I just ordered up supplies for the Seasonal Saltbox SAL. I love Plum Street Samplers designs so was easy to jump on board this train! I ordered a Fat Quarter of Oaken thinking I will stitch the way you described with 2 x 4. Also I love the fabric you used on back of Fall into Autumn. Great colors. I watched all your Flosstubes this weekend. Thank you for sharing 1 strand a day. I am a seasonal stitcher but have a few WIPS that are for other seasons just sitting there but don't want to get too far behind on them. So I added a strand in each one yesterday and It felt good. I might not make it everyday but if I at least get a strand a week in I'll feel satisfied.

Such lovely finishes! Look up blind/ladder stitch for a slightly more difficult but much more invisible way to handstitch pillow openings. I use whipstitch when I know I am going to put on trim but I kinda like the magic of blind stitching. I’ll be following your March Madness 🍀🍀🍀🍀 Maybe I will join in next year. I’m still quite overwhelmed with the 10 plus years of neglected WIPs, though getting less so every month, so I am not participating this year. Love watching your FlossTube and adore hearing about your reading.
Thank you for the tips! I have actually tried ladder stitch but to be honest I am not very good at hand sewing and I get frustrated with it quickly, thus the whip stitch! Maybe I need to dedicate a little more time to learning some new techniques so I don't have to add trim to everything. 😊

My preference for 40 ct. is very strategic - it means I can use less thread and less fabric per project, which means I can purchase more projects 😂

I wish I did know but the room was this color when we moved in! It’s funny you say that because I kind of want to paint it, the previous owners painted every single room blue and I am over it 😂
