Don’t get slug repellant, just surround the base of the plant with the used coffee grinds from your coffee machine. It repels slugs and snails but also fertilises the soil.

Speedy recovery Leigh, dont get doing too much too soon. Little steps, you could see how tentatively you were moving and how it hurt ....OUCH. What a shame about your lovely plants.

Date night at the Lodge, so sweet. My husband had 3 hernia surgeries, all mesh. Tough recovery on the last one...lots of bruising.

My husband had hernia surgery a few years ago and has the mesh. He's doing well with it but I was nervous about the mesh as well. I'm glad you tried with out it. Hope you're healing nicely Leigh. 😊
Glad to hear he is doing well. I think the vast majority of mesh repairs go well its just a small percentage of horror stories you hear is enough to put you off these days
Leigh you are so smart to not get the mesh!! I had an inguinal hernia surgery and mesh was used. Now scar tissue has formed because of the surgery and attached to the mesh. The pain is not worse than before surgery but very uncomfortable at times. My doctor calls it “mesh tug”.
Slow and steady on your recovery ❤️🩹 and you’ll be better than ever!!
Too many reports of pain afterwards put me off. Hope yours isn't too bad

I really enjoyed this vlog today. I think Covid has changed you (all of us). I think you two are really taking joy where you are. I mean when you are bored or going crazy or feeling out of shape… your solutions are at hone. Take a drive, or a walk, take care of each other.. have a wee treat, a glass of wine. Whatever the case may be, you just deal with it! I really ❤️ that. It encourages me to find my solutions at home. Since cases are up I’m staying home more and masks are back full force.

HI Guys, I love cruising as much as you both love Disney! Been with Royal Carrib for 13 years. Just been on Anthem of the seas 3 weeks ago first Royal staycation out of UK. Reduced capacity then so only 700 passengers in total. Adult only solarium amazing, shows amazing and dodgems racing my 30 yr old daughter. only went for 4 days but such fun and felt safe onboard with covid rules, quieter sept onwards. julie, Newquay Yes Nick Sticky toffee pudding onboard!!

Go for the cruise. We loved our Viking staycation cruise. The ship had 50% capacity and was so clean and social distancing observed plus masks when walking inside. We did the scenic costal one and got the drinks package so had cocktails before dinner. Everyone was doubled vaccinated and they did spit test every day for covid as they have a lab on board plus a temp test once a day. Hand sanitation’s everywhere
They do sound a good option at the moment

It takes time to recover from any kind of surgery, and there’s no point in trying to rush things. It looks to me as though you were both handling it pretty well in the days immediately following the operation.
Hi guys. Speedy recovery Leigh. We don't have as much freedom here in Republic of Ireland. Need a passport and covid cert to get a coffee but we can walk around a shop for hours touching everything. Lol 😆🤣 stay safe .
Awww Leigh you still look so uncomfortable when your walking and I know the nana socks don't look the best but they are helping to keep you healthy until your a lot more mobile.
I did laugh at Nick saying "thank goodness that's finished " when it was the interval of the show wicked ,you don't half crack me up 😂! Looks like there's plenty puddings to enjoy,that's the healthy diet I like as well..lol

Weather is looking gorgeous. And you are not old fxxxx in the chairs - they dont have a bluetooth speaker and sit with their phones - it would be newspaper and knitting 🤣😂🤣. Indoor mask mandates just went back into effect 2 days ago here in northern California. I have never stopped with mine as the Delta variant is so much more contagious and at my age even although double jabbed as Nick would say, It is the long covid worries me.

Need the hat to protect against the sun, they tell you hats are fine but direct sun should be avoided
