Or the Ebony Blade.
twotailedavenger Ah. Dragonsbane.

Its just a katana with a fancy guard
I want Dragonbane! And heathen, Dragonbane is the only enchanted weapon with a unique blade effect.
They should make the "nightingale blade" anyone who dual wielded in skyrim had that Dawnbreaker + Nightingale Blade combo
I did that 😍 both of these swords look amazing!! 👍
The dawnfang from oblivion would be dope

Same thought. Dawnbreaker is, imho, one of the best reasons to go with a one handed skill tree. To see them spend all that time making it so beautifully but still very inaccurately was a special sort of torture.

Assassin's creed - Odyssey sponsors video. Builds a Skyrim weapon.
Thats what i was thinking
still smart ubisoft moves, advertising on the most popular game weapon making

you guys should add a small graphic to the videos that says how much time each step took to complete. how many hours did grinding take? or forging? carving
I'd also love to see stats on how heavy it is, and how long it is exactly. Things like that.

+10 Smithing for putting the GoPro on the blade while sanding it for the first person perspective.
Best episode since the Viking Ulfberht
Next project ...
LOTR Elven Double Bladed Polearm
I have for years, been fascinated by metal work. I'm an artist myself, and I admit to playing a little Elder Scrolls. I first ran into professional smithing as part of a horse farm, but never saw any of the "shops" with their grinders and drop-hammers till years later. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't mind being a Smith, and doing things, even for my own enjoyment and satisfaction like what the Man at Arms crew does in these videos. Well Done!!
I often fail to appreciate Matt‘s grinding work as much as I should but this time he really stepped up and showed everyone what he can do. The sheer precision required to grind so straight so many times... I guess he really did awe me.
You know what really grinds my gears? Matt. Because I'd never trust another person with my grinding.

if duplication glitches aren't cannon in Bethesda's universes, I don't know what is.
can we just enjoy the humor in Ubisoft sponsering a video on a Bethesda weapon.
Lol, that's cuz Bethesda probably wanted 100% of this videos revenue 😂
I was resistant to Reforged at first (mostly because the focus was originally on weird fusion weapons), but looking back, I enjoy seeing actual forging techniques being used a lot more than than the cheap prop-making techniques used in the original series.
Dude lost me when he made an aluminum knife and that Captain America shield was laughable.
Tony made some awesome stuff, assassins creed 4 hidden blade and cutlass are one of my favorites, along with the meteor sword from avatar. But, I do agree the buster sword from FF7 was lame and an awkward build, and the Captain America shield was indeed laughable.
Yeah once they moved out of their weird weapons phase (everyone goes through it), it became a heck of a lot better. Though to be fair, making that scissor sword from kill la kill out of actual scissors was pretty neat.
Guys, I'm in tears right now. You deserve every subscriber you have.
It's freaking beautiful...
I would love to see you guys forging Wuuthrad from Skyrim
Yes!
This. Fav weapon from Skyrim imo
I love wuuthrad
Indeed, Man At Arms have created many swords, time for some polearms !
Hell yeah that’s my go to weapon!
Very nice sword... I want to see Corvo's folding sword from Dishonored next..
That would be dope
It would be nice but if they wanted to make the blade telescopic they'd have to keep to cutting through paper for the demo. An actual telescopic blade wouldn't be very strong.
Aaron A. Aaronson its not telescopic i dont think pretty sure it just folds
It looked telescopic to me but then again, the animation runs pretty fast so it could be either way. If it is folding then that'd be worse for a function accurate design.
If i recall from the schematics and the animation frame-by-frame, it is both a telescopic and folding blade.
Wow, I love how much effort they put into that.
Gorgeous. Absolutely stunning, you even got the length of the weapon perfect.
You should forge Wuuthrad!! The axe of Ysgramor of the Companions!
The designs on the axe head would be crazy
More like Volendrung
@@aerosomniac444 They'd probably just do overlays on a solid axe head, like with the Daedric axe.
Yes
@@aerosomniac444 I don't think they have the skill set or the time to actually do it. The one guy was bragging about how he spent a whole day, or ~8 hours on the fullers. big whoop imo, but it seems like they are set up for high volume rather than a few amazing pieces. I forget what the video was called, but it was about half an hour where one guy spent months making a beautiful black sword with gold inlays and it puts this dawnbreaker to shame
Now need only blessing from Meridia to enchant this sword!
