- Better late than never. Rather than just sitting around waiting for my shoulder to heal we decided to climb a few mountains. After a midnight mission into Milford Sounds to try and climb Mitre peak, we were forced to turn back after a few injuries and the weather getting in our way. So we carried on attempting some more ambitious adventures but once again, for various reasons, fell short of our goals. But we made the best of things hiking, exploring and rafting around.
Next thing you know the dislocated shoulder was given the "ok" from my Physio to top rope climbing now that its been 5 weeks.
So we went out to test the waters and here is that video.
We were down, but we are never out.

I mean, they look pretty isolated to me... they all live in a van together so I think going outside into nature is fine as long as they are respecting social distancing practices. Imagine them trying to stay in lock down in a van... they would kill themselves.
Love the video my dude. keep up the great content.
Cheers mate, we just walk every day now, waiting for the lockdown to end so we can climb again. We would have lost our minds in the three of us stayed in the van 😂
Well you said there was more to come and you were right! Awesome to see you at it again! From the Appalachian trail to chasing vertical. Your adventures are non stop! And best of all you take the time to document and video your accomplishments! Thanks for taking us along on your adventures and thanks for thinking of us during this global pandemic! I hope you stay safe and looking forward to someday seeing more of your always entertaining adventures!

possum scene had me cracking up!
Hahaha glad to hear it man, happy to help :D
Epic!
Thanks man, glad you liked it
You have no idea how happy this makes me rn, isolation just got a whole lot better and I am cringing so hard at my old belaying
Haha well you’re solid now, top 3 belayers in Australia I reckon
Nice one guys!- got me wishing there was something to climb where I am right now, but hikes will have to do. I think most of the world are feeling like that dead possum you found right now so thanks for the video- keep social distancing halfway up some rocks and good luck with injury progress man!
Thanks a bunch dude , im glad you liked the video man and hopefully you are allowed to get out there and climb yourself sometime soon, cheers man :D
U’re getting crazy strong dude keep it up
Thanks a bunch man, will do :D
I wear socks in climbing shoes too :D
hahaha I honestly never climb without socks aye
BRO YOUR THE BEST
Oh cheers mate, you’re too kind 😁
Glad you got caught hope they through the book at you
When I met with the police they could tell it was just a simple mistake, and that I had meat no harm, the new rule that I did break had only come in 24 hours earlier. The new rules were explained to me and I had already said I wouldn’t be climbing anymore after I found out about the rule
You have some beautiful scenery down there in NZ. Glad the shoulder is getting better.
Don't get the virus? I'd worry about that mold and mildew first! :D
Yea its really nice aye. Haha yea we had to clean and dry everything because it was getting so moldy in there.
Stay safe, stay isolated!
Yea man, we are just waiting this out for a few more weeks
What was that whole thing in the beginning? Why did you take a 40km walk just to let someone drive you back out? And why was the road blocked?
Yea so the road was closed due to a storm so only tour company’s could drive in, so we hitched a ride back out to save us the walk
Hmmm... Did I detect a slight New Zealand accent coming from Vince at one point?
hahaha you might be right aye, he has been here for a while now
Your next movie should be 'chasing covid'
We’re just sitting in a campsite now waiting for lockdown to end... it’s not a great movie unfortunately
