Trixy you are forgetting the five year that passed after the Thanos snap. Nakita got pregnant before leaving Wakkanda, after the first Black Panther but before the Thanos snap. She was in Haiti when the snap happened but didn't blip away so she had the baby while T'Challa was blip, this movies takes place after Endgame (5 years later) and one year after T'Challa's death so a total of over six years passed since the last Black Panther movie.
the "fish people" may have just appeared in the mcu, but namor is one of marvel's very first A-list characters (1939!). it took marvel almost 85 years to give him and his kingdom any live-action attention. props to the effects artists for making his tiny ankle-wing "air-skating" not look ridiculous. imperius rex!
You're confused about the timing because you forgot that T'Challa died twice, once in Infinity War and then before Black Panther 2 from an illness. T'Challa had a kid, then got dusted. He was brought back five years later and died again, so she was talking about T'Challa's first death, 6 years ago, not his most recent one, at that part of the story.
The cast carried the spirit of Chadwick Boseman throughout the film. Namor is first mutant created by Marvel. It’s the character that DC was inspired to create Aquaman

You're right that in-universe, En Sabah Nur is much older. He was born in the time of Egyptian pharaohs and is thousands of years old, while comic book Namor was born around 1920. But Namor is one of Marvel's very first characters, making his debut in 1939 when the company was still publishing under the Timely brand. He was called a mutant back in the 1960s comics. Apocalypse is a much newer character, making his first appearance in 1986.
Also while Apocalypse called himself the first mutant for many years, he's no longer officially the oldest in the Marvel universe. X-Force revealed that Selene dates back to the Hyborian age (Conan's timeframe), making her over twice as old as Apocalypse.

Black panther wakanda forever They put so much heart into this movie, RIP Chadwick Boseman🕊 They honoured his memory right throughout, they didn’t just mention him and move on they kept him in their minds right throughout.
The movie was amazing, it was touching, funny, full of action and even though it is nearly three hours long there is not one part of the movie that i feel they could have left out, it didn’t drag on and even though i just watched i feel like watching it again.
T'Challa was snapped away, but Nakia was never snapped away.
Nakia was pregnant before Infinity War, leaving Wakanda for Haiti when she saw that he'd been Snapped.
Baby in Haiti, roughly the 5 years for End Game and everyone returning from The Blip, with T'Challa having that year or so after coming back to be with his son. T'Challa eventually gets sick at some point, which prefaces the start of Wakanda Forever, where he passes away at the start of the movie, from where we are then moved forward a year.

The herb was only 98% match of the original heart-shaped herb, with the likely difference coming in the form of some of that healing factor from Talokan

It's been done many times in films and TV to re-cast characters with a different actor. It's been done in the MCU already more than once (Bruce Banner who?). In this case, the death of the actor Chadwick Boseman affected the character of T'Challah the Black Panther. They "could" have re-cast and continued the storyline with that character. But especially in light of what they did with this movie: honor the impact of, and loss of, the character and the actor; not shy away from the pain of death but explore that pain and move through it; watch the title- the mantle- of Black Panther be passed on to a next generation; build a female-lead cast showing strength, vulnerability, mistakes, lessons, all the complex things that a story should be... this film was great. A very worthy successor to the first Black Panther that was so well-acclaimed and beloved. This was absolutely the best choice.

Spoiler alert: When King T Chala mentioned they were going to share their resources he only meant their advancement in technology. The government going after the vibranium set up there need to be the number one superpower in the in the world. Which is why the CIA director of Valentina will form her own superhero team called thunderbolt oval theme by the current president Thaddeus thunderbolt Ross who will also become the Red Hulk while also setting up the government appropriation of adamantium from the body of the celestial tiamat whose hand is sticking out of the ocean and simultaneously setting up the introduction to the MCU wolverine. Shuri saying A.I can't turn on humanity is true and the only reason Ultron did was because of the Infinity Stone. Namor in the comic books was the first mutant and he was around long before Aquaman. Neymar out of the water strength wise is equal to Thor in the water heats equal to Hulk and has battle in one against him in comic books. Also ironheart is getting her own series to set up the armor Wars movie starring James Rhodes.
Namor is a Marvel character that goes back to the 60s. This character was serious. Aquaman did a transformation in the movies to be a badazz, but he was back up to the back up and soft as Cotton do some research. Namor was a problem.

