@designhub360customapparel 🥱 modern women, and marriage are a thing of the past for men. You're so behind the times. There is a massive movement with men now ignoring women. And it's for a reason🤪
Hey Jim. I'm 52m never married and no kids. Nothing wrong with this. I knew years ago that I'd be biting off more than I could chew with family life so I never pursued it. Instead, I live a very easy, stress-free life.
@@brianmeen2158 Many women today didn't grow up with a father and their mother's taught them resentment against men. Stay away from these females. Nothing good will come from them.
This is just an example of a very decent man living in a very corrupt world. You've done well for yourself brother, and it's good that you're questioning things and beginning to see the truth.
. Hello ! May Allah protect and guide you to his light and happiness in this life and the hereafter, God bless, Ameen. Excuse me for giving a little presentation of Islam, because it is very misunderstood nowadays, especially on those « Antichrist's » times, where media and politics are mixed to distort history and truth. And terrorists (puppets of the Antichrist) who misinterpret verses, out of ignorance and political motivations, and take them out of historical context (just like radical atheists do by the way) don't help either. Thank you very much for your time. First of all, if you have any questions regarding Islam and yourself, just open the Quran randomly, and you will find the answer in front of you, like a miracle and a sign from God.
Islam is an arabic word that means the Surrender to the One and Only God, our Creator, Protector, Provider, who gives us life and all that we have, we are safe and sound by his will and grace, we are His and to Him we return, and we have to thank him in this trial life by submitting to him by our free will, or later in the Day of judgment when it's too late to save our own skin. Islam was the original Religion descended to earth from heaven with Adam and Eve (peace and blessing be upon them) in the beginning of humanity. and was passed to people with the succession of the 124 000 prophets and 315 messengers of God to all nations and civilizations since, passing by Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ismaël, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, David, Solomon and Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon them) during the history of mankind, the last replaces and completes the previous, until the succession of the last messenger of God fourteen centuries ago, Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) to complete the noble morals of all mankind, to bring humans and jinns out of darkness into light, and to purify people's religion and belief from corruption and polytheism, and return it to purity and true monotheism, like it was in the times of the prophets (Peace and blessing be upon them). Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI). Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy. Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful. Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” (1-4 / Translated by ITANI). Allah said in Surah An-Nisa : O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God. Never did the Christ feel too proud to be God's servant, nor do the angels who are near unto Him. And those who feel too proud to serve Him and glory in their arrogance [should know that on Judgment Day] He will gather them all unto Himself: (171-172 / Translated by Muhammad Asad). Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran : Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning! Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures. Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement. It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them. (19-22 / Translated by Muhammad Asad).. God said : Say, “We believe in Allah, and in what was revealed to us, and in what was revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the Patriarchs, and in what was given to Moses and Jesus, and in what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We do not differentiate between any of them. And to Him, we surrender.” (2:136 / Translated by Community) Salam (Peace)
I’m 50 and you’re basically telling my story. I was in the Royal Navy when I was younger. The women I liked didn’t like me and the women I didn’t like, liked me !
"The women I liked didn’t like me and the women I didn’t like, liked me !" I'm 28 and found this also. Would like a partner someday though. Life is funny.
37 here, unmarried, single and childless. I got lost in the hook up culture years ago, and it destroyed me. Whilst I appreciate the idea that men need to "sow their wild oats", I would warn any young man embarking on this lifestyle. S*x is never, ever free. If you don't pay directly, you've merely taken out a debt that can be called in a later date. Furthermore, the women who will let you sleep with them without commitment are generally unstable in some way, and can potentially derail your life if something goes wrong later on.
Uhm, the ''women who let you sleep with them without commitment are generally unstable'' is ridiculous. There's a good number of women who don't want kids or marriage.
You still have time to turn your life around in this regard. If you want of course. As for other things, yes, each lifestyle has consequences, so if someone goes for such lifestyle without frequent change of location where one lives certain repuation will follow sucha guy and it will have specific consequences. As for male lives, males age much more intensly than females do from certain age onwards and as far as I can tell from my life experience later on they have to rely on their wife and kids or even grandkids or on social care sector in which very often perfect strangers do not care much about them really. So it's up to everyone's choice but choice to be be single for life in fact is choosing to be lonely for life, also to be very lonely when one becomes most fragile in life.
I totally didn't expect that! My video was on YT for a few months and hardly a comment. Then boom it took off. Glad it resonated with many people. I am also glad I am not alone in this.
@@jimb3093 Wanted to say, the bible back in the day (at least the old testament) was everything. It was their newspaper, it had different sections, it played many roles in people's lives. Jesus might have been a fictional character or a compilation of many people, but the stories still have meaning. They do not lose their meaning because something is less than 100% true. All of scripted TV is fictional, but it has impacted people's lives. Truth be told, until the modern novel was created in the 1800s, nearly everything was expressed as allegory. That is how they thought. It is only recently that we have made everything to be 100% literal.
