Omg, I grew up with Heidi. I lived next door to her. My mother still lives there and Heidi lives 3 houses down now. Im so happy Heidi, that you were able to reunite with your daughter.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I have a friend who was adopted from cali too, who is a spitting image of Heidi, she was a twin, her twin passed away. I wonder if Heidi has any sisters or cousins that were placed for adoption.
💙💛❤️🩶🩵💙💜🤍💙
@stephaniemair2869 there are five children. As far as I know, no one was ever put up for adoption. I met them in 1970 when we moved next door and there was the 5
I wasn't planning on bawling my eyes out today, yet here I am blubbering like a baby. 😭❤
I really tried not to cry. But I did... big time!
The daughter is SOBemotionally mature. She wasn’t resentful at all and it honestly seemed like she was doing this less because she needed it and more because she knew her bio-mom REALLY needed it, and I think that’s really sweet of her.
Started crying the minute they hugged. I know exactly how that mother feels. I gave a son up at age 16 . I was raped but my mother said she didn’t want a bastard child n our home. My stepdad did. That was n 1969 & I am 68 today. He’s 51 now. Never have saw him. I’ll go to my grave without him knowing how & why. I’m so happy for all 3 of them. The kids were thrilled. Many happy years for them. The daughter looks like her & so does her grandchildren. Beautiful.
God bless you! You did a loving and unselfish thing. I can't even imagine what you have gone through. God bless you.
Bless you ❤
I wont say things like "God bless you" for you are an angel. Rather I ask you to give us the strength, the fortitude you showed, show us the light that this decaying earth badly needs. Show us the courage. ☺️🤗
do an ancestry DNA kit, found my 55-year-old brother last year. That's the best bet. It's worth it
Please tell me it's not what I think it is.
I LOVE HOW KIND EVEN THE KIDS WERE! She made the right/best decision she could. The outcome was a true blessing! May God continue to bless them all!!!
The decision was made by her parents. Fortunately it turned our ok except for the pain of biological mother.
Wonderful
These allergies are a sumbich!
That is what really rooted love is all about God bless all 🙏
I can't get over how polite her kids are! Love to see it!
Hello Kelly
How are you doing? Hope you and your family are safe
Hahaha I was about to write the same 😊 beautiful kids
Very well mannered!
“I don’t really remember my parents sitting me down and telling me I’m adopted I grew up always kinda knowing”
Best way to handle adoption with a child.
People always ask me when I was told I was adopted and I say the same thing. I can’t remember them telling me I just always knew
We celebrate our kids gotcha day every single year !!! We make it such a big deal because its so special
This is true for me
I am adopted and personally could not disagree with you more. I was told I was adopted at a young age (old enough to understand what it meant) and it made me feel special and not the outcast or to feel like "I just know I'm adopted because I am different or am treated differently or just don't feel the connection"
This is so incredibly insensitive to presume this is the best way for every adopted child.
I agree
As an adopted kid who’s found her parents I’m happy for these people. My meeting was nothing like this. No one cried while hugging me. It was super awkward at first. I also look nothing like her. Or the guy she named as my father. He wasn’t. She lied so much about this that I had to go through AncestryDNA and 23andMe to find him. He’s incredible. We were supposed to meet but covid derailed the trip for now. My bio mother is furious with me over wanting to know who he was. That’s on her.
It’s so sad what young parents had to do back in the day. They gave up a piece of there heart & soul and to be able to fill that empty horrible feeling of loss. This made my heart so happy I cried all the way
We adopted my little sister but we also told her that she's adopted and she knows who her parents are the only thing I can say is it was a blessing I love her so much
They are so similar. Big respect to her parents for raising her with a healthy view of adoption. She is one of the few who seems to really be at peace. My parents also raised me with a healthy view of adoption but peace is fleeting. It comes and goes. I think that it has alot to do with noticing similarities between my son and myself and wondering where it came from.
Omg the mother made me cry! She was so genuine and the hurt was all over her face...really the love was all over her face!!
Yes you could tell she had a sweet spirit and kind heart. I cried when she said she didn’t have children and a husband. I feel it was because of the heartbreak of her daughter and Greg the father ❤️
This is just beautiful. A young mom that truly did not have a choice because of her own parents had to give up the one thing she carried for 9months and searched for her every day after knowing her heart belonged with her precious beautiful babygirl. This is amazing and remarkable to reunite this precious family.
