VENOM had the writer from 50 SHADES OF GREY MORBIUS had the writers from GODS OF EGYPT And KRAVEN has the writers from TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT Sony's Marvel cinematic universe is doomed to fail, and all because of AVI ARAD
I’m curious if Kraven The Hunter will set this universe on track, though I will admit it’s weird to have a Spider-Man Cinematic Universe without Spider-Man
My biggest complaint about Venom Vs Carnage is that Carnage doesn’t really feel like Carnage. What’s great about Carnage in the comics is that he’s so much more than just a symbiote, he can drain people to husks, form weapons, and absolutely annihilate even with his small size. Venom is the large and uses brute strength while carnage is the small more conniving symbiote.
I honestly think the two Venom movies are pretty great: they are very fun, they don’t take themselves too much seriously, and with the tone they are pretty much accurate to the tones of the 90s comics of Venom, where he was pretty goofy and always jokes around like in the movies. So far I didn’t like only Morbius, but I’m curious for Kraven and hyped for Venom 3.
Sad that a villain as cool as Kraven the Hunter's first onscreen appearance will be in a Sony spin-off movie. At least with Venom general audiences remembered him from Spider-Man 3. Ah well, at least he'll be the villain of the next Spider-Man game which will hopefully save his reputation with general audiences who've never read a comic with the character if the film ends up being as bad as the others. I just don't want someone as badass as Kraven to fall into Morbius status.
@@demonking3673 Not really. It became a meme because nobody saw it, which is why people made up fake scenes, it doesn't matter if they're real since nobody will watch the movie to prove it. The movie is just really boring, about as good as 'Incredible Hulk' or 'Ghost Rider'.
I knew how bad this Morbius was gonna be when I saw it had the same writers from "Gods of Egypt" And "The Last Witch Hunter" If that's not bad enough, they're also behind MADAME WEB
21:05 It's not less modulated, rather is the fact that in this movie Venom is voiced ONLY by Tom Hardy, when in the 1° Movie he was voiced by Tom Hardy & the Late Brad Venable at the same time to make that distorsioned vocie effect (My theory is that due to Brad passing away in 2020 the production decided to only use hardy & that's why Venom voice hits & hears different)
With the Sonyverse, I’ve only seen the Venom movies and only plan on seeing them until they get a Spider-Man in here. I haven’t seen Morbius and don’t plan to, and for everything else like Kraven, at the moment, I just don’t care. I’ve heard that a Spider-Man might be in Madame Web, but even still I just don’t care about the stuff that isn’t Venom even when I thought Let There Be Carnage was kinda eh because the Venom movies have been fun, and I’m not feeling confident in the other stuff, I’m just waiting for Venom 3 and hoping it’ll be good
I loved the first Venom movie. But, I was disappointed with the second one. Didn't like how Carnage got less screen time than Venom. And the fact that he got one shot killed at the end. And the fact that Venom and Eddie spent most of the movie fighting like a married couple, I thought that was just dumb and drawn out too long.
I think Venom 3 should involve Anti-Venom and have Toxin initially as a villain, but then Venom is actually the villain and Toxin teams up with Anti-Venom against Venom. I think that would be a unique direction to take for a sequel and like you said, the well of Venom characters is starting to dry up.
From the beginning when they said that this is a universe without Spider-Man, was already a red flag. But saying that villains are gonna be antiheroes, this was dead on arrival. I'm glad I never watched any of them, but God, I'm so sorry Stan Lee. These idiots are in charge of your characters.
You know when you said you were shocked Carnage wasn't the villain for Venom 1. Well originally he was actually. You can even find concept arts on Google for the first movie, some of them even being that part where the 2 symbiote are getting mixed, except that in the concept arts it's actually Carnage and not Riot that fights Venom.
As much as I enjoyed Let there be Carange, the second I heard it was rated PG-13 I was so upset. Carnage is not a PG-13 villain and the fact that he was killed off means it’s going to be such a long before we get a rated R Carange movie
I like all three films to varying degrees *shrugs" Venom 1 is carried by Tom Hardy giving his all even if the story takes too long spinning it's wheels. But once it gets going it's really fun. I love that Let There Be Carnage is an under 90mins bit of action-heavy fun. A modern day comic book films being less than 2hrs and just being dedicated to watching fun performances and well done modern VFX-based action? Yes, more of this please. And Morbius is a special case. The conversation around that film is everything I hate about online film culture. I won't sit here and wax on about how Morbius is some misunderstood gem. But it is a breezy and entertaining comic book action film with better-than-assumed action scenes and VFX. Matt Smith is a blast as he hams it up and I like the films dreary, Blade-esque aesthetics. The the VFX used to showcase Morbius's powers actually give the film some flair. Meme culture is just so exhausting. It creates this massive, pulsating blob of people just joining in just to join in and creates an obnoxious narrative around things that don't deserve it. Morbius isn't good enough or bad enough to be the center of a smug internet meme movement. It's hardly the worst cbm ever made. It's not even the worst CBM of that year....coughcoughThor4coughcough. IMO, without any sense of irony, Morbius is more memorable than most of what the MCU has shat out in the last few years. I lowkey look forward to the Sony Spidey spin-off movies than actual MCU movies now. And no, I'm not being ironic or hyperbolic.