30% of men throughout all of human history have passed on their genes, where 80% of women passed down there. This is nothing new, Meny Men throughout history died from disease, war, famine, starvation, or became slaves without even knowing the touch of a woman, let alone being able to have children.
Im a 53 year old, British man. Never married and no kids by choice. I appreciate this video and the comments because it validates this path in life. I just intuitively knew that marriage and kids were not for me. Although I occasionally feel lonely, I enjoy my solo life, look after my health, and maintain healthy friendships where possible. I wish you well and enjoyed your story.
Great 1st UA-cam video... my hat's off to you! What I really like is that you were just being yourself, and sharing your life experiences. I can definitely relate to most of what you were sharing. I'm 65, single, straight, never married, a recovering "nice guy," and I've come to many of the realizations you have. Definitely check-out Southeast Asia. If you haven't traveled there already, I highly recommend spending several weeks exploring Thailand for starters. You can get acquainted with younger Thai women on dating apps before you travel there, then meet your favorites in person once there. It's a great deal of fun to combine travel with dating, especially in Thailand. Then, you can focus on someone special over there. I hope you keep making these videos.
That's so true. And for 'authenticity' it is the highest form of vibration and frequency, higher than that of the 'sun' or 'love'. Look it up. Being authentic is right up there with God, and being at the top is lonely.
Im getting pushed so hard by family member they even find women for me to marry i rejected 6 women already i don’t want to marry literally my cousins aunts sisters my mom grandma all of them hunting on women for me😂
I'm a 43 year old woman. Never married, never had children. The reasons are complex but from a very young age my mom basically made me her therapist. She resented getting married. She regretted not finishing university and she basically pounded the mantra into my head that it was better to remain single and be in total control of your life. The problem is: I realized far too late that I never shared her same outlook on life. I wanted to be the stay at home wife who took care of her husband (and children if that worked out). Instead, I got the university degree she didnt get. I worked in the corporate world. I got the fancy office and titles that she so badly wanted. Me? I hated every minute of it (other than learning new things. I still love learning). I finally burnt out a few years ago and now I'm working on establishing a new career that will give me a better work/life balance. But I am facing a future alone with few friends, no partner, and no children. No one to grow old with. If I could go back in time I would change so many things. Oh yeah, and my mom is 70 and still married to my dad. They seem closer than ever and she no longer complains about him. 🙄
Your comment is very interesting and I'm sure your experience is far more common than you think. As for getting burnt out, I'd imagine your mam sucked your life force out of you when you were a child, We really only have so much and As for being married, you will know that that is not a guarantee of anything especially in this modern age and as for "friends", one or two is more than enough. What you should do, is take a year off & buy a train ticket...
Geesh. I always knew women really didn't want careers. Why? Because nobody does. It's awful. Do things you want to do with your time. You are fortunate not to have procreated, humanity is doomed.
Life is an illusion. You can't win, you are a nice guy they walk all over you, you are hardcore then you are abusive, domineering. Men and women just don't mesh together, marriage is a 100% compromise and a successful marriage all depends on how much you are both willing to compromise. Now a days seems there is zero compromise.
Im 59 now and I always believed that men and women are not designed to coexist dictated by nature herself and the state of affairs between the sexes confirms that mostly. It is simply a procreation existence just like the animal kingdom, we are the only animals that marry and coexist against nature. The nice guy approach is usually taken advantage of by women and men alike because it is mostly viewed as a weakness. I think bust and move is the only safe option with the modern woman. The default state of man is alone, this is why it takes much effort to coexist with women and it isnt natural regardless of what you believe.
Man I was married 9 years, was trying to start a family, but the wheels came off when I found out she had what appeared to be a short term boyfreind, but cheating is still cheating long term or short term!!! Yeah so much for the church and a higher moral ground, my Catholic church going wife was a cheating Hoe, I'm personally not religious at all but I would never consider cheating on my spouse under any condition!!! Now Im 59 and looking for a women in her 30s to start over, it looks like a trip to the Philippines will be neccessary to accomplish these goals😊
I will never give up on being a nice man. I will die on that hill. Stay being a nice man Jim. The alternative just isnt a possibility. You dont have to go around whistling and smiling. Just remember good, nice men save the world and make it a better place.
I think you're confusing being a good man with being nice. You can be polite, courteous, generous, etc. but there are times you have to be firm, direct and even angry. I used to be a 'nice guy' but that was not the man I was meant to be.
and I root and celebrate the everyday man, my step dad was a good stand up responsible hard working guy! (RIP) men such as this never get enough credit and it's a darn shame, I made sure to sing his praises and accolades at his funeral ceremony he deserved all the respect in the world, a real good guy
@@NickAndTech It is women who are confusing it. My mother and father would never tolerate me being disrespectful to anyone. Women conflate being an asshole with someone being an alpha male and desirable. My mother taught me to be a nice man/person. Said it was very important. I still believe it is. The disconnect is when women tell their sons to do this but do not realize that what they are attracted to is the opposite.

