    I got this as my first mechanical keyboard a few months ago, and have tried many other mechanical keyboards since, and I can honestly say that this board is amazing. I got the brown switches on mine, and it is a breeze and extremely satisfying for typing. I tried replacing the keycaps with other layouts and colour schemes, but the stock keycaps on this panda board is just better than any replacement keycap set I have tried.

    Hi Betty, first of all, nice vids in general, your team improved quite rapidly from week to week. I have the folloving confusion: I am sort of a keyboard experience enthusisast, but I don't want to own a boatload of keyboards, just the 1-2 that satisfies my needs. The biggest burdon for easily finding the one I need is that there are no exhibitions or stores where I could test 20 boards to get my winner. I have recently swapped my modded (silenced) razer ornata chroma to a Niz PLum atom. Your video about it helped me a lot to make a decision towards this less established brand instead of original topres and I did not regret it at all, loving the board quite.... though a box of lube is on the way, to loob out the scratchiness from the stems... and/but now you show this board and tell how much you are in love with it, and I just wonder:: If you have swapped your Plum to use this board instead, what was the main reason behind? (you told also in the yearly summary, that you managed to get the fastest/most pleasant typing experinece on the plum, so what does the varmilo experience give you on top, that makes you prefer that even more? )

    • @SwitchandClickOfficial
      @SwitchandClickOfficial  3 роки тому

      Niz is a very niche board and not everyone would like the way it feels. I still use it. Everything is preference.

    • @TBD_Teebs
      @TBD_Teebs 3 роки тому

      I'm actually looking at this myself, just from my research, the One2 SF is currently almost half the price of the Miya as it's on sale where I live, so if you can get a good deal, I'd say it is a good choice. It's slightly smaller and doesn't have a standard layout, but if you don't plan to change the keycaps, I don't think that's an issue.

      Ducky boards do not sound this good. You can check my Ducky One 2 Mini or One 2 SF review for those sound tests.

    what would you recommend that's around this budget and build quality, but how swappable? Cause I'm really not sure about the switch I should get (commitment issues i guess)