I think the point about the memes surrounding Morbius was just how bland and uninspired it was. You're right that it wasn't the most awful thing ever, but I think that's the point: it wasn't even so bad that it becomes funny. It was just so bland and by the numbers that it ended up committing the worst sin a movie can make: being forgettable. Morbius represents the kind of bland comic book movie we would get it in the early 2000's, and I think most people just feel like we've moved beyond that aesthetic. The movie felt dated before it even released in theaters. Honestly, what Sony should be doing is forgetting about building a live action universe and focusing on building a universe centered around their Spider-Verse movies. They've proven themselves to be more profitable and critically acclaimed, and they could totally make a bunch of Spider-Man spinoffs in that style and bring them together for bigger Spider-Verse crossover events. Hell, they could even make villain spinoff movies in that style if they wanted to.
I will say, while I don't hate these movies, I do feel very little towards them. I think their overall biggest issue is that they don't really do a lot to separate themselves from stuff like the MCU, so they tend to just feel like discount MCU projects. I can still have fun with them as they are and they're not terrible or anything, (Like, while I don't think the venom movies are great, they can be fun and have some fun stuff in them) but I don't really have much of a reason to come back to them. Still though, I can still watch them as they come out if I want to since again, they're not exactly awful.
Honestly they should’ve put me as the Kevin Fiege figure for this universe, if I was a Kevin Fiege figure of this new universe I first would call it the Sinister Six Universe this is how I would do this cinematic universe. 1. Venom “ I would make this the origin story of venom & also the bond of both Venom & Eddie Brock, I’d also make it more of a horror movie and make venom a more anti-hero but also making him the kind of anti-hero that isn’t afraid to use harsh & brutal methods, I’d also make it rated R & be bloody & gory but also being its own film and not trying to set up this venomverse yet but also leaving room as well and not teasing anything yet. 2. Morbius “ I would make this also rated R & bloody & gory because cmon Morbius is basically a Vampire, how could u mess that up, I’d make it become another origin but also make it a more horror movie, setting up Morbius as a villian for the venomverse but also not connecting it to anything or teasing anything yet.” 3. Kraven the Hunter” now from seeing the trailer I think that it looks stupid, I mean cmon now, I’d do a more proper origin story to Kraven the Hunter & but also not giving him powers, he’s a tough & vicious hunter and setting him up as a Anti-hero as well, just basically telling the origin story of Kraven the Hunter, not teasing anything or connecting anything yet.” 4. The Rhino “ Id have this movie be like a werewolf/ a hulk movie adding in horror elements but also big action elements as well, and this is gonna be the Rhino where he actually turns into the Rhino permanently and not a robotic suit or costume, I’d again tell the origin of the rhino and figuring out how to control his power and at the end I would tease Kraven the Hunter at the end credit scene.” 5. Venom 2: let there be carnage “ idk whatever anyone says but I’m leaving Let there be carnage as it is, because I love this film and this film is perfect & fine for the universe, but the only change I would do is not kill carnage off, and instead have carnage be contained by Osborn Industries & at the end tease Green Goblin at the end credit scene.” 6. Doctor Octopus “ I’d make this movie again a origin story but more then that, I’d have to be rival film, a rival between Dr. Otto and Dr. Osborn over who’s invention would be the future, have it sort of similar to the story arch from Spider-Man PS4, but have him lose his legs and can’t walk so he decides to make the tentacles but also at the end Dr. Otto grows a hatred and finally becomes Dr. Octopus, a Frankenstein of the Sinister Six Universe but also tease a Doctor Octopus Vs Green Goblin movie at the end credit scene. 7. Green Goblin “ I’d make this a origin story of the green goblin but also making Dr. Osborn’s ambitions & greed get over his head & he becomes the joker, I’d make this movie feel similar to the joker 2019 film and have it be a more psychological horror movie, with some teases of Dr. Otto before he became Dr. Octopus, & teases of Dr. Morgan Micheals before he became Morbius, and at the end make him lose a loved one, I’d say Henry Osborn his son & not a love interest, and the end credit scene there can be a tease of Max Dillion to set up a Electro movie” 8. Kraven Vs Rhino “ I’d make this a versus movie, keeping with the R rating but also making this movie a lot of fun. Have a lot of cool fighting scenes between these 2 characters & at the end have Kraven the Hunter weaken Rhino & have Morbius stopping them both & saying that something big going to happen and that he needs both of them, the end credit scene would be them on a cargo plane or boat to New York” 9. Electro “ this movie would show a insecure Max Dillion getting a job at Osborn Industries and showing how lonely, insecure, and how he is treated by his coworkers and neighbors, but one day he gets into a accident and starts trying to figure out what happened and how to control his powers for good but then when he gets continuously ignored and treated wrongly, his motives change and he becomes evil, he starts destroying the Oscorp Industries but stopped by the Green Goblin & giving Electro a chance to get revenge on those who wronged him and use his powers for his benefits, Green Goblin Manipulating Electro, also lets give Max Dillion 1 friend in the movie who also at the end credit scene becomes the Shocker.” 