What makes this video even better is that you've covered almost all types of running ... Hurdles, upstairs, sprints, long distance, cross country, mountain running and parkour
Does anyone ever have this feeling when they're fed up with life and restless? Sometimes you just want to run to feel free, but you put up this wall that you say you can't break even though you know you can break it? You just stopped believing, stopped hoping? If you know this feeling, then you know how much it hurts and excites you when you break through that wall in victory. This kinda reminds me of that.
I used to watch this video every morning before running while i was preparing for Army. For months i watched this daily. It was really motivating. But the biggest motivation is your own level of desire to achieve the aim.
I started running last week. Today's the 7th day. Every night I run 2.5-3miles (eat right.) and every morning I would run less and do 3 circuits of afterburner effect workouts. I went from 161 to 155lbs when I don't feel like doing anything I always watch this. Gonna start trail running soon! Don't eat shit, workout often as you can, stay away from soda and fast foods! Consume less sugar, if you need a fix, eat fruits!
I eat about 2-3 times a week some fast food, I drink a lot of water everyday and for the rest I watch what I eat when I have a competition. Other than that I don't give a total $hit about food. Now running 5km (3.125miles) in just over 17 minutes. All that food stuff is necessary when you are getting professional and getting faster is in the really small details. Focus on your way of walking and makes sure that everything in your head is right, you're not stressed out to much, and you don't get fooled by stupid people who try to take you down. And most important thing, make sure you have fun. Start slow, and give little goals/improvements for yourself if you set high goals you might have a big chance of getting depressed when it isn't working out the way you thought it might be. And giving up is the first thing people do than..
running + calesthenics + stretching + breathing exercises + cold showers and so many more! totally free! be sure to check out 5 Tibetan Rites !!! totally for free!
I started running at home, already lost a tons of weight! It is for free!! Check me channel out, I am documenting it with cool music -> I am doing it voluntarily.
If you are reading this May God remove all your pain, sadness, worries, problems, difficulties and anxieties and replace them with Happiness, Health, Peace, Love and Blessings. Amen
I took 3:43 off my 2 mile time with 2 weeks of hard work. If you need motivation to get you started, just keep track of your times. You can improve really fast the first couple weeks. I was dead set on beating 18 minutes, and I got it tonight at 17:57. I know that ain't a great time, but God it feels good reaching a goal. Concentrate on racing yourself, not others.
@@sushji3761 when you are around this pace like 6min/k it's pretty easy to go down just start to train two time a week jogging and after some week implement a third time in the week of intervals training. With that training on a two miles you can go down to sub 13min in six months less.
running is my dream... but sometimes it feels like I just want to settle for a less challenging job ... thanks to this video I might be changing my mind... I have to stay strong
This video kept on pace more times than I can remember. 2:30 min for me represents decision time, slow down, or keep going… it always make me keep going. 💪🏻
This has to be my most fav video of all time. I just recuperated from an accident and broken bones. Slowly getting back to long walks and running. Thank you for this!
I can't express how this video motivates me. I crave to workout. I crave to run. My life is moving again because of this video. My goal is to run the NYC marathon of 2018. Nothing is going to get in my way. I just started working out again. I thought I needed a trainer. After watching this video , I only need this video.. Thank you . More videos please.
I run every morning on the treadmill on 18 KPH speed. when i watch it while running, i don't feel any pain . i feel more powerful and energetic. Great Video.
This video is not about just running. This vid is about life. Nothing about living is easy. There are some good times. But life in general is a struggle. Every day, every hour, every minute is a challenge. Many people don't have the strength to fight and embrace the pain that comes with living, and using it to progress to the next level. But if you keep pushing, keep moving, keep your focus, and then when you've reached the point where you think you have nothing left (2:25 in video), and you go beyond what you perceive to have been your limit, that is when you've become a true champion...man or woman.
Ten years later this is still one of the best exercise motivational videos for me. Still have a ripped mp3 version of this in my car (yh I'm old, still use a USB pen and say still a lot) 😂
This video nearly had me in tears! Very motivational. I just got some early symptoms of ITBS and have been moping the whole day. Needed this to motivate me back to getting strong and beating the band.
im feeling tired and lazy today cause my legs hurt. but this video makes me want to go out and start running again. thanks for the inspirational video. sometimes we need this to get us back on track.