Thanks for your story and your interesting thoughts. Chris, 51, Europe, 2kids, divorced, almost ruined. It's this journey that makes you a different person. And you had your own journey too.
I solved all my relationship problems in my mid 40's when I decided to follow celibacy, and amazingly everything just fell into place. My life as a middle aged man blossomed, I didn't realise just how emotionally draining it was trying to please others, but mostly my own desires! Truly, if you conquer lust, attachment and dependency, life is sooooo much more rewarding and you feel a sense of self-sovereignty.
Before I got married randomly last year after manifesting my husband, I did that for about six years…I was celibate and genuinely at peace it was very lovely❤
Hey brother, former veteran here. You are not alone. I am 52. I did 2 tours in Iraqi myself. I have a few physical issues myself, but , I have never been married. I definitely understand where you coming from. I was raised in a Christian home. I've come a long way from foster care. Loneliness creeps in, but at my age now, I love my singleness. My peace.

This is what men need to stop saying to themselves, the issue is with our women and watchiing the Jodys and having to deal with the real lived realities of being a vet, realizing what a joke this country is, feeling like nothing mattered, and having ungrateful party women. In honesty I think a huge part of this is the kind of women that marry military men, a huge number are complete wastes of time. A minority are good Christian women, possibly themselves from foster care, broken homes, troubled backgrounds, who are just grateful for finding someone who understands and loves them. But a huge number of these other girls are level-up girls, party girls. And then there's the PTSD and needing to deal with others and find someone to deal with you. I would urge most men to work on themselves psychologically, spiritually, emotionally, morally, don't rest on your luarels bruise the *shit* out of your ego, trying to shatter my own ego is one of the best things I ever did for myself. Ving Raimes was right, *fuck* pride, fuck your ego. Do this, then go out and find basically someone who isn't culturally American. You can watch all these happy families passing by who are Latin Americans, Muslims, Africans, Indians, and then you look at us. It's our problem. You listen to this guy and it's easy, the secularization of churches, the bullshit of corporate America, the lies about the military, the lies about "making it" and muh free markets. This is nothing but a giant fake money pile of fiat monopoly money that's been devalued to the dirt with a bunch of clinical narcissists using their control of the money supply to gain power and control over others.
Good video thank you. I'm a 42 yo male, not married, no kids. 4 years to go on my mortgage, money in the bank and also stock markets, excellent health. I stopped dating back in 2019 due to the cesspool dating scene. I found Jesus back in 2020 and life has become next level for me. Many thanks for your video Jim 🙏
Thank you for sharing your story. I don’t have a girlfriend, wife, or kids because I'm just trash being physically disabled. But a lot of times, I realize that even if I were like any regular guy, I would still have so much to face. That helps me understand that perhaps I’m not missing out on as much as life could offer.
You are so refreshing speaking the truth. I feel like I am listening to myself although I am a woman 71, never married, no kids, love my company, never lonely. I love my solitude.
thats so weird. love my company. never lonely ? sis you are prolly sociopath. super selfish and dont know much about love . if you dont have kids you dont know what true love is. loving yourself only is the most pathetic and selfish thing in this world. keep enjoying your solitude till you die alone
I am 41 never married no children also. i tried many times to meet a right man..but it didn’t happened. Now i live without expectations about marriage and learn to enjoy this life. Jim, i wish you healthy life and happiness, with or without your lady.
Look i believe you’re more happy than me i been married for 45 years and i truly believe you’re more happier than me living with someone it’s hard and terrible ❤

I am 59 years old same, never married no children. Not interested in being with women they are today. Pass. I have noticed that most men who don't get married can think for themselves more so than those that do. I am in the military too. I saw the same things he did, especially on my deployments. After that, I decided marriage is not for me.
I see what my brother, brother in law and friends go through and I truly don’t know how they do it. My brother especially as he has given his wife a great life and it’s not enough. In fact, she’s even unhappier now than she’s ever been .. oh and she’s putting on weight .. mu brother doesn’t even mention it anymore as it’s just so broken. I can’t imagine dealing with that daily

I had to end a 20yr friendship because they kept on trying to destroy my relationships. Even if I wanted to have a fling with a chic, my friend kept on trying to block my happiness. Couldn’t take it, and cut them off
@@verminator1980 it was ridiculous! We even went to the strip club, and dude had a issue with the chic I was interested in. The chic looked good to me, and he’s all in my ear saying, “she’s fat, get something better. Choose this girl, etc”. And whenever I ignore what he’s saying, he would try his hardest to make me feel bad for my decisions. Like when we see mutual friend later say something in front of everyone, “he was oth a day girl last night”. Or point out an obese woman days later and say, “that’s your type right there”. He was waaay more diabolical than that. I just couldn’t stand it anymore, and eventually just went ghost on em

@@metalmike570 it sucked. I struggled with it for a while. Felt like he wanted control me. This guy gave me a ton of s#it about talking to an exotic dancer. This was just a fling, and nothing serious. He would say thing here and there for about a year. Then one day he got drunk and let it be known that the girl he was dating for the last 2 years was an exotic dancer, and he made up an entire fake story about how he met her. So it was ok for him to shame me for having fun, while behind the scenes he was dating a dancer the whole time. It just severely messed up my trust in him. And when confronted he would say, “I did that to protect you”. Or blamed the girl for lying because she made up the story about how they met. This was my best friend, so it really felt like betrayal. I questioned everything he said after that. I learned about narcissistic personality disorders after this incident
Same here. I never dated either. People gave me a hard time about and assumed that I was gay. I never wanted to be on the hook to be responsible for other people when I was barely making it myself. I watched my brother's kids a couple days and knew that I made the right choice, peace and quiet is the best.
I understand you perfectly. my parents and friends think I'm the other way around. I always tell them that a marriage does not bring anything good except compromise, headaches, hard work and stress. I also noticed that unmarried men live much longer. it is also normal as long as there is no one to eat your life.
Back in the 80s and 90s staying single was considered a choice not to deal with the stresses and responsibilities. Today its considered gay. I had a coworker who dated his girlfriend for the five years that i worked with him finally get married, and after about 2 months into his marriage she turned out to be a swinger. While he was at work.
I'm 53, married. I never wanted to get married, and never wanted children, but I have a son now, he's 8. I don't regret it one bit, even though I didn't plan for it. It's not easy finding the right woman, and I thank my lucky stars that I managed to do it. Today, I wouldn't change my personal situation for the world - I love my wife, love my kid (even though he's making me go gray). Thanks so much for sharing - your story is a very interesting one.
52 here, exactly the same for me. I don't regret not settling down when i was younger. Most of my friends been dragged through divorce court. No point in marriage any longer.
yeah I went to research why is that. I am 50. This whole world is going to shit, and its on purpose! Remember the 80's and how life was muc much easier....yeah, the great plan uncovering right infron of our eyes
the amount of women that are suitable for marriage is so low today you might not even meet them in your lifetime. it was not always like this. You can read the Bible and see they were bred differently for a lifetime commitment from age of early adulthood and kept away from other men by the father and family.