10. Doctor Octopus vs Green Goblin “ this movie would take place at the same time as Kraven Vs Rhino, the movie wouldn’t be a fun movie as Kraven Vs Rhino would be, it would be much darker and continue with the rival storyline between Osborn & Otto, this would still be Rated R and electro would make a cameo in this movie along with the Vulture as well, electro being on the Green Goblin side and Vulture on Doctor Octopus side, at the end of the movie Morbius would appear and stop them from killing each other and telling them he needs their help in this and at the end credit scene Mephisto would make a cameo coming to destory the Sinister Six universe. 10. Venom 3 “ venom 3 would be the movie where the origin of She-venom takes place and this is would also be a romantic comedy mystery movie, venom & Eddie trying to figure out who is the She-Venom but also add the climax both Venom & She-venom fighting riot, toxin, & shriek and the end both Venom & She-Venom kill all of them accept for Shriek who survives and rescued by Carnage after escaping Oscorp during Electro’s Rampage, at the end credit scene we would see Morbius asking both Venom & She-Venom if they could come with him and help him, She-Venom says no and says she is gonna hunt down shriek who survived, and Venom accepts and comes with Morbius. 11. Sinister Six “ this movie would have Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, Morbius, Kraven the Hunter, The Rhino, & Venom as the Sinister Six, Morbius informs them why he has gathered them all, and talks about Mephisto and his ambition to take over their universe, they don’t like each other and must find a way to work together as anti-hero’s to destroy Mephisto and his terror away from their home.” See I basically did the work for them, i setted up Phase 1 of this Universe which Sony clearly couldn’t, I think I did a lot better job then Sony, and honestly think this could be a great idea, I’m not gonna say a lot for Phase 2 but I think they should do another a Vulture movie, a green goblin movie introducing Hobgoblin, a scorpion movie, a psychological thriller mysterio movie, the lizard movie, Mister Negative movie, a prowler movie, a Hydro Man movie, a Grim Reaper movie, a doctor Octopus movie that introduces Lady Octopus, a sandman movie, a shocker movie, & a She-Venom movie with She-Venom tracking down Shriek but also discovers Carnage so She-Venom takes on with Kraven the Hunter both Shriek & Carnage, with killing Shriek but Carnage locked up with Cletus Kassidy somehow seperated from his symbiote and locked up in a Insane Asylum and the Symbiote at Oscorp. A Morbius movie that has Morbius exploring the Multiverse and discovering how in every other universe there is a hero named Spider-Man and how there is a Society of Spider-Men and in each spider-man’s universe all of their villians are killed, at the end credit scene we can see a tease of a new Sinister Six movie and creating a society of villians against the Spider Society because of the incursions that the Spider Society has been up too that could destory the entire multiverse. And for a second Sinister Six team up movie I think should be called “ Sinister Six: League of Villians “ the movie would be about the rising number of villians out there and Morbius along with the other Sinister Six team decide to form a league of villians and incorporating them all and defeating a Alchemax who’s been capturing the rising super villians and doing tests on them some members on the Sinister Six team would die or leave the team and get replaced by new members and at the end of the movie the Sinister Six team would consist of Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, The Lizard, Vulture, Electro, & Mysterio. Morbius would die but become remembered for starting the Sinister Six, at the end credit scene we would get a cameo of Spider-Man 2099 being the next hero for the Sinister Six to defeat, and that would be Phase 2 of the Sinister Six Universe. Phase 3 would be a Spider-Man 2099 movie and origins of Miguel O’Hara and his Spider-Man, at the end credit it would tease him creating a spider-society. Next movie would be a Sinister Six vs Spider Society movie maybe titled Sinister Six: Across the Spiderverse maybe idk, and I think I’d make this a 2 part story. The Sinister Six would be battling every version of Spider-Man and also trying to stop Spider-Man 2099 from continuing the Incursions that his Spider Society has been doing and at the climax of Part 2 bringing the rest of the League of Villians would also help the Sinister Six team defeat the Spider-Society and stopping them from the Incursions but it would be too late, and I think this is what Marvel would take over since the next film would be Avengers: Secret Wars and then I would leave it to that honestly. No more sinister Six movies, I’m done lol
I actually really liked how goofy the venom movies are. Morbius doesn’t really have anything going for it since it’s just some vampire dude. Venom and Eddie’s dynamic is pretty fun to see
Hate to admit Avi Arad was right because man stepped on Raimi’s feet a lot in productions. But yeahhh, I did have multiple venom toys after SM3 and I even got the comic series. So he’s right character prints money he’s sick
I've been a massive fan of Venom ever since his creation wayyyy back in 1988. And while I think the Venom movies are fun and funny, they're not exactly what I had hoped for. I loved Venom as a creepy, hulking villain. Instead they made him a goofball and to make things even worse, both movies are rated PG-13. Venom is a character that should be rated R!!