Great, now I’m crying 🙄 this is sweet
You and me both x
Me too
Me to😭🙏❤️🤗🍀
Same
With yah there haha they really know how to make a person cry I the last minute
As an adoptive mother, this story was beautiful to see. I am so happy for them all❤️
Daughter's emotional inteligence, compation, and maturity is amazing.
Each one of them seem so kind.... wonderful to see them united.
"I will definitely incorporate her into our life moving forward". This is so ironic in a good way. In the end she kind of ended up adopting her in a sense.
I will never get tired of seeing wonderful stories
She must have felt so empty all those years. I couldn’t imagine what it would have been like being told to give your baby up. Bless her heart. I’m so glad they found each other.
Hello clare
How are you doing? Hope you and your family are safe
All safe and well thanks.
@@clare00411 glad you're okay. I'm really depressed right now. Lost a coworker. I'm really looking forward in meeting people and making new friends. I find you quite fascinating to me and would like to know more about you if you would permit that. Can I have your Email so we can text on Google Hangout?
I wasn't worth a hill of beans after she finally embraced her daughter. The raw emotions and sincerity of it all.💕
Love when the universe comes together like this. Cherish your family everyone
The kind of birth mother all adopted children want ❤️
Hello Alicia
How are you doing? Hope you and your family are safe
@@davidconnor4610 well hello sir, 😁 yes we are all well thanks for asking. And I hope you and yours are all safe as well. I don't live in the city anymore so life isn't so different, besides not knowing who's standing next to you in the line up at grocery store 😜😁

My mom gave my sister up in 1994. it still hurts her because she didnt have a choice. weve been trying to find her since 2015, still no luck, but hopefully soon she can meet her
with DNA testing being done as it is now, it is just a matter of time. Don't give up, just keep checking your inbox.
Just checking to see if y’all have found her
Oh, how this story pulls on the heart strings 🥺 my sister also fell pregnant at a young age. Our parents were incredible. They invited my sister to move back home and never even entertained the thought of the child being giving up for adoption. Instead, she was welcomed as the loved family member she was. Then my mum cared for her when my sister was ready to go back to work. I can't imagine how a young woman would cope with being forced to give up their baby 💔
This just warms heart! And the grandkids were so excited to meet her. Definitely an amazing experience for all!
Hello Debbie
How are you doing? Hope you and your family are safe
Hi mummy Debbie praise God hope you are doing well and I call you upon to stand with our music school foundation.
The go-between has a heart for this calling. The mother reunited with her daughter and the daughter of the daughter reunited with her mother share a resemblance that is hard to miss, bless them all
I loved watching this and I love how the daughter was there with open arms for her bio mom. It was just beautiful to watch.
I am crying like a baby-- such authentic emotions
Even her grandchildren immediately took to her wow ❤️
I couldn’t stop crying ♥️🥺☹️ what a beautiful family!
I am a battled harden vet fought in two different wars . Very senior now this story had me in tears . I truly hope they a good relationship. May the good lord lay his hand on both their shoulders.
My sister had her first of 2 daughters in 1977 when she was 16 1/2. She wanted to keep Melissa but my mother didn't want her to. My dad asked what my sister wanted and that he would support her in that decision. The bio dad was a good man and stepped up to be the father of his daughter. Unfortunately he died in a car accident less than a year later on his way home from his second job. I was only 11 when my niece was born but I did what ever I could to help my sister. Melissa become more of a little sister than my niece. I'm 55 now and Melissa is 44 and to this day she calls me Darren no Uncle Darren.
Beautiful made me cry I’m so happy for mom & daughter and the grandkids ❤️
Very compassionate and empathetic women.
I cried as soon as she and her grand children hugged. I wish them all the best!
Hello Paula
How are you doing? Hope you and your family are safe
So cute they are dressed so similar!!!!! Just different fall colors but both even tie out waist!!!!
that "I've never forgotten about you" hit me like a fuckin freight train.