If you are an introspective person looking for meaning and truth in the world, That is a recipe for being alone. Hardly anyone else is playing at that higher level. They're just buying whatever crap they hear on TV. I'm 64 in perfect health and just try to be optimistic that a good friend/partner will present themself at one point and I am ready. My experience leads me to a bad attitude about proactively finding someone.
thats the dumbest comment on the entire internet. you can be searching for meaning and truth even with a loved one and especially with kids which extend your curiosity and meaning to life.
Same here. Bachelor's life for me. I thought I had close friends when I was younger but learned the hard way that most people just wind up using you. My pets give me all the unconditional love I need. Plus I don't have anyone stopping me from pursuing my interests. It's nice.
You realise by living the bachelor life, you are literally playing into the whole world of nobody wanting to commit which he described in the video? He's not anti-settling down, he's saying he's not worked out how to achieve it, because he's lacking self awareness, like you are. Your pets couldn't give two shits about you. You can prove it by stopping to feed them and they will leave before you can snap your fingers. Gosh!
JIM! I just gotta say as a 26 year old watching this video... seeing a 51 year old come to these realizations is so so refreshing. The fact that you are able to question things that you have believed your whole life at your age is amazing to see. I am in the exact same boat as you with religion, and your thoughts are what I went through at about 21. I see my Dad in you (also named Jim).. but your ability to question is something I wish my parents and older people would do a lot more. Sometimes as a younger person, it's sad having a disconnect with older people who seem to be so permanent in their ways of thinking. You are seeing the world for what it is which amazing.. but it doesn't mean you are depressed or something. Most people with decent lives never question anything because there is no reason to do so. If it makes you feel good, that is all that matters to most. Once again, so refreshing you are able to have these conversations and I wish you the best.
You speak for me, Jim. I'm 65, single. No kids. No kin. You're red-pilled and highly intelligent and see through the bullshit. And you're right. Question everything.
life itself is a lie because all we see and feel and think and say and do and experience is illusion...all u can see is made up of atoms and particles in constant movement...it's energy and higher than this it does not even exist because the highest understanding is nothing is happening and nothing exists...so knowing this how can we not know the world must run on bullsh!t
Around the age of my parents. How do you think my mom (the grand-mother) feels like when I visit her with my little red head girl of 8 years old running quickly towards her for a hug??? Telling her she loves her? It does feel extremely good let me tell you. I do not feel the need to share video or to text about it, until I feel otherwise, like right now. There is nothing to be proud about getting older alone without kids, living for your own self isn't something to be proud of, compare to the people working, loving, protecting and caring for someone else, to feed your own creation and to be raising them. Avoiding this part of life sound more like a punishment then anything else. You don't need to get married to have kids, but my parents (70) and grand-parents (last one still alive 93) were married, together, to the end, and are probably the most kind people I know. Who is going to care for you until the end of your life? Probably no one.
Jim should play Metal Gear Solid V, or any of them really. His words about the military industrial complex make it clear he’s aware of how the system works. The game captures and subtly critiques every aspect of the “racket” and it’s fun too.
Hi Jim, thanks for sharing your story. I am a 59 Yr old British woman and got married for first time yesterday, having known my now husband for 10 years. He's italian - warm and expressive. I cld have got married earlier in my life but was afraid of things going wrong and I didn't want to feel trapped and unhappy. Fortunately I didn't want children - I needed freedom after some sad experiences of my own childhood. Yet when you meet "The One", life is better and easier. There are no major problems you can't solve together. You have each others backs. It can be lonely growing old without a special person by your side. You're still young enough to change your life and find happiness. Choose a mate who makes you feel happy and peaceful and who enriches your life. Good luck 🍀