You know if Tom Hardy doesn't want play Venom anymore after the 3rd movie, they could introduce Flash Thompson into that universe to take up the role of Agent Venom for the 4th movie.
Off topic but this was one of my favorite series of videos you've done. It was nice reflecting on All of the different spiderman movies Getting a new perspective on the way they were doing things Is seeing a different point of view and frame of mind Compared to a lot of other videos which were as good as they were made sometimes just saying the same thing over and over. Here it looked up like I was getting a new freash prospective on these movies that really made me think about them some more. It was also nice Hearing about the canceled projects And just the buffoonery going on behind the corporate scene. Great stuff pup great stuff
I like both Venom movies. The movies are just turn-off your brain like fun. Unlike the MCU, you dont need to connect every movie together into one with Venom. Their just self-contained stories that talk about black goo and a loser. I like how in the first movie,Venom and Eddie HAVE to cooperate instead of the comic making them come together just because they hate the same guy. It works for me. The second movie also has some cool concepts. I like how Venom doesn't want to fight Eddie cause Carnage is red. Maybe the strength a Symbiote has depends on it's color. I like how Venom 2 does the Carnage and Shriek thing. Thats also a comic thing. And the Lethal Protector coming from a spin-off series of the same name. Only negative of the Venom movies i think of are the villians. Riot and Carnage just need more personality. And Carnage was kind of a disappointment. I wanted to see Carnage slash people's head off or devour someone's stomach. But the movie was pg-13,which i understand tbh. In Conclusion, i got bit with the VENOM and fortunately i never recovered.
Being real venom is the only thing holding this franchise right now but will kraven get the universe on track but if venom 3 is gonna be rated r than we might have a chance yes i said we
I love the Venom movies! It's cool you made a video about them and nothing else! Honestly I think the SSU is off to a great start with these two movies.
I know people have very mixed opinions of the Venom movies and I get it there not gonna be for everyone's taste but for me I love these movies, yes maybe they could of been better and sadly covid-19 screwing over Venom 2 production and all but are they fun? Hell yeah there fun! They embrace the goofy campey nature of the 90s comics there not afraid to be weird ether. Without these movies I wouldn't of never gotten into Venom or Spider Man, so in a way they mean a lot to me despite what people say. Also I think Eddie and Venom make for a cute couple because I'm a sucker for romance. :> It's also why most people see these movies as a romantic comedy between a man and a symbiote.
I would love for there to be a Spider-Man in this universe and that Adrian Toomes' plans are to form the Sinister Six and not gather villains to become a Suicide Squad, Venom could help Spider-Man as he proves to be a good person in this universe
@@maikolmiola5760 maybe he will be eddie brock of the mcu universe his cool as ivar in viking so i think he will be good as eddie brock aka venom in mcu
Even though its lame that they teased a crossover venom might have a concrete reason to hate spider man once Peter gets it and rejects it and Peter was the reason that symbiote got separated from its other half and Eddie and mayne it'll have a different personality cus its basically a new life form now ig, not as cool as it couda been tho
Venom 1 took place in the nighttime for the halves of the film which i think makes the film look quite bland. Also i recommend Upgrade (2018) for anyone who's looking similar film with kinda similar actor but with slightly better story 😁
Wait a minute why is nobody talking about kain the clone spider man he can sting you with his forearm spikes he can be the spider man of there universe the clone of the real spider man since it says el muertos dad was stung by spider man
If i'm going to be honest, I saw Morbius in theaters the saturday of opening weekend with my buddy. There were 3 hilarious moments, 2 being unintentional. I love the movie, but I'm disappointed so much from the trailers was cut from it. It's likely the movie was more cohesive before the final version was Frankenstein'd together.
11:22 I actually find this to be my worst problem with this film. It works as a standalonw character, but in my opinion Eddie using the symbiote as a way to enhance himself is just better. Spider-Man 3 had some of that. Eddie referencing Peters life with some one liners woth details only the suit would know, and respecting the audience to already know that means the suit has given him access to his memories. Eddie in my opinion should be the one talking with the suit on, becuas it feels more like a partnership at that point when its Eddie's words coming out of the symbiotes mouth. Whenever the shit comes on it feels like Eddie is just reduced to a battery for Venom to use.
