I've done two solo trips, I even drove (never drove the last 20 visits as my late husband always drove) and found that a bit daunting at first, especially driving from the airport but was fine after a couple of hours. Found everyone really pleasant when they realised I was on my own, especially restaurants. I found it easier to get on rides because the solo line was quite short. Would definitely do it again in the future, however I am going in June this year but with my friend, it's our first every girlie trip and can't wait.

I ended up going to WDW on my own in 2016 after my daughter had to pull out of the trip. I was quite daunted at first. But always found someone to talk to. One day at Epcot a gang of Spanish gals "kidnapped " me & we went to drink the World, gathering more stragglers along the way. I stayed at Caribbean Beach and the bus stop was literally at the end of the path from my room. Some days I'd just go to wherever the first bus was going . Plus I was quite near to Disney Springs so went there quite a lot.

I go to see movies by myself all the time - at this point I’ve probably seen more movies alone than I’ve seen with other people. There’s a lot to be said for going to the movies by yourself, I think. You can experience the movie without being influenced by the person you’re with, since you’re not with anybody, and if you go to a matinee as I usually do, there’s usually plenty of space for you to stretch out and not be confined because you’ve got someone sitting on either side of you.
I love going to the cinema on my own especially during the week when its super quiet!

I have done several solo trips since my husband went into full time care 10 ears ago. My next one is a cruise to Norway

I did a random solo trip to Sidari in Corfu in 2008...I LOVED it...
But I was a single pringle at the time, so for me it was easy to do back then. I'd miss Mr N too much to solo vacate, but I am pleased I did it. It's always nice to share the memories with a special someone, so it's non solo all the way for me now
Oh, and cheers for that....reminded me that I also must own remnants from a hovis factory in bottom of pur toaster...that's Fridays task for moi

I went solo last Oct, 11 nights in disney then 5 nights at Universal, had the most amazing time doing all the Halloween things including HHN and honestly don't think I could go with anyone ever again! I have a few friends out there so did have a couple of nights out but spent 90% of the time on my own, pure bliss.