It warms my heart when I hear someone else in the throws of the same questions and circumstances as myself because it gives me a glimmer of hope. Please don't take to heart those books about the games with dating and stay true to who you genuinely are at heart. Don't change who you are for a society that you know is moving in completely the wrong direction. They want us dividend, to destroy the family and to be fake and materistic. I have never been that way and never will be. I understand, empathize, and you are not alone. It's difficult when you are awake and still have a beautiful heart. I struggle to find genuine, good people that are strong like us. God bless you and don't loose faith!
Hi Jim,I am 70 never married and new I would never be married, I told classmates in high school when talking about the future and different subjects that I would never get married, I didn't want any kids, I wanted to work ,buy a home, not have any baggage and pursue my own interests, I did that, I had a great job, A have a nice home and no worries or drama, This was the best decision I ever made and it wasn't like I didn't date, We just didn't have the same plans for the future and I Noticed that early. So I can say you can be happy, fulfilled and single, My cousin is a year younger and I new for years he had a similar plan and is now 69 and never married and has had a great single life with no drama and issues, I can't stress how good it is to be single, fulfilled and Happy .
Well, that`s me, very early as a teenager a knew marriage and family is not for me. I`m 64 now and alway`s been happy, did what I loved ,had interesting jobs, travelled the world and still love my life. Lonelyness , unknown ,there`s always things to learn ,see and encounter. But for sure I missed a lot of trouble and stress caused by marriage and family. Marriage and family is not for everyone And about religion,it`s used to influence People. There is a creator for sure, and I`talk to him/her every day,and as far as I`m concerned we got a good relatioship. So a hope it will go on for quite a time.
Can't wait to snuggle my wife tonight. Raised 8 kids, five mine and three of my relatives. Its hard to see them go but they grow fast. Not looking forward to a empty nest. We are opposite yet both happy. Life is good, take care friends.
Ok. Here's what you need to do. You are a serious guy. I can see that. Your job demanded it. Now take a step back. Learn photography. That's the #1 most attractive hobby for a guy. Buy some film cameras, go old school. Learn the dials. Next, take some guitar lessons. You could even learn from youtube but actual lessons are better. Finally, watch comedians every single day--not political ones, just funny ones. Start laughing until it becomes part of your nature. You'll remember some of their jokes. Last thing, and this is the biggest one of all. All those other failed relationships, horror stories, ways you think women are, erase all that. Deleted. That is them. Just because other soldiers are messing up does not mean they all mess up. Go into a date clean. No expectations. Simply have fun. You don't need coaches. You don't need books. You just need to learn to enjoy the moment and instead of being a nice guy, you are now a fun guy. Once things get serious, you need to learn to transform yourself from a fun guy to a good guy--someone who stands up for himself, is reliable, trusts his gut instincts, doesn't change his colors to please others, and takes care of himself and someone else.

Hello Jim. Your video appeared and I felt compelled to watch. I am woman entering my late forties, I’ve never been married, no kids. I have not reached any of the adult milestones that my parents drilled into me that I was told were important. Your story is similar to mine. Men who were interested in me but the feelings weren’t mutual and vise versa. I dated and I had one relationship (that’s another story!) but no one seemed to want to take the next step, so to speak. I’ve had my heart broken and the pain is too much. I have often wondered if I had only done this or that, how different my life would be. However it appears you did all the right things and yet here you are making this video, echoing the same thoughts as a lot of your viewers. There’s nothing wrong with you being a “nice guy”. You are an empathetic man living in a narcissistic, fallen world. Regardless, I thought I’d add my two cents. It’s nice to see we’re all walking similar paths.
One of the best ever videos I’ve seen in UA-cam, explaining my life exactly as it has happened to me. Everything you have said, people assuming I’m gay for being single with no kids, being ex-military and watch your colleagues go through hell in a nasty divorce, whilst being in a frontline!! How the Government treats us. How women are more masculine than men!! I also looked into the red pill and find I’m a nice guy going nowhere fast!!