I have a bit of a soft spot for the first Venom movie. I first saw it at the movies with my then partner and we both really enjoyed it. While I was (and still kinda am) disappointed that they didn't go all in with the horror angle like in the trailers, it did give me something I never knew I needed. The dynamic between Venom and Eddie, I would binge watch a show that's just those two goofing off I love it. I was also surprised at the fact that both Anne and her partner (forgot the guy's name) are actually decent human beings. Given how tropey the movie is I expected Anne at least was going to ignore Eddie at best and act un-needily hostile at worst, even though Eddie does sort of bring the hostility upon himself by acting like a dick at the start of the movie. I'm probably wording it all weird but what I'm trying to say is Anne's actions do make sense and I think they're realistic. Carlton Drake and Riot are boring and so are the scenes with Riot slowly going back to San Francisco, those bits should have just been cut. Also while I think the final fight scene is cool in concept, Specifically the bit where Venom and Riot go gloopy and start flinging bits of each other all over the place, It doesn't work at all because in the moment you can't tell who is who, only when its paused you can tell what's going on and you have to look at it for a bit before you can tell the difference between Venom and Riot. Overall, The first Venom is my favourite out of the bunch. Venom: Let There Be Carnage (which I'll just call Venom 2 for simplicity) left me feeling a bit hollow when I first saw it, and I haven't re-watched it since because I was salty at the post credits scene. For context, I absolutely despise the MCU, I hate the fact in order to understand any of the movies in full I have to watch other things I don't care about. I believe it should have ended at Endgame. I am so glad they went back on the decision to put Venom in the MCU because the MCU is trash and boring to me. I miss when Marvel movies didn't need to be interconnected for no reason. And I miss when they were actually fun. I didn't mean for that to become a mini-rant about the MCU, so back to Venom 2. Since I've only seen it once and that was a while ago, I don't remember much of it. I was happy at the fact we got more Venom-Eddie banter, character development and goofs, but was confused at how Venom didn't keel over and die at the rave due to the music. Also, they delivered on another thing I never knew I needed, queer-coded Venom. The Lethal Protector bit got old and annoying for me really fast. I'd say more about the movie but I don't remember enough about it, However I'll watch it again with fresh eyes later today and update my thoughts on it later. Morbius is mid. When I first saw it was with my current partner and a friend sent it to me via discord. it was very low quality which made it funnier to us. There's a lot of memes and in-jokes related to Morbius, but really the only memorable and funny bit in the movie itself was the infamous scene with Matt Smith dancing while getting dressed. My memories relating to Morbius are funny, but the actual movie, looking back on it was boring. I only plan to watch it again because I want to see it in a higher quality so that I can actually see whats going on and to show my mum because I wanna see what her reaction to it all is.
43:38 It’s not. For one I’m not giving Sony credit because of how incompetent they are making Spidey movies outside of Venom and Spider-Verse (they were the people that made Morbius bomb twice), and two you can’t suddenly use Spider-Verse logic with the live action films because they’re clearly using different rule sets when it comes to the multiverse. Because simply put, if that’s the case why weren’t Tobey and Andrew and the SM/TASM series characters glitching out in NWH?
I get your criticism for Drake's company being called the Lift Foundation, but that's an actual place from the comics. It's the place that the Scream, Riot, Phage, Lasher, and Agony symbiotes originally came from. They kidnapped Venom and started taking bits of him to make new symbiotes. Idk how relevant to the comics they are now, but I thought it was a nice nod to the old comics. I do agree about Drake's personality and motive though. He really was kind of a nothing burger of a character.
@DragunovSigma I do indeed do my own research. But, with everything that's going on both in universe and business side, anything is possible. They can't even decide if the MCU universe is earth 19999 or 616 (it's 19999) so nothing is set in stone lol. Contracts change, writers change, and CEOs change. Anything that has been decided as canon will and can be change by the next writer or Feigie person. As Stan Lee said, "it all depends on the writer". It is just fiction after all. But, I'll entertain your opinion. with all the possibilities of the multiverse and the consequences of them messing with it, Andrew's earth and Tom's earth could be merged into one or one of them gets displaced permanently.
If Miles is the SSU Spider-Man, I don't mind as long as they do him right! Don't give him the red and blue suit, give him the black suit with the red webbing and spider logos.
Kraven will (probably) not feature Spider-Man either, so what's even the point? It'll just be some generic wilderness/hunting-themed origin story. It sounds so boring
How the hell are these movies made under the same studio as Spiderverse? You could not find a bigger gulf in terms of quality in a single franchise than with these.
I think after getting use to the way the Sony villain verse is going I will enjoy kraven at the least because the feeling of disappointment is out the way
Something I've always wanted to see in a vampire hero/villain is having the ability to control their own blood; allowing them to morph it and control its density to create weapons. They're vampires, give them blood-based abilities. XD
I really hope Andrew Garfield is the Spider Man for this universe. He definitely deserves another shot because of how bad TASM2 was (if the SSU actually gets better)
@@DragunovWayne I never said he was apart of this universe or that this was a continuation of the amazing spider man duology, I’m saying that I think that they should get him back to be the spider man of this universe because he deserves to get a do over.
@@DragunovWayne why doesn’t it make sense? I know he most likely won’t be asked to return, but I am just saying I would enjoy it if he would return to get a second chance.
