wouldn't pass this by
Oh, I wouldn't take any more than
What sort of man goes by
I will bring water
Why won't you ever be glad?
It melts into wonder
I came in praying for you
Why won't you run
Into the rain and play?
And let tears splash all over you
good god, that was epic, amazing dave and the gang, love it!
Lo Máximo! enamorada de su música!
LeRoi and Jeff are like Monet and Pollock. Both phenomenal artists whose definitions of art and beauty were completely different. LeRoi was neat, Jeff is messy. LeRoi was traditional jazz, Jeff is avant-garde. Both are two of the greatest sax men we’ve ever had the privilege to listen to.
👏👏👏👏👏🇧🇷
Please come to Australia again😊
I love this outro! Anyone who knows where to find tabs for it? Epic musicianship!
I really love the outro and I think it mostly goes unnoticed.
thank you for uploading this. i never could afford to go to concerts but it's so nice to hear how alive a song can feel.
what i love most about this song is, it feels like it's saying so much i don't completely get yet. but i always feel like i understand just a little more when i listen to it.
Please upload also the video One Sweet World live at Du Arena, Abu Dhabi!
Bring back Boyd!!
what a snare drum Cartet
I wish Jeff Coffin would have also played a flute solo on this #, much like LeRoi did! 😉👌🤟🎷
A Jam no final é aquela música do Kid Creole And Coconuts "Im Wonderful Thing" ??? Se não é, parece muito!!! hahahaha
Haven't seen Dave in a t shirt but I think he should wear it more often
did you realize it was florida? I got go it was about 95 and very humid
Anyone.. tabs for the outro??? On guitar?
WHERES THE BASSISTS SPOTLIGHT
Biscuit :)
Yeet
Please, song title
Oh, you’re new here… lol it’s called, “#41”
gumbo
Dave just can't hit those notes anymore, and with Jeff there it just makes it worse. Still one of the best songs ever written
#41 climaxes with the tenor sax solo. Not the same without it and could really do with less Tim (that’s right I said it!)
I disagree. Tim was more than adequate here.
I wonder if Tim remembers that solos should be done in the same key as everyone plays in...replace him
you must be kidding???...I take it your not a musician? obviously
So what key was he in?
Never been a fan of the coordinated horn stuff. Wish both Coffin and Reshawn would solo more. And wish Tim only accented Dave’s guitar. Bring back butch lol.
That sax in the beginning just doesnt even sound right anymore or have the same passion behind it... and that makes me sad..
I dont like the new sax player