Hi Jim. I really enjoyed your reflection. I'm married with children and very happy, and I still feel the same about all the issues you have raised. If you can't be a father, you can be a father figure. I think you would be amazing at this given your perception. The whole time, I was thinking what you addressed at the end of your video. Change your culture OS, even part-time as you mention, and I think the reminder of your unfulfilled journey will be realised. You're so there...Cheers from Australia.
I passed 42 mark, never married, last dated in my teens, used pros throughout my 20's and early 30's but last decade I stayed clean. It's a good, peaceful, stress-free, independent life; so good that I don't need drugs nor alcohol nor cigarettes. I've so many interests that I'm always in a flow and enjoy every moment of it. Would I swap it for wife and kids? NEVER. It's not my cup of tea and I always knew ever since I was a little kid that family is not for me. The only thing is that other people think that there must be something wrong with you, who cares about people and their thoughts...
If we could see what society turned out to be many (decades ago) - we would be shocked to see what happened! Have you ever noticed that the ones who are unmarried and have no children seem to look years younger?
@@freedom4life123 exactly. I will say and I can be wrong the reason why most folks marriage with kids look older is because they had to work so hard vs being a single person no kids no stress you don’t gotta work as hard. If I am wrong, correct me that is something I thought was interesting.. a wife and kids can’t stress a man out to the point it takes his health if he is not careful I have seen that over the years more than once.
Hi Jim, I enjoyed your talk. You touched on so many different areas that I absolutely agree with. It’s disheartening to realize that we’ve been lied to about most things; especially, when we’re learning in our older years. Keep hope, and I’m sure you will eventually find your heart’s desire. This is coming from a 58 year old, divorced, black woman, who is now happily engaged to a black man who was never married or had children. Just don’t be afraid and don’t put whole groups into the same basket. Yes, our environment influences a lot of our beliefs and behaviors, but hopefully, you’ll meet someone who is a thinker and open to unlearning and learning the things that will give you both a long and happy life.
you saved yourself from alot of stress, similar people have told me the same as a warning. intelligence is learning from others mistakes, i believe you did the right thing. especially during times like this.
You are clearly not alone. My mother used to always tell me, “ marriage is far too close of a relationship so you cannot fake your way through it. The partner you choose will have the greatest impact on your life of any other relationship you will ever have so make that choice very very carefully.” I never did get married. Now that I’m in my 50’s I’m so glad I never got married. As you get older you realize more and more with every passing year that you have less and less energy to put into close relationships that demand your full presence. Now I’m so tired that I just feel like it would be very difficult to cope with the pressure of having to be there for someone 100% every day. It would be a very painful and frustrating situation to feel like I was letting someone down all the time, because I simply could not muster the energy to put my whole heart and effort into being there for a partner consistently. I can barely sustain myself at this point and I realize at this age that feeling like I am disappointing someone every single day would lead to a lot of disappointment in myself.
Your mom was wise. But youre that tired in your fifties? I feel what you say. The “Letting someone down”. Im married. When you just wanna have total control of youre day, or even your week, it feels lie youre letting someone down. Even if thyere not around.
The ideal is that a marriage becomes a relationship where your energies are in sync such that you both get more out of the relationship than you put into it. I doubt many actually achieve this ideal - I know I didn't manage to.
I'm 56, never married, no kids. My siblings all have kids so they can carry on the family line. My parents generation in the 1960s could afford a big house in the suburbs and have 2 late model cars and raise 4 kids. I have a comparable job to what my my father had but can only afford an apartment. Bottom line is I couldn't afford kids, and women I've met always judged me for not having a lot of money. I'm a nice guy and despite being a physically fit guy, seemed to make me sexually repellant to women who piqued my interest. I found in my 50s, I love my peace and quiet. There's nothing wrong being a single man in your 50s. Great video, I've also been in the situation where the mutual chemistry with women I liked just wasn't there, There's always the Phillipines to find a younger bride, but the peace and quiet is a good thing. Marriage is expensive. I think marriage and family is really for younger people in their 20s and 30s. If youre still single by 50, enjoy your life for you, and it can be a good life. i hope nobody thinks happiness can only come from being married.
I have a personal philosophy of never commenting or asking people about personal issues like why or why not they are in a relationship. It's none of my business. Happy to listen to people share if they want. I wish more people just took others as they find them and not feel the need to probe where they're not invited. There are a lot of unattached folk and the reasons for that are varied. I've come to believe that marriage is very flawed. It's held up as an achievement in a person's life but it really isn't. There are so many unhappy marriages and again, the reasons are varied. Ultimately, we are all on our own and if we are not able to feel whole and complete within ourselves, we have nothing. I feel that part of the problem with relationships is people entering into them to find something missing within themselves. If you are whole and contented within yourself you are a success. The best kind of success.
Very true words! This is what I also tell a lot of people. So many broken people try to 'complete' themselves going from one relationship to another. Hoping that finding the 'right' one will magically complete and fix them. Make them feel whole. I tell them to take a brake from dating and learn to love themselves and learn who they really are. Work through thoughts, insecurities, self esteem, etc. Once you are able to be happy with just your own company and who you are, only then start looking for a partner if your still interested. Two broken people in a relationship won't make a whole. It causes more damage. After I took the time to learn to love myself and being alone with my own company, the feeling of finding the 'right' one dissapeared and I've been happy since just being single.
Jim your awesome man 36 yr old single no kids here and I share alot of the same things with you its nice to know their are many people out their like me
50 here, divorced, no kids, dated before and after the marriage. It's only when I chose to stop dating and focus on myself that I began getting everything I wanted. I have time, money, health, space, no debt, an education, height, and youthful looks. I became very comfortable on my own. I enjoy solitude. I'm not lonely. I don't even want to re-enter a relationship because I know the pitfalls. I know I've never met a woman who loved me all-in. Lasting love is hard to find, gents. If you have it, hold on. It’s totally ok to be single, never married, no kids. You are a unique individual. You have chosen a path of solitude because you are stronger than you realize. The trappings of interpersonal relationships are actually BELOW you. You’re only problem is that you are still invested in this paradigm that is just not for you. You’re above it.

It's quite common a daughter or son will take up whatever attitude and rancor a mother feeds them to despise and disown their fathers. Unfortunately without truth or a willingness to hear and understand the other side of the story, the chance of a repaired relationship are nil to none. This type of narcissism is out there and the cause for many broken relationships. As unpopular as it is to point the finger at a mother, it's a fact. It's time people start calling it out. 36 Y.O male. My former circle of friends all married in their late 20s. I was laughed at when asked why I choose to be single. I stated I wanted to retire first before dating. Fast forward; I plan on retiring by my 40th birthday financially free. Thanks for sharing your story
45 y.o. male here. i semi-retired at the age of 38 before i started dating because i knew that i couldn't handle full time work and raising a family at the same time. i got married at 42, had my first kid a year later. my secret to early semi-retirement is i saved a lot of money by living with my dad or mom or brother while i was still single and i started investing early. i now live in the philippines where the cost of living is less and women here are more traditional. i mean women here expect that the husband provides and the wife takes care of the kids.
I dated a little bit in my 20's, but I never liked to drink alcohol so going out to bars was out of the question. I'm 35 right now, I work in a government job with a pension and i plan to retire at 39, right before I hit 40, hopefully.
I just turned 55 yesterday, single, female, no children, and living simply alone in the countryside in the Philippines. Having faith in Jesus is what keeps me go on with my life with positive outlook. Without God in your life, you'll be easily succumbed into depression and hopelessness.

I'm 31. Born in London, UK. Got deep into the internet from a young age and was lucky enough to learn about a lot of these life hurdles early, particularly with dating. It's really a science and men need to study it if they truly want to be in a state of abundance instead of scarcity when it comes to women. There are also some harsh truths like being attractive makes dating much easier in general. Could relate to many of the others things you said too. Health, corruption of government, war as a racket. Corruption of our medical systems. Follow the money is usually the protocol. Religion vs spirituality. I also struggled with social anxiety and spent years doing exposure therapy (public speaking) and pushing myself to overcome it. I admire your open mind and willingness to seek the truth. Most prefer the comforting lies and their own comfort zone.