Trixy, i wanted the mcu to recast the character of Tchalla, they recast the role of Rhoadey in Iron Man 2 and Hulk in the Incredible Hulk, he was played by another actor in the first movie, HULK (2003) i asked that they use John David Washington to play Tchalla

"It was trendy, so I ran away from it." OH NO! BLUE'S GONE HIPSTER! (just joking). Honestly, I'm glad they went forward with killing the character for the sake of integrity. Shuri eventually becomes Black Panther in the comics anyway, and it would have happened in the MCU eventually. This unfortunately sped up that process. Opening still gets me in the feels though.

I have a tough time with this movie, as many people do for various reasons. It attempted to do two entirely separate things, and I think it succeeded at one of them, and struggled with the other.
As a farewell to Chadwick Boseman it's excellent, a heartfelt tribute. While I would have preferred that they recast T'Challa and let the character live on in the MCU, his tragic passing was an unprecedented situation and they tried to make the best of it. I understand why Marvel Studios made the choice they did.
As a movie that continues and expands the story of Black Panther and Wakanda in the larger MCU, it's not very good. Ironheart was an unnecessary addtion to this storyline and doesn't really fit, she could have been introduced in a different movie. The changes to Namor were- interesting, but somewhat disrespectful considering he's the first of Marvel's comic book characters, first appearing way back in 1939 when the company was still known as Timely Comics.

This one of Marvel's best movies of all time. It was pretty emotional and wholesome because this was not only dedicated to Chadwick Bozeman as memory, but also because of the actors' performances, powerful messages and storylines. May Chadwick Boseman live on and rest in peace.

You're confused about the timeline???? what is wrong with you? Before he died he was blipped by Thanos for 5 years like the others remember. She explained that she could not be there for the memorial when he disappeared fearing there was no way to bring him back when she just gave birth to her son so clearly it was a secret, and then he came back after 5 years. However because Killmonger destroyed the entire crop of the Heart-Shaped Herb for the next Black Panther, he could not be saved from his illness... so it was too much for her to even handle. Do I have to spell it out for you? she clearly got pregnant with T'challa's son before Infinity War.

I'm very unforgiving with this movie. I get hate but I don't care. Personally I don't think this movie was ANY good whatsoever. They didn't honor Chadwick with this they insulted him. NO ACTOR is bigger than their role. Even IF an actor passes, the ROLE they were playing NEEDS to keep going. This movie was a cluster F*%K of vanity. They USED Chadwick's passing to gain the "sympathy" viewing. And it worked. NO ONE trashes this God-Awful movie BECAUSE Chadwick passed. His passing and this movie have NOTHING to do with each other. That's why even his own family had said that while they feel honored that they would salute him in the movie, T'Chala should not die. If they truly wanted to honor Chadwick, they'd have had an actor play T'Chala with all the heart he could muster. But Clearly MCU just needed an excuse to have Shu'ri become Black Panther.
Paul Walker also unfortunately passed and did Dom and the Family KILL OFF Brian??? Nope. Brian's character still exists. THAT is Honoring Paul Walker. Quietly and respectfully Write his character out by giving him a family of his own. THIS......T'Chala being dead just because and with NO actual explanation???? He's just dead because he's dead. it was a fumble for MCU and they then just KEPT fumbling; only now they are fumbling on purpose.
They're like those salty gamers who have no skill and yet still call themselves the best to ever play. they act like there is no one that can match them and when they get utterly thrashed they blame the controller, or the music in the background, or they weren't ready and you took advantage of them, or you were playing like trash and just spamming the same move over and over. NOTHING is ever THEIR responsibility for their own poor performance.
To be clear I loved Chadwick Boseman as T'Chala. He brought a dignity and pride to the role. BUT. Black Panther is BIGGER than him. T'Chala deserves better than to just BE dead off screen. That's NOT honoring anything.

i think this movie was necessary for everyone to grieve Chadwick, and i think it’s necessary for the character of The Black Panther to move beyond Chadwick to stay relevant for future generations.
There are many Supermans and Batmans… there should be many Black Panthers too. 🫡❤️
