DWSDARIUS FISH TANKS haha definitely. He's starting to eat a lot more than usual. So he's gaining alot of thickness. :) thanks for checking the video out. :)
I had a Jardini (aka Pearl Arowana) which was 2 inches long that grew to a max of 1.5 feet. Tough guy. He lasted 10 years and can go without food for 1 month. But they are suicidal. So watch out of your filter, mine rammed it and the filtered water spilled out of the tank when I was away. Poor fella died of no water by himself. He dared not go near my hand - so as savage as they can be he was afraid of my hand. He ate everything, including lizard, cockroaches on top of his usual diet of fresh water shrimp and fries. My Jardini was tough, it could survive without me putting any anti-chlorine. It is a really tough fish.
Hey alec. I have not yet. But probably in the future. Also, Copper is with a friend now. He developed tail biting syndrome and having him alone in a tank by himself is gonna be hard so i gave him to a friend who has a bigger space for him where he can have other fishes to interact with.
Hello does your jardini moves up and down motion? Some times .when no one is around the tank. And gets normal. When he gets attention to us or turn the lights on ? Please helpp me...
I did a 20% water change. I followed to dosage of de Chloe etc etc to the portion of water changed. My ph went through the roof. I thought it was 8 ish was but much higher. Effected the amongst still in the tank. Fish died right in front of me. No emergency tank. No cannister set up in my second tank that had no fish.
There are people in aquarium shops who don’t know what there talking about either. As well as some in UA-cam. I tested my tap water before putting in ph powder. Was already ph7.2. Heartbreaking but I’m over it.
Alejandro marquez hey!!! Here's Copper! Hehehe. I remember you asked me about him. So I think this is a good way to show him. And you should. Although be sure to have a big tank because they would easily outgrow their grow out tanks.
Something Fishy Juno he’s in a 75 gallon right now but can you answer the 2 questions I asked please ... how big did yours end up getting and how long did you have it ? I plan on upgrading eventually into a 265- 300 gallon
I actually dont recommend and arowana for beginners.. I'd say take some chance on hardier and easier to take care of fish first. Or do alot of research before you jump into it.
Jardinii is not pronounced as "jardeenee". There's an extra 'i'. The specific epithet is a commemorative name hence the extra "i" (there are rules in making scientific names). It's pronounced as "jardeenee-eye".
This was a very nice video indeed and your arowana is awesome looking ..... just subbed to your channel for more updates 🤗🤗 I’m in the middle of setting up a new freshwater tank come check it out on my channel 🤗🤗

Thanks for appreciating if
Is this good for beginners?
I would say this will be more of a intermediate or advanced. But I think as long as you have space and you clean the tank well youd be fine
Ok thanks
So what do you think is for beginners? Which type is best?
i things silver arowana is good for beginner
Sapek Putra what about high back arowana or super red arowana?
Buhay pa sya now bro?
Really nice fish! What kind of lid do you have on the tank?
Ricky Ranchu hey, i have a glass lid on top with rocks on top of it.
I'm assuming the tank is drilled leaving no openings up top
there was no room for escape. All the top was locked when i had him.
What happened to this guy? I don’t see any new vids of him
Hi. He developed a tail biting issue. But he is in good hands now.
@@fishoutwithjuno they bite their own tail?
@@predatoria_aquatica yes. I think it's a neurological issue
What kind of lights are you using? I love the look of this
Thank you. It's just the simple flood lights from home depot.
Good info thanks for the tips debating on picking one up
Did you end up picking one?
Something Fishy Juno not yet haha waiting on a response
@@everythingfishy1207 do you have the space for him?
Something Fishy Juno you bet I’ve got a 180 gal setup

Alejandro marquez I live in California too. And I got him at that same price. Did you ask at 6th avenue aquarium?
Something Fishy Juno wat part of California?

how long jardini arowana
Maximum length in aquarium is around around 24 inches in the aquarium hobby. They get bigger in the wild.
How fast do they grow from 4 inch to adult size ?
I honestly think it depends on the amount and quality of food and frequency of water change. Mine grew fast from 2 inches to 7 within 4 months.
Something Fishy Juno how big did yours end up getting ? & how long did you have it
Something Fishy Juno I’m asking because I have a 4 inch gold Jardini

you can choose brazilian arowana / silver arowana for first time,
@@herdikhaerul4067 if you have a big enough tank just maybe. But I think a long as you keep your water clean, good food, youd be fine.
