I've had my licence since I was a teenager. I guess I should say that I rarely drive, and when I do, I drive a very fuel efficient car. If everyone in the US were to drive fuel efficient cars, we could stop importing oil from the middle east, that's my point here.
This is the only kind of prius I'd ever drive. I wouldn't have all the decals on it. I'd make it matte black and just let it be a sleeper.

Now all it needs is the real wheel covers from the first gen Prius to hide the fat tires, regular paint, a good set of mufflers to make it really quiet and tinted windows to hide the interior and that’s an honest to god sleeper that nobody would see coming.

i went to the new york auto show and saw this guy today. awesome guy. since the car has been on the show it’s picked up almost 200 horsepower. this car is the funniest thing ever. this guy is also a fantastic person. he said that he still drives it in the HOV lane and nobody cares. what a great idea.

The new Prius sedan in black is pretty cool looking, kind of like a small Batmobile. Still, people buy then for the gas mileage. That's the main selling point. This Hellcat Prius is amazing, and still drives nice. Awesome build!!
I imagine it gets rid of the EV mode entirely. Which sucks cause the best part is when you're just strolling through down no reason to have the engine running. Get on the highway engine kicks on and then ya get going

Christopher May those hondas have engines and a platform that can be turned into something. The prius needed a complete redone as it's engine didn't have the honda magic 500 hp capable 4 cyl. Plus this is alot cooler than a turbo insight.

Hey Jay, can you do a mini series or a few episodes where you talk about the different parts of a car, how they work, and what their purpose is? In a lot of your videos you mention things like headers, carbonator, etc. And to make it easier to fully understand what you're talking about, a few videos that go over the mechanics of a car would be truly beneficial!
LOVE this build! It's the ultimate. IMO though, the paint is waaayyy too much. Remove ALL the graphics and you have the perfect sleeper for Hempstead Turnpike or Deer Park Avenue. -- Oh, and--- LONG ISLAND NEEDS A DRAG STRIP!