A very courageous video, Jim. You have come to a place that many of us get to. As we get more perspective on life the veneers of belief fall away, and the truth is exposed. We all go through indoctrination into society and life experience and age debriefs us into the hidden reality. You see in politics today, the desperate attempts of politicians to keep up these facades. My biggest concern regarding society pushing us away from successful relationships that produce children, is the ultimate survival of our species. Or at the very least a society that is worth living in. All the best to you, Jim, as you navigate these challeges. I am 65 and appreciate where you are at now.
You are not alone in the topic you are talking about. I feel the same about the church I don't go any more either for the same reasons. I'm older and it's hard to find good guys. Thank you for your chat. There are a lot of things now that make no sense to me also commonsense has gone really. I just try to live the best life I can in my little part of the world. Im 45 2 kids great wife and all the love that a family comes with. Every mans path is different, and everyones needs are different. Just be yourself men.
Jim, my heart broke for you watching this, because you’re one of the good guys who would have made someone a wonderful husband-I can just tell. You were doing everything right and deserved to find someone who would love and cherish you, and I’m so sorry that hasn’t happened for you. 💔 The fact that you read Christian books and listened to Christian radio is amazing too and so rare. It shows your good intentions and heart. And the fact that you set aside money to be a good provider is something a real man does-a protector, and that’s such a valuable quality in a man. I’m mid 40s, female, and because I saved myself for marriage, I have no kids (no regrets there though, I wanted to do things God’s way even though it was very difficult at times and frustrating!). Like you, I thought I’d meet someone great and would get married, and I read tons of Christian material on marriage, but I never found that right one. I was also looking for someone with old fashioned values, and most men today seem to prefer the feminist women, which I’m not, and they don’t act like gentlemen, and I didn’t want to be treated like a man. I’ll say though that I stopped dating years ago, and I’ve been much happier. 😂 Dating was stressful. And in today’s world, I’m so thankful I’m not a mom!! Especially since I’m also an introvert and don’t like getting out much, which you pretty much have to do if you have kids. I do have a few close friends who I enjoy seeing one on one, but otherwise, I don’t socialize much, and I also don’t like today’s modern, loud churches. :/ Being single allows me to be mostly separate from the world and especially since I work from home. I’m really thankful for my peaceful, low stress life. With being too nice, I really think it’s best to just be genuine. You don’t want to come on too strong in the beginning, because it can be overstepping as both people are cautiously testing the waters, and it’s best to not rush that, but once things get more established, it’s best to just be you so you’ll end up being accepted for who you are, and it’s honest-and since you’re a nice guy, you’ll come across as respectful, and respect is the most important thing in a relationship. Plus, women do like to know when a guy is interested. If I think a guy isn’t interested, I tend to lose interest in him. If respect isn’t there, it’s a red flag. If you want to respond to a text right away, just do it. I’m sure it’ll make her happy. 😊 And oh my goodness, I feel for you with questioning your faith!! In my late 20s, I questioned if I believed in Jesus or not. I needed to know whether He really was of God or not. In the end, I knew I believed the Bible was the Word of God, due to fulfilled prophecy, that to me, proved it was of God, and after much research, I concluded that Jesus fulfilled the prophecies of a coming Messiah. There are also historical writings about Jesus, so I do believe there is much evidence for His existence! 😊 After I went through this, my faith and relationship with God really grew and deepened. I started listening for His still, small voice. He even supernaturally saved me from a car wreck. It’s good to question your faith though because when/if you come back, your faith will be unshakable! And you’re so right about big pharma and them making us sick!! I stay away from processed foods and most doctor’s advice. It’s crazy to have your eyes opened and to realize the institutions we believed in as a kid aren’t to be trusted anymore-just like you realized with the military too, but thank you very much for loving our country and serving. I’m glad you had a great career! Anyway, I know I’m female, but I felt like I could identify with so much of what you were saying and had to comment. I will pray for you to find your way or peace on what to do, and I hope you’ll look into Christian apologetics and will hopefully find some answers to your doubts about Jesus. It’s not a fun journey, but for someone who really cares, it’s necessary. Sending you a hug from Texas!! 🤗 Please be true yourself and stay one of the good guys!! I don’t know much about the whole red pill thing, but I hear they teach men that women are bad and to harden their hearts towards them and not be as nice, etc., but please don’t let anyone harden your good heart and steal that beautiful gift from you. God may have someone for you still right in your home town! And if so, I know she’s a beautiful person too! Please keep your heart soft and don’t let anyone harden or change you-we desperately need our strong, good men like you!! ❤❤
Oh! _(If I edit my main comment, I’m afraid it might disappear since so many of mine do, so I’ll add my comment here),_ I wanted to comment on hell. I too struggled with the concept of hell, but I no longer believe the Bible teaches that it’s for an eternity, and I don’t believe it’s the same for everyone. If you search David Reagan and hell, I think you’ll find his teaching on this subject very helpful! It _greatly_ helped me come to peace over this!

This is the most insightful honest reflection I’ve heard. The clarity that we have now about everything is almost scary. As an adult I feel like it’s the second Santa isn’t real. All we can do is make the most of the experience . I almost wonder was it better living in ignorance

I am also 51 years old and I’m from Michigan. I am married and we have 3 children. Be authentically who you are. Life’s path is not the same for everyone. The woman who is for you will appreciate the person you are. The women who are not for you are not supposed to be in your life.
Hey Jim, I can relate to many things you told, although I am a decade younger. Recently I got hooked into David Goggins stuff, like performing without purpose, that the purpose is us, or that life is testing us and if we don't prepare ourselves in advance by doing things that suck everyday, then we will fail that life test at some point. It is not directly related to the things that you have told, but it helps me to find myself, because for too long I was on the wrong path. And still too often I am unable to flip that switch, but when I don't feel motivated, I instantly remember David Goggins voice and then it keeps me moving in the right direction. .
And to Him, we surrender.”
(2:136 / Translated by Community)

Furthermore, the women who will let you sleep with them without commitment are generally unstable in some way, and can potentially derail your life if something goes wrong later on.
Uhm, the ''women who let you sleep with them without commitment are generally unstable'' is ridiculous. There's a good number of women who don't want kids or marriage.
That is so true you're basically playing Russian roulette
This is why you never delete texts.

