Thank you! Went through like 6 different videos but this was the only one that explained all of the steps correctly. Used it for Invasion and worked perfectly!
Chris thanks so much, such a great video very concise but not skipping over anything important. Exactly what I needed to start mixing my drums from scratch! Excited to mess around with this now, I have years worth of demos where I could only add effects to my whole kit lol.
A work around I found to get your kick on its own channel is to treat that first channel as a drum bus. Make one extra audio track than you did in the video, so your layout would be: Drum Bus, Kick, Snare, rack toms... ect.
Thank you. Now I'm still having trouble trying to figure out how to record guitars and add drums after the fact. And we have the same Midi keyboard so figured I would ask. I'm not new to recording but I am having a hard time with simply putting music together in any program, and it is starting to cost me more than i would like. I just would like to do guitar riffs, drums to follow. I need to know which vst just lets me program it. And then I can handle vocals. And key stuff. Big Ask please reply.
I'm having the same issue where all the audio comes thru the kick channel instead of the respective channels. Also I can't seem to get it to add notes to the existing midi track like you demonstrate, it just overwrites whatever i had recorded before. Any ideas?
Hi there! Kontakt is the name of his Midi Track. If you named your track with the Kontakt Plugin something else then that is track name you need to select for your "Audio From".

@@chrisbedan commented down below, but here ya go incase you miss it. I had this same issue, Just uploaded a video explaining how to fix it. Go into the ggd mixer. go to the bottom and where it says kick, open the drag down menu and change it form default to kick. Hi Chris, I've followed the instructions in this video and I want to set up a 28 stereo channel multi route out of Kontakt (I'm trying to route out every possible drum channel).
