The genuine love & appreciation is awesome. Not everyone's reunion is so fortunate. My mom was adopted & found both sides of her family in 2009 around the same time a year after her adoptive mom passed & we encourage d her to do a search. Gratefully, by God's grace, both sides embraced us with open arms. Not as much tears but nonetheless, grateful to be united with family we never knew to find out how much we resemble & how much we have in common; & be accepted. For those who don't get that, my heart goes out to you. And although I don't know you personally, I love you 💙

Wow!!! This is the greatest reunion of all to have the three siblings meeting up together for the first after years of being apart. It brings joy and tears to strangers like us to see their happy reunion even though we may not know them in person. Bless them graciously that they may able to meet up again more often to bond and share many more happy, loving and joyous moments together in the future. We also pray and hope that all those out there who are also trying hard to search and look out for their long lost loved ones that they too will be able to feel and experience the enjoy and happiness of these unforgettable moments when they finally get to locate and reunite with their long lost family members. Stay positive and don’t give up in your dreams.
I've always been a sucker for this kind of stuff. Beyond happy to have come across Relative Race! I'm in shock he's older than 46! Congratulations on you all finding and having each other. What a Blessing!
Man has a CALCULATOR WATCH YES!!!!! Thank you for sharing. I'm adopted and idk how I'd feel about meeting all these people but I've always wanted to know what my biological father looked like. I'm 30, now, and I've met my biological mother once -- totally chance encounter when I was 20. She knew who I was instantly but I didn't know (I was at work at Metro PCS selling phones), and then as soon as she laughed, I saw my own face smiling at me and was so freaked out. I knew immediately and I texted my actual mom and I guess the older lady that my biological mother walked in with was actually her mother, who also realized, and had texted my mom before I did, so I was the only one at this point who didn't know 😂 -- the woman who gave birth to me is also adopted, ironically enough, so I met a weird version of a grandmother, too. So my mom shows up about ten minutes later to make sure I'm okay, which I was, so I went outside and chatted with my biological mother for a few minutes, showed my deepest gratitude for the selflessness and the life she'd allowed me, and wished her love and all the best. Ended in a hug. I'm glad it happened but I very truthfully never was going to seek her out. I love my family, my older sister (also adopted at birth like me but from different people), my parents... I've heard that I have around 9 biological siblings -- whether full or half -- but I honestly don't know and don't care. People have called me cold and callous but they definitely don't know I exist, I only know that they exist and that's it, and I have all the family that I need. Interesting to be able to share this here. Thanks again.

I love this for him. My sister, brother and I have been estranged from each our father most of our lives. We were all grown with small children of our own. At 1 time we did have some sort of relationship, he decided to have 2 more children. What those 2 children were born they were not even or barely 1 yrs apart. My dad and their mom separate. his mother raised him as a single mother, but she died in an auto accident when he was 4 - she had never told his father about him, or so the father said, he chose his words very carefully on this subject. They were never husband and wife. After his mother's death, he was raised as an only child by a maternal aunt and uncle. He met his father for the first time only while participating on this show and that led to meeting these 2 sisters (the father's daughters from a prior marriage) and another younger sister (the father's daughter from a late in life marriage). I believe there are six siblings altogether, but not all appeared on this show. The father was quite elderly when they met and spoke of a current cancer battle. He died less than a year after the meeting at age 78. It was a touching story line. Unfortunately (for we viewers) it is not a straight telling of the story, but wrapped up in some awful reality show where they make teams of people searching for their families compete with each other in challenges and run sort of a scavenger hunt for clues. Does that read as horrible? well, it's worse to watch. These kinds of stories deserve more dignity, but that's the reality show world in which we live today.

Just because you are blood-related to someone that you have never seen in the first decades of your entire life, should not necessarily bring people closer together than if they were NOT blood-related. If I would have a brother that I don't know of, and if I would meet him and if I were told that this is my brother, then I would not really react different than if I would any other stranger.
