John Wysocki is always such an amazing drummer. ALWAYS in the pocket. First time I heard "Home", (which unfortunately isn't in this setlist) I was like; "Man this guy's good!" Especially when he was using OCDP... Then Mike Mushok goes to PRS from Ibanez.
If I had to choose just one voice to listen to for the rest of my life and absolutely no one else, it would be Aaron Lewis’s voice. I could literally listen to his voice all day everyday and still get the same chills.

But to me, the emotions of anguish, despair and even anger that Aaron’s voice conveys is absolutely second to none. They should play Layne in every show.. like AV7 play's far away in each and every concert for remembering the REV except Layne is not a member in staind but god the song is piece of art and remembering an artist who created a lot of pieces of art..

Have to give aaron lewis credit for his live vocals spot on with his pitch. Sounds neary identical to how he sounds on the albums. Not all live singers can do this david lee roth and bob dylan are as off pitch live as it gets.
Mike's tone here is so different from the way he eq'd his shit back in the day lol. though, tuning down to G# on a 6er has its own set of problems just by itself lol
It’s a baritone guitar (Ibanez MMM1). It’s built to be like a 7 string, without the high string so it has a reinforced bridge and nut and the right string gauges to tune to Ab Db Ab Db Gb Bb or any of the like 12 other slight variations of that. But yes you’re right about his tone...if you mean that it used to be so fuckin good on Dysfunction and Break the Cycle...then it started getting worse and worse somehow...

What i mean by that, is that i mainly use 7 strings, but tune them either as a 6string with a doubled high first string (DADGBEE) or in a modified "Drop" tuning. (ADADGBE)..... Just saw them on 10/3 with Korn in Gilford, New Hampshire they were awesome and came away with Johnny April used pick. Last song without a microphone, some must have thought he was using Auto-Tune ? Aaron Lewis is one who doesn't use it.