@@nojorooney Because that universe has no connection with the duology and it wouldn't even make sense if Andrew was Spider-Man, unless they want to bring a variant of him that I find bizarre and could even be Tom Holland who is now the main Spider-Man and Disney would probably be involved in Spider-Man in the Sonyverse
Yes he left a piece of the symbiote in the MCU, so we can now have Venom in the MCU meet Tom Hollands Peter Parker. However, Eddie Brock was transported back to the SSU with knowledge of Spiderman in New York City... so he's still going to go and find him and will come across..... Andrew Garfield's Spiderman!
They're more like anti heroes than villains. I'd call it the antiverse if I were them. The antiverse is a thing in both dc and marvel already but the name in this case would be quite fitting. The Sony antiverse (The SA)
It wont happen but what i want Sony to do is to cast someone else as peter parker Spider-Man in this universe and have them fight venom, morbius and kraven because i dont want them to ruin the stories of Tobey Maguires Spider-Man, Andrew Garfields Spider-Man and Tom Hollands Spider-Man by just shoving them into this universe like how they ruined michael keatons vulture from Spider-Man homecoming by putting him into morbius
If there is Spider-Man of course it will be with another actor, this earth is (TRN688) and it is not the same as Tobey or Andrew, but I am in doubt if there is a Spider-Man in this universe there will be spin off films before the Sinister Six and if the MCU's Vulture will return to his universe
So if people actually want a good version of a venom film just watch upgrade, obviously it’s not the same but it’s a way better movie about symbiotic relationships etc
You can't do Venom origin without Spider-man, simple. There's no development if you don't show him as a villain first, wich those movies never do, they never go all the way to show you they aren't anti-heroes
I want this sony universe to just do its own version of peter parker Spider-Man and have him fight venom, morbius and kraven I don't want Sony to use tobeys Spider-Man, andrews Spider-Man and toms Spider-Man
That animation is so Tim burton-esque, and it was great. But what game is this footage from? I wanna play that, is it mobile? At first I thought it was friend or foe but I don't think it is. But morbius's eyes look like Rick and Morty eyes lol. I kinda liked Morbius
It made a solid box office, grossing just over $700mil globally, but it underperformed to Sony’s standards - it made less money than TASM 1 and is still the lowest-grossing live-action Spider-Man movie (not including spin-offs). My bet is that Sony was chasing Avengers money - $1bil. I’m sure they thought that by showing shit like all the teased villains in trailers and announcing online the planned cinematic universe, they assumed it would hit $1bil regardless of the film’s quality. They wanted TASM 2 to be the launchpad for their Spider-Man cinematic universe, and between the lower box office returns and overwhelmingly negative critical reception, I can definitely understand why they decided to scrap any planned sequels and reboot again.
I don't entirely get it either, but I think basically Sony as a studio were in financial hot-water and they needed Spider-Man to make more money than that.
VENOM had the writer from 50 SHADES OF GREY
MORBIUS had the writers from GODS OF EGYPT
And KRAVEN has the writers from TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT
Sony's Marvel cinematic universe is doomed to fail, and all because of AVI ARAD

Kraven looks just like Morbius honestly.

You could make it work….but I think it’s too disconnected and vague
Its almost a crime because it'd love to see a Spider Man poke ad joke with these characters like Morbius and esp. Kraven.
I mean kingpin fucks around with daredevil as much as he does spidey
Venom 3 will be directed by the writer from 50 Shades of Grey
In her directorial debut
@@Zombiesnyder13is that supposed to make me less hyped?
@@donatodicugno3630 you tell me
@@Zombiesnyder13then sorry to tell you, but this really doesn’t make me feel any less hyped
In fairness, she didn't write the book.
Morbius became an eternal meme because of how bad the movie was
@@demonking3673 Morbius the living meme
I’m just mad that kraven doesn’t have his accent
@@demonking3673
Not really. It became a meme because nobody saw it, which is why people made up fake scenes, it doesn't matter if they're real since nobody will watch the movie to prove it. The movie is just really boring, about as good as 'Incredible Hulk' or 'Ghost Rider'.
I knew how bad this Morbius was gonna be when I saw it had the same writers from "Gods of Egypt"
And "The Last Witch Hunter"
If that's not bad enough, they're also behind MADAME WEB
Ohhhhh for fucks sake.....just as I was slightly more interested in that thing.
21:05 It's not less modulated, rather is the fact that in this movie Venom is voiced ONLY by Tom Hardy, when in the 1° Movie he was voiced by Tom Hardy & the Late Brad Venable at the same time to make that distorsioned vocie effect
(My theory is that due to Brad passing away in 2020 the production decided to only use hardy & that's why Venom voice hits & hears different)

Miles morales should never be in live action. Spider-man in general is just better translated in animation.

Andrew Garfield could also be the spider men of Sonyverse. People really want his third film, so why not?
It sounds like he’s resisting a demonic ritual at the end
The first red flag was the PG-13 rating
It really breaks my heart seeing how oblivious Stan was with how Avi Arad had been ruining his characters all these years while he was still alive
I think even anti hero is generous to be honest…venom is very heroic
They want to turn them into Marvel's Suicide Squad, I didn't like that idea
@@DragunovWayne, no they want to turn them into the Sinister Six. Sony has been dying to do that for years.

