To anyone criticising Alan Wilder, I say take a look, and listen to this album from which this awesome track came : Unsound Methods. His contribution to music was enormous, although he went largely unrecognised by the music industry - an absolute travesty. (Don’t people have eyes and ears!!). He remains, in my opinion, the greatest musician of the past 40 years, up there with the greats from other eras - Lonnie Liston Smith, Stanley Clarke and others. Open your eyes and ears and listen, people. A stunning and gifted musician, and a stunning looking man, a heart-throb, he was born to be a musician, although the music industry rejected him. He is still unrecognised, except by his legions of fans, of whom I am proud to be one. One day, Alan, we hope you will return. ❤xxxx
Alan is absolutely the best musician and a gorgeous man! !
Yes, I totally agree with you! ✨
Missing piece is an amazing track .
Alan never disappoint .
I agree, he’s awesome. Also, it’s like Alan was the missing piece of the music industry!
Exceptionally underrated track! Alan Wilder at his peak form. I'm delighted to have found it again.
I’m glad to read that. And yes, this track really deserves more recognition and most tracks of Recoil as well ✨
People thought thought or wanted to listen to depechemode with Alan's Recoil. They never forgave him for this non depeche sound. The new depeche generation don't know him at all.
So, we are the Elite!!
You’re right. Maybe that’s because most DM fans ain’t used to the difference between DM and Recoil’s sound, but I think they should have given Alan a chance to “convince” them with his music. But well, although he’s been underrated, for me, he’s a true genius! :)
I agree, rarely. Instrumentals DM of Alan's time, let's listen. Some people will learn about Ricoil thanks to me.
You should consider doing slowed+reverb versions of these
Ooh Alan, that's a very attractive photo of you, you look so good with your hair like that, but more importantly, the music - it's really good. Unsound Methods is a masterpiece, and all the singers on it are so charismatic, as Siobhan Lynch demonstrates on this track. But it has to be said - Doug McCarthy and Alan are such a fantastic combination!! You are the master musician, Alan, and Doug McCarthy is such a great singer!! He breathes fire (almost) singing Faith Healer. Bring him back again, will you Al!! (And thanks to Abril Peralta for this fantastic upload, it is really good. I like your uploads of these songs, very good indeed).
I agree with you, Unsound Methods is an amazing album, one of my fave ones from Recoil, btw. And yeah, those singers who collaborated with Alan did such a great job, their voices and Al’s music and production are a great combination. Then I’ll post more lyrics videos for his project, including the tracks with Douglas’ voice. 🎶 And thank you! Glad you liked it. ✨
@@aprilixpearYour versions of these uploads are amazing. You sound like you have been a fan of Alan Wilder's for years : I envy that. I have only just started listening to Recoil. I discovered Alan Wilder through a brief interest in Depeche Mode in 2016. His music is new to me, but I definitely like it. Soul/Jazz-Funk since I was a teenager / Classical music for 29 years / Alan Wilder's Recoil, June 2023 - that is me. I haven't listened to any modern music, except a bit of Soul, for years, until now. I definitely think that Douglas McCarthy is gifted musically, but I don't know Nitzer Ebb's music at all.
Thank you! Well, although I like how you think that about me, honestly I think I started being a super fan of Alan since early January of this year (but about DM, I’ve loved their music since 2011) 😅. So don’t worry, you’re not the only one who has started to be “drifting” in Recoil’s music nowadays 👀. But it’s nice to discover more variety of music genres, of course.
@@aprilixpear Absolutely, it is always good to discover new styles of music. 👍
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Gracias! ✨🙌🏼
Hola Abril ya escuché el tema, maravilloso gracias
Gracias a ti!
🥰👍❤👍🥰
Thank you! 💫
It was a non sence Alan left DM. He took wiht him all the best DM sounds!!!
Your work is beautiful and useful.✌️
I decided to read the words and stared into Adana's eyes for 5 minutes. The impression that he is staring intently into my eyes. Eyes are the mirror of the soul. I mentally ask: is there anything interesting there?
- yes.
There was about a time. I tuned in to the "excavation". Indeed, I found an interesting, missing part of myself.
Thank you both. 🫶🫶
