im not sure what you mean by that, but if you want a flat material in depth, just press uhhh L2?? The button that makes materials less deep/on less layers. If you meant horizontal or vertical ones, you'd just need to resize the selected shape to be really small and drag it across, so you make a flat surface. Or you could cut out a flat material from a non flat one... I hope this made sense and that this is what you meant 🤧