You know when you said you were shocked Carnage wasn't the villain for Venom 1. Well originally he was actually. You can even find concept arts on Google for the first movie, some of them even being that part where the 2 symbiote are getting mixed, except that in the concept arts it's actually Carnage and not Riot that fights Venom.
so Drake was gonna be Carnage before Cletus then?
@@JoeChilltonI assume they got woody harolsin first and wanted carnage before saving him for the sequel and replacing carnage with a d list Symbiote
I wanted at least Ben Reilly to be the Spider-Man of the Sonyverse, I don't accept this universe having great villains but not having Spider-Man
Damn Pup your work ethic is CRAZY
As much as I enjoyed Let there be Carange, the second I heard it was rated PG-13 I was so upset. Carnage is not a PG-13 villain and the fact that he was killed off means it’s going to be such a long before we get a rated R Carange movie
I like all three films to varying degrees *shrugs"
Venom 1 is carried by Tom Hardy giving his all even if the story takes too long spinning it's wheels.
Not a bad point at all about Love & Thunder. I too think Morbius was blown out of proportion, even though I'm not fond of it.
No more hour and a half CBMS please. I agree everything else
Hell, they could even make villain spinoff movies in that style if they wanted to.
venom 2 could’ve actually been pretty good, it just had the mediocre sony vibe with it only being 90 mins and pg13
#IBlameAviArad
2. Morbius “ I would make this also rated R & bloody & gory because cmon Morbius is basically a Vampire, how could u mess that up, I’d make it become another origin but also make it a more horror movie, setting up Morbius as a villian for the venomverse but also not connecting it to anything or teasing anything yet.”
3. Kraven the Hunter” now from seeing the trailer I think that it looks stupid, I mean cmon now, I’d do a more proper origin story to Kraven the Hunter & but also not giving him powers, he’s a tough & vicious hunter and setting him up as a Anti-hero as well, just basically telling the origin story of Kraven the Hunter, not teasing anything or connecting anything yet.”
4. The Rhino “ Id have this movie be like a werewolf/ a hulk movie adding in horror elements but also big action elements as well, and this is gonna be the Rhino where he actually turns into the Rhino permanently and not a robotic suit or costume, I’d again tell the origin of the rhino and figuring out how to control his power and at the end I would tease Kraven the Hunter at the end credit scene.”
5. Venom 2: let there be carnage “ idk whatever anyone says but I’m leaving Let there be carnage as it is, because I love this film and this film is perfect & fine for the universe, but the only change I would do is not kill carnage off, and instead have carnage be contained by Osborn Industries & at the end tease Green Goblin at the end credit scene.”
Morgan Micheals before he became Morbius, and at the end make him lose a loved one, I’d say Henry Osborn his son & not a love interest, and the end credit scene there can be a tease of Max Dillion to set up a Electro movie”
8. Kraven Vs Rhino “ I’d make this a versus movie, keeping with the R rating but also making this movie a lot of fun. Have a lot of cool fighting scenes between these 2 characters & at the end have Kraven the Hunter weaken Rhino & have Morbius stopping them both & saying that something big going to happen and that he needs both of them, the end credit scene would be them on a cargo plane or boat to New York”
9. Electro “ this movie would show a insecure Max Dillion getting a job at Osborn Industries and showing how lonely, insecure, and how he is treated by his coworkers and neighbors, but one day he gets into a accident and starts trying to figure out what happened and how to control his powers for good but then when he gets continuously ignored and treated wrongly, his motives change and he becomes evil, he starts destroying the Oscorp Industries but stopped by the Green Goblin & giving Electro a chance to get revenge on those who wronged him and use his powers for his benefits, Green Goblin Manipulating Electro, also lets give Max Dillion 1 friend in the movie who also at the end credit scene becomes the Shocker.”
11. Sinister Six “ this movie would have Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, Morbius, Kraven the Hunter, The Rhino, & Venom as the Sinister Six, Morbius informs them why he has gathered them all, and talks about Mephisto and his ambition to take over their universe, they don’t like each other and must find a way to work together as anti-hero’s to destroy Mephisto and his terror away from their home.”
See I basically did the work for them, i setted up Phase 1 of this Universe which Sony clearly couldn’t, I think I did a lot better job then Sony, and honestly think this could be a great idea, I’m not gonna say a lot for Phase 2 but I think they should do another a Vulture movie, a green goblin movie introducing Hobgoblin, a scorpion movie, a psychological thriller mysterio movie, the lizard movie, Mister Negative movie, a prowler movie, a Hydro Man movie, a Grim Reaper movie, a doctor Octopus movie that introduces Lady Octopus, a sandman movie, a shocker movie, & a She-Venom movie with She-Venom tracking down Shriek but also discovers Carnage so She-Venom takes on with Kraven the Hunter both Shriek & Carnage, with killing Shriek but Carnage locked up with Cletus Kassidy somehow seperated from his symbiote and locked up in a Insane Asylum and the Symbiote at Oscorp.

