Thank you for this video. It is very helpful. I live in zone 7b. The last two years my tomato plant choices have not been successful in my 22" containers. I will definitely try your suggestions this year - Roma, Husky Cherry and Early Girl. These are varieties I have not tried before.
@@bellesbackyard3264 i just expanded my gardens this year so I added some to my garden plan this year! This will be my first year growing them. My dad is part of the horticultural club in my area and gave me some seeds. Apparently the Redata are harder to find seeds for but perform the best of the san marzano's. I'm going to try to save seeds from them this year 🤞🏼
@@bellesbackyard3264 I'm growing 85 different varieties of tomatoes mostly indeterminate heirloom or open pollinated but also some hybrids like better boy, big beef, chef's choice orange, lemon boy and jubilee also a few determinate's dwarfs and micro dwarfs all sizes cherry, plums, paste and beefsteak.
Thank you for the great information.

Jet setter is the sweetest with on core !!
I have some time and space. I’ll see if I can find it. Thanks!
Roma is by far is the best of all the plum tomatoes, I have tried them all. Super sweet 100 is also by far the best.
How about redata san marzano? Have you tried those?
@DebRoo11 Not in years. But I’ll give it a try! I have a few spaces in the garden left. Do you have any in the ground this year?

Celebrity is a good tomato to try also, and it is semi-determinate. (doesn't get to big)
This is total BS....
Better boy is indeterminate.
Your right I miss spoke. .
@@bellesbackyard3264 I single vine prune and doing that to a determinate tomato wouldn't turn out so well lol.
Yep. That wouldn’t he so good lol. What do you plant?
