Wow, I wasn't expecting Naomi, Atomiswave and Dreamcast running decently on it, it is a direct purchase, I loved the 1st model, but I love this one even more !!!
I was planning to buy this console because it made a great impression on me, but when I realized that playing games with Dreamcast, N64 or PSP without an analogue device would be very difficult/impossible. I waited for the first performance tests and noticed that, like you, unfortunately this console cannot handle the PSP (as well as the Dreamcast - more demanding games), so I gave up. I changed my psp fat screen to IPS. And today a new battery arrived, when I tested it in the game GTA Chinatown Wars with 50% backlight, the console lasted almost 5 hours with the screen on all the time, I hope that if I charge it a few more times it will last 20-30 minutes longer. But it's still a nice result for me, the current battery lasts me about 80 minutes. Best regards, and as always, your materials are good to watch, and I've been watching them for years.
Modded Vita is a MUCH better option vs a PSP. You get all that the PSP does (- UMD iso movie playback) + a much more robust RetroArch that can run alot more retro games quite well. It's WAY better suited for handling arcade emulation vs a PSP 👍
The r36 is more reliable but it doesn't play n64 or psp fluid, the 35xxplus run dreamcast and psp better, when it works because anbernic is too bad and suddenly they stop working😢

It only cost 64 dollar's dude. The R36s DPAD and buttons are horrible to press and has less RAM. Not to mention bad audio speakers and less emulators than the RG35XX Plus, and it will only get better when Garlic OS comes out

Why everyone showing up with same games on all different handheld its always Sonic, adventure island, crash bandicoot and contra should be funny to see metroid or zelda games on review is it because of copyright?
You can also add Capcom vs snk 2 for dreamcast project justice , plasma sword , tech romancer and guilty gear xx , re code veronica and sega gt i want to see if this games work

I set up a retrogamer system using an 11th generation Amazon Fire 10.1" tablet that runs Fire OS (a modified Android) and despite it only having 3 gigs of memory, it runs well on several systems, including the PSP, PlayStation, Dreamcast and Saturn, I arrived I was able to run the PS2 fps game "Black", but it was unplayable due to slowness. I used an Xbox One wireless controller to play on the tablet and the Daijisho front-end to run the various retrogamer platforms. You know Daijisho?
Yeah you can connect multiple 35xx+ anbernic showed that in their yt channel the new garlic 2.0 will be a multi device os for now its only compatible with 405m & v i hope they add the 35xx+ and theres a good chance you can connect this devices together using garlic 2.0 its still in development
Multiplayer games are only possible on older systems and arcades which is still great. But starting with PS1 and up I don't think it's possible at least not on this hardware. I could be wrong though.

I wish these took AA batteries instead of a $30 battery that equals $5 in AA battery power. Lithium Ion batteries are weak. I got 2300mah AA rechargables. These only come with 3000mah or less. Which two double A batteries at 2300 equals 4600mah. So just two rechargable double A batteries would have more power for only $6. It needs 4 double A batteries to have over 8000mah of battery life like the original Gameboy. Funny OG Gameboy has a longer battery life than these chinese handhelds.

I think if you haven't bought the RG35XX this looks pretty good. For me I don't need the plus since I use mine for 16 bit and some 32 bit games.

Not only an impression, it actually is 2 millimeters thicker and ~21 grams heavier.

For emulation power it's not that interesting. PS1 and GBA. Overal control input is so much better with this new version. Gives a better experience.
The r36s is better for old games, my xx plus crashed a lot with ps1 and later on all the console stoped to work and is no sd problem

NimH batteries are trash and perma die really easily.