That is sad! Don’t give up on a family. Children are so worth it! Without them you will be forgotten.
30% of men throughout all of human history have passed on their genes, where 80% of women passed down there.
This is nothing new, Meny Men throughout history died from disease, war, famine, starvation, or became slaves without even knowing the touch of a woman, let alone being able to have children.

@@waggytail289 Do you still live with your parents or never left home ?
Authentic people are misunderstood. I admire you for staying true to yourself despite societal expectations.
That's so true. And for 'authenticity' it is the highest form of vibration and frequency, higher than that of the 'sun' or 'love'. Look it up. Being authentic is right up there with God, and being at the top is lonely.

I've seem what loneliness do to old women. Please keep hope, you are still young and can get married.
Its nearly impossible find women speaking the truth. Thanks for sharing
You are fortunate not to have procreated, humanity is doomed.
never do anything to satisfy others. Never do anything to fit in with the crowd.
I'm 61, no kids, never married. LWP for 18 years. No pressure. Live *YOUR* life... Responsibly :)
Exactly

True. You don't have to go against your nature
The disconnect is when women tell their sons to do this but do not realize that what they are attracted to is the opposite.

And to Him, we surrender.”

My life as a middle aged man blossomed, I didn't realise just how emotionally draining it was trying to please others, but mostly my own desires! Truly, if you conquer lust, attachment and dependency, life is sooooo much more rewarding and you feel a sense of self-sovereignty.

The 80s were amazing. I WISH we could go back in time and finish my remaining days in that world. Everything is shit today.
the amount of women that are suitable for marriage is so low today you might not even meet them in your lifetime. it was not always like this. You can read the Bible and see they were bred differently for a lifetime commitment from age of early adulthood and kept away from other men by the father and family.
@@outlawedTV88 the 80s was a glorious time. I was so happy growing up when I was a kid in the 80s.
Yes, yes, yes! Well said!
Most mOOdern people, especially females, are extreme consOOmers, and are incredibly overweight/obese. It’s awful.
Ain't nothing going to 'present itself' just like that in life. It's a two way street.
Even though it may be difficult, it is not impossible. Ask God to help you find a godly spouse. He can bring you two together. Hugs.
thats the dumbest comment on the entire internet. you can be searching for meaning and truth even with a loved one and especially with kids which extend your curiosity and meaning to life.

@malcolmnicoll1165 are you at peace? Are you lonely?
life itself is a lie because all we see and feel and think and say and do and experience is illusion...all u can see is made up of atoms and particles in constant movement...it's energy and higher than this it does not even exist because the highest understanding is nothing is happening and nothing exists...so knowing this how can we not know the world must run on bullsh!t
But Yeah

How the Government treats us. How women are more masculine than men!! I also looked into the red pill and find I’m a nice guy going nowhere fast!!
"A lot of us are in the same boat."

And to Him, we surrender.”
(2:136 / Translated by Community)

Hi Jim,
I enjoyed your talk.
I felt this
Your mom gave great advice.
Great video, I've also been in the situation where the mutual chemistry with women I liked just wasn't there,
There's always the Phillipines to find a younger bride, but the peace and quiet is a good thing.
For the multitude of guys who never had... love who you are. If you enjoy your own company, you'll have a relaxing life.
Whether you think something is easy or hard, you are right.

Learned to be and love being single over the last few years. I have been able to travel and save money. God’s Word has blessed me tremendously. God’s Word is TRUE and ever living, ever breathing. Be blessed

You’re vulnarable honesty is touching. You’re awake about yourself and the world around you. I totally agree with everything you said. I’m a Dutch woman of 52…

@@athek7081 Do tell. 32 here. Single. No kids.
Blah blah blah, your the reason guys keep going off the cliff. 😂
Jim, my heart broke for you watching this, because you’re one of the good guys who would have made someone a wonderful husband-I can just tell. You were doing everything right and deserved to find someone who would love and cherish you, and I’m so sorry that hasn’t happened for you. 💔
The fact that you read Christian books and listened to Christian radio is amazing too and so rare.
Being single allows me to be mostly separate from the world and especially since I work from home.
And oh my goodness, I feel for you with questioning your faith!!
After I went through this, my faith and relationship with God really grew and deepened.

Same vibes here. Really. It sucks almost to have this level of knowledge and awareness but its not like its making anyone happier. And i'm not saying ignorance is better but it sure has that look to it when we look at how disconnected and meaningless things have become now.

I am also 51 years old and I’m from Michigan. I am married and we have 3 children. Be authentically who you are. Life’s path is not the same for everyone. The woman who is for you will appreciate the person you are. The women who are not for you are not supposed to be in your life.
I agree. "The woman who is for you will appreciate the person you are" First you need to be who you truly are no matter what. All rest comes then.
56 never married and no kids. Living in USA. I completely relate to your story.
Yes , irrespective of our sex unfortunately too many of us can .
It is never too late to change our lives.