It's also why most people see these movies as a romantic comedy between a man and a symbiote.
Maybe they are doing Kraven's childhood so they can introduce the Chameleon
Still can't get over how they are getting away with having venom especially formed like that, without spiderman

What if kaine is the spiderman who stings?
I want Andrew Garfield to be the VenomVerse Spidey
Tom Hardy's Venom is from Earth (TRN688) and Andrew's Spiderman is from Earth (120703) so they aren't from the same universe
Also the 89 joker and the green goblin we’re not in an extended universe situation
I love your Venom impression.
How was the Venom 2 rewatch?
@@shupasopni Yea I liked it much better than when I first watched it, that's for sure. I think I was just salty because of the after credits scene.
Sony's Villianverse is the New Fox-Men.
I would've saved morbius for a blade movie ngl. It would've been way easier to explain things
I hope that Venom is set in Andrew's universe, or at least No Way Home caused Venom and Andrew's Spidey to be displaced together.
What if venom dosent back to his universe and go to andrew garfild univers

@@Ragnar_5522 Do your own research if you have this question, Andrew has no connection to this universe, neither he nor Tobey
The Venom films are films I keep watching over and over. I think they’re great comic book films.
Yea Morbius was not all that I was busy watching Werewolf by Night 🌕🐺
Sony is an L
Avi Arad Basically screws everything up from the get-go
My only complaint on Venom 2 is the runtime.
There's other spidermen who have stingers,it may not be miles. It may be a darker version of Peter, maybe one who kills 😉 😉
Like Kaine aka the third scarlet spider could be the Spider-Man in this film universe he has stingers
@@NadeemShekh-uy9zn exactly
Tom Hardy and Jared Leto should have a new movie called Venom versus Morbius
How the hell are these movies made under the same studio as Spiderverse? You could not find a bigger gulf in terms of quality in a single franchise than with these.
I think after getting use to the way the Sony villain verse is going I will enjoy kraven at the least because the feeling of disappointment is out the way
Something I've always wanted to see in a vampire hero/villain is having the ability to control their own blood; allowing them to morph it and control its density to create weapons. They're vampires, give them blood-based abilities. XD
You mean like Skarlet from 'Mortal Kombat'?
He knew what he was doing with that thumbnail. Yk most of us use dark mode
Watched your Flash video...and now I'm here with Son'y Spider-Man mediocore-verse.
I really hope Andrew Garfield is the Spider Man for this universe. He definitely deserves another shot because of how bad TASM2 was (if the SSU actually gets better)
Andrew is not part of this universe, he has no connection to this universe and if there is a Spider-Man it will definitely be with another actor
@@DragunovWayne I never said he was apart of this universe or that this was a continuation of the amazing spider man duology, I’m saying that I think that they should get him back to be the spider man of this universe because he deserves to get a do over.
@@nojorooney It makes no sense to be Andrew the Spider-Man in this universe, if there is a Spider-Man it will be with another actor
Andrew Garfield's Spiderman!
watching an overview of the Sony Spiderman Universe- "So they part ways with Sonny and Cher, their pet chickens."
I think sony should let their live action stuff be as creator driven as their animated stuff
If I were to put Spider-Man in this universe, I would cast Michael Angarano as Peter Parker.
You can't do Venom origin without Spider-man, simple. There's no development if you don't show him as a villain first, wich those movies never do, they never go all the way to show you they aren't anti-heroes
I want this sony universe to just do its own version of peter parker Spider-Man and have him fight venom, morbius and kraven I don't want Sony to use tobeys Spider-Man, andrews Spider-Man and toms Spider-Man
@@NadeemShekh-uy9zn Fair I think they will go that route
@@miadatenshi9903 fingers crossed
Who knew that Tom Hardy was so good at arguing with himself?
Venom vs MCU Spider-Man was a HUGE missed opportunity that still leaves a small sour taste for No way home forever.
SSU did you hear that it sound wrong
You know what my favourite part of the third film was
What's after the kraven movie? A Shocker movie?😂
The only person I know who watched Morbius in cinema is my mum, and she said it sucked, but she likes venom, and I'm with my mum on this one
Like Daniel Espinosa with Morbius, directing Kraven The Hunter will be a career suicide for JC Chandor
Morbius bighest crime was being boring
Marvel’s Spider-Man (2018) isn’t a movie game, but deserves a retrospective in its own right.
It's Morbin Time
The first Venom was a really good movie had an awesome Eminem song and I was genuinely excited for the second movie and then they ruined it
That animation is so Tim burton-esque, and it was great.
The game is Spider-Man Web of Shadows - Amazing Allies Edition. It was the PSP & PS2 version of Web of Shadows.
The game is Spider-Man Web of Shadows: Amazing Allies Edition.
I loved the credits on this one
1:15 Ncu featuring channel pup
The SSU's biggest crime is not having Spider-Man in their movies.
