Sorry, I have my PS4 jailbroken so I stopped the video too soon and went to the website.You can do this with a Luckfox Pico but it takes some extra setting up so I thought I'd grab one of these and take the easy route 😁 Thanks for the info. Anyway great video 👍🏾

@DNAMobileGaming I like this idea better then the esp32-s2 because number 1 it's not ugly and 2, it goes straight to Goldhen instead of possibly and most likely getting failures more the successes in loading the payload. Looks like good stuff!
That dongle for the ps4 just saved many consoles from absolute destruction from soldering “beginners”. I love stuff like this because the functionality will probably be increased with time. Keeps the ability to preserve our gaming even better great video!

@@DeadGhost307 To get into RCM mode you short some pins on the joy-con rails, which you could do with tinfoil or a paper clip. People made 3D-printed jigs with exposed metal in the right spots to do it more precisely later on. After the initial entry you can set up autorcm and just use a phone or PC to send a payload without needing the jig anymore.

Nah, that's for 11.00. If u have 9.00 do not update. On my 9.00 i use s2mini as offline web for goldhen. Works under 20sec. If u got pro on 11.00 u can use luckfox mini and solder it inside as perma mod.
This is called a tethered hack or tethered jailbreak. For those who don't know, this is not a reboot persistent hack, and has to be done if for example: you loose power. Still good
Isn't that better, in a way? You can have a chipped PlayStation while you want it but when you want it to be stock so you don't get in trouble online you just reboot.
LuckFox is a bit annoying to initially set up but it's pretty stable. Just done it and had mayve1 kernel panic in 10 boots. Main benefit is automation. I have two ps4's one on 9.0 and another on 5.05 and thinking of updating the 5.05 one to 9.0 and install internal LuckFox Mini B
Goldhen hack has been around for a few years now. This can be done on a raspberry pi zero for persistsnt use if shutdown. Or easier use the Kameleon usb hack does the same thing for free.

V9.00 has a hack I'm pretty sure however this is easier and can be left plugged in technically so if your device power down it'll re tether the jailbreak.

I'm pretty positive this is a pico inside as you can modify it to use the lower firmware. I haven't opened it yet, however it just works and looks professional.

It's good to see new hacks being developed for the PS4! My current setup uses a ESP8266 + USB Spoof hanging on the side of the PS4, I'm thinking on hiding it inside a PS4 USB Hub that connects to the front of the PS4 Slim for a cleaner setup.

It was about 2 months ago when I first heard from them as well, then out of nowhere I get an email "what is your phone number so we can ship this?" and here they are!

So I've been hoping that someone would create a version of the Luckfox that can be entirely hidden away at the rear of the Slim. This is it! Powering this by an adapter should ensure that you never have to see it. That to me is a lot better than soldering a Luckfox Pico internally. Great job to the dev team!

This looks amazing !! hack a PS4/Ps4 pro without having to install a mod chip / having to solder anything or even open up the PS4 at all, and all you have to do to remove it is power down your ps4 then start it up again and boom, it’s gone… I didn’t think the ps4 was hackable at all, ever… marvellous !!
Yup and it does work for the 4/Pro/Slim according to their website at least. I used it on the Slim as well and it works I just don't own a Pro to check and confirm.

Yeah I found out that if you connect to another network and leave it in, the P4 Tool bugs out the system so I just remove the usb cord. But if you always leave the network set to LAN then leaving it plugged in doesn't hurt and does push the payload quick 😄
I used to use the luckfox but went back to the PC because it's unstable and would crash often. Is this product faster to run ppoe than my current luckfox and Golden version 2.4b17.3m?

We live in a golden age. Being able to play homebrew, psp, and PS2 games with a dongle.
I have an old ps4 doing nothing but gathering dust, having one of these would be amazing, and give my old ps4 a new lease of life.