Monster of a video and the tune too, helps me make that final push when im out there training and the hill gets to steep and my lungs start to burn. Now im running intensly for over 6 months like 15kms a day with 500 m altitude difference. I used to only cycle but now running became a part of my life too. I dont see myself quitting from here on im just gonna push harder and harder. To all the people who are really out of shape or massively overweight my advice would be to clench yout teeth and carry on , soon you will see a huge difference and improvement, just dont quit and dont over do it first couple of weeks and youre good.

I always found many of these commercials funny. They show people with huge muscles sprinting in the middle of nowhere implying that they ran from wherever they live to somewhere outside of civilization at a high speed. Some get it right with the extra slim skeletons, but most don't. As a distance runner I find it hilarious because anyone with serious muscle is almost certainly doing short distance (sprints) not long distance. Also, what's more ridiculous is that even distance runners don't run that fast unless they are doing short races such as a 5K or less, and even then it's usually only near the end and/or beginning. The best way to train outside of workouts is to go slow and run high mileage. No, we don't get jacked up, we don't measure our biceps, we don't have six packs, and we don't stack protein. We are vascular SOB's with patience and a high tolerance to pain. You don't run double digit miles every day by yourself to look good or prove something to someone. It's just you, physics: gravity, rotational inertia; and time.
Way to kill the vibe, it doesn't matter how you run, yes it is good to run long distances at a low pace, but it's better to do hikes, run and walk cycles including sprints, this increases agility much faster. Then running bigger distances at a faster pace becomes easier, and is usually more thrilling, I prefer running from my home, to the town centre, through it, which is so peaceful and quiet in the dark, then back home, I live in Britain so currently it's pitch black till about 7:30 to 8, I get up at 5 to do this, and it is easily a 10 mile + run, it's enjoyable, you should try it ;)
Guy running stadium steps drove their most likely. Guys like Usain not less athlete at short distance. Does impossible- hits 27 mph at top speed. Calvin Cook is pretty jacked and hits 25 mph. Still love long runs. Hills, tempo, fartleks, and intervals help especially do some when close to fatigue. Keep running strong. Your fellow runner.
+Alex Hawkins Agility is a finicky thing to hone, and I agree that cross training, that is: doing different sports outside of your main one, is fantastic for improving your fitness overall. And it's funny you say that you run in the early morning because I run in the night when it is well psst the initial darkness of the late afternoon. No it's not safe, and I don't reccomend it to anyone at all. That said there is something spiritual about barely able to see the trail, and only being able to see the stars. It's a very primal satisfaction. Anyways, people can run how they want, but I took a simple issue with the way this video posed running. It's almost implying that if you are not running at 100% every day and/or you are not extremely muscular that you are doing something wrong. Though any runner worth his salt, those o-so important electrolytes, will tell you that one of the most dedicated feats of courage you can do is deciding to not go hard. To go easy and accept that you are not a juggernaut. Recovery is an important part of any athlete's career and many dedicated athletes do not take it seriously. The consequences of over training are numerous and can lead to the athlete getting actually worse instead of better over time, and eventually not being able to compete for a long time. It's so hard for people that want to be they can be, to not give 100% all the time. Still, keep running man.
Its not for everyone, I'm 22 years old after watching this I almost ran hard for about 3 weeks even after my knees started to getting to hurt, then one day I was done "runners knee", now I can't run for even atleast 5 minutes, the pain will starts to kick in. I cried when I understand that I cannot no longer play soccer. My advice - When its hurt , its a indicator to stop and rest, after pain is gone, run again. No one is going to give a shit about your pain, protect your legs, knees. Don't run through pain.
Thanks to you Rachel! Very glad to see the clip helps. That is not my voice, that is one of my favourite speaker ERIC THOMAS. You may check out his channel. Thanks again! ua-cam.com/users/etthehiphoppreacher
Running is the best way to get my adhd brain going. I need this. Not only do I crave it but I physically cannot do my work and live my life the way I want to if I don't go for a run every morning. Even if there was no improvement in physical skill and appearance, even if I was stuck with what I can do now, I'd still do it every day without fail. Living and existing feels good again since I started this habit. Thanks for the vid
Nike needs to make more inspirational videos they are really good. Nike is the best out there. They make the best shoes, they make the best commercials. THANKS

RUN FOR FREEDOM !!! RUN FOR LIFE !
I ran the half-marathon in 2016 and i was only 14 years my dream is getting close the Marathon (1:54:31 was my time)
