      That’s not true… It’s just that people use delivery services for their convenience. When in reality these services were designed for people with money. So if you’re not receiving good tips get out of low income areas and go out into the suburbs where there’s million dollar houses and I promise you you will make tips…. There are some of us that make 1000+ a week doing just gig work…

    I hear you man. Jobs used to be dignified when you earned a living wage and were treated with some respect. I work a corporate job and it's just as toxic, paying people pennies while working them the role of 3 people while only paying for a single person's salary. It's madness what we've allowed to go on. It used to be that a clerk at a grocery store could make enough money to buy a home, car, and raise a few kids while his wife stayed at home. Companies don't even try to hide their disdain for their employees and their uncontrollable greed anymore.

      @ChosenLondon  3 місяці тому +3

    This is what I did. I joined the military did four years. Got out and got a VA Loan 0 down and brought a house. I used my GI bill and went to school full time which pays me $2500 a month to go to school. I worked full time and stayed in school and make 5,500 a month with the GI bill included . The house built equity so I’m using the equity to buy another home. Once you get your degree or trade use that to make more money. Plus you learn a trade in the military and it looks great on your resume. I join the Air Force which is a cake walk. Good luck on your journey and keep pushing 💪🏽

    Hey bro. I’m 28 married and have a kid too. I started working for USPS at 21 as a mail carrier. I stuck it out long term and now i’m a maintenance supervisor making $91k a year or $45/hr. You get retirement, 3 raises a year, union protection, unlimited overtime and great health insurance. My wife does the same job as me as well. I just put on 2 of my friends to apply. Apply for maintenance mechanic, take the 955 test and pass, and your starting pay will be $30/hr with unlimited OT. Maintenance mechanics with overtime take home $3500 every 2 weeks after taxes. Hey- UA-cam suggested your video to me. I was in your shoes almost a decade ago, working 3 jobs, sleeping in my car. Reading some of these comments makes my heart hurt. It's not weak for a man to share how he's feeling; it's super frustrating to feel like you're busting your butt and still barely keeping your head above water. Just because he's being vulnerable doesn't mean he doesn't have "pride" or isn't a "man". In fact, I think it is one of the truest markers of a man to be able to be genuine in how he is struggling. Bro is going through a rough time but is still trying his best. That's all any of us can do, right?

    It’s honorable that u are working ur ass off to provide for your family .
    Like many others have said tip expectation has gotten out of control. What ur doing is based on tips for sure and either Amazon should compensate to better hourly rate if not getting appropriate tips or just bill automatic gratuity.
    I think what many have a problem with is tip expectation and pushing for it everywhere. It’s getting crazy. Tips for delivery, amazing work in my home , restaurant server , bar tending , taxi / Uber ect makes sense …..tips for a cashier at chipotle, tips at subway …..hell tips and a damn circle k is insane .
    It’s everywhere and it’s hurting those who work jobs that classically get tips .

    • @ChosenLondon
      @ChosenLondon  3 місяці тому

      I say this to people all the time. Companies that sever coffee and basic services all asking for tips especially during this economic crisis just made it worse for people who actually survive from the tips. Sad situation. I made a video about tips.

Now, my wife is planning to retire at 37 and I will be transitioning into civilian medicine. If you listen and he’s letting you know what life is like for a normal person he didn’t say he’s mad about anything stop trying to go against the people that look like you have more understanding and try to help find the solution. That’s the problem with black men now just lost and want to debate about everything

      @jkrystal11 you make a really great point and that’s why one of my missions is to help change our community and culture. I grew up around blacks fighting and mainly killing each other. Evil in this world are tricking us to fight each other instead of working together because if we do black men and women will be very powerful especially if we have God first. Believe me they don’t ever want to see this day come true. Just know I truly appreciate you and God bless your family and self.

      @@ChosenLondon of course no problem, just learn to trade it may take you a few months to a few years to get it but once you do, no one can take that away from you. As far as Black people go like the Bible says 2/3 will be cut off. That’s a sad reality. Focus on the good Black people. There’s a few out there and focus on your happiness and your family, and God will always make away.

    I respect the hustle and work ethic especially since you're doing it for you and your family. I would recommend you do a less is more approach. Consolidate the 3 jobs into 1 job that has good benefits, decent pay, etc. Then using the time you would have to work a second or third job, I would skill up and find trades/skills that are highly paid: coding, digital marketing, seo, data science. There are so many online resources and courses/certifications (many of which are free) that you can utilize. It won't be easy but the pay off will be tremendous when you are earning a six figure and above salary. You got this! 👍