This hurts my throat 🙈❤ God bless us all. Thanks for sharing
That little girl has her grandma’s smile :)
Helloo
How are you doing? Hope you and your family are safe
Absolutely beautiful! Now I'M crying. People TRULY have no idea how much LOVE it takes for one to be unselfish, and let go, so that they can give their child a better life... it is the hardest thing you could ever imagine going through, and the most unselfish and loving act to do so, especially as a youth! God bless this birth mother for her loving and unselfish act which she did regardless of her own feelings! God bless this whole family. May many years of happiness be before all of them!
This is beautiful, You both look so much alike. I hope you do have a great relationship for many years to come.

This was very Emotional, I had tears in my eyes , Blessings to this Family , Hiedi's heart has been filled. Beautiful Family,,
That was So beautiful.........love it.........always stay that happy
Hope all the parents can have a great relationship. Can't imagine how scary it is for the adoptive parents too.
Wow - you can definitely tell they're mother & daughter - they're the spitting image of each other !
Here in the UK, I record every programme about Long Lost Family , everytime I watch it brings tears to my eyes. It's nice to find out that you really belong to someone, i.e. be it Mother or Father.
What a beautiful family. They are finally together again.
I was adopted myself when I was 2months old. Never met any biological family but always want to. Love this show.
Such a wonderful & beautiful family ...I'm so happy for them that they were able to reunite with each other & including her in their lifes now so the kids can be blessed with such wonderful grandmother who loves them & wants to be there for them after all those years that she wasn't able to do that
The daughter is such a well adjusted and extremely giving person. Obviously adoption was sad but the right choice. The fact that the adoptive parents were open about her being adopted and raised her well and emotionally healthy, she went on to be a mother and a surrogate also, she is a very special woman. She will help her biological mother heal from the hurt and the grandchildren have another grandmother to love them. Best story ever ❤❤ Thanks for sharing.
Wow She is a woman with a beautiful selfless soul.
I love her reaction to meeting her grandkids
Is there an update to this story? What a special moment for her meeting her daughter and grandchildren for the first time. You can tell she loved her from the moment she had her, but times were different back then. Pretty sad how her parents made the choice for her, but I'm hoping she is still apart of there life's so awesome seeing things like this.
I’m crying and can’t see what I’m typing! Oh my gosh, this was magical!🥰🥰🥰
Hello Shannon
How are you doing? Hope you and your family are safe
Awww, such a gracious and lovely young lady ...❤

Hope an opportunity comes along to find your parents ❤
@@esterherschkovich6499 thank you
I pray U will find Ur parents it will be a wonderful day for U
I feel the same but in Vietnam too.
there are sometimes tv shows that help people find family members
I love this story...what a wonderful day..!!
Wonderful segment. Very happy for the mother, daughter and grandchildren. Really made my day. Happy new year.
Oh, how lovely it is the meeting of mother and daughter, I'm crying ...they are so polite and the grandkids too. Adopted or not bio parents or whatever bonded with DNA or by heart...this is just so adorable. My heart felt so happy for them too.
I learned after my father’s death that he was adopted. He never talked about it however I always felt a disconnection with the adopted family and they treated him poorly as well. I’ve been on a journey to contact his biological family but so far no luck. Also there were two other children adopted too. Frustrating but I’m going to complete this journey for my father.
Has anyone else noticed how they have the same type of shirt on? I’ve watched this so many times and am just noticing this. DNA is an amazing thing!
Her daughter is beautiful! 💜
Very emotional moments and was good to hear that they will have an ongoing relationship. I found and met my mother when I was 28 years old, wasn't adopted but lived with my father. They separated when I was 3 years old. Unfortunately my mother died suddenly about a year or so after I met her.
Bless you
What a beautiful family, all of them!
When I say I cried through this whole video😭😭😭😭😭
Hello krystal

Hello Bethany
How are you doing? Hope you and your family are safe
4:13 the bear! 😳
It has a rattle in it's tummy- I got my oldest daughter that exact bear before her birth in 1984, and she loved it so much it fell apart and I had to hunt a replacement used one up when she was 5 and in hospital.
I just lost it when she said it was from her birth mama 😿😞
I never got to meet my father. He passed 4 yrs ago, and I found out last year at 48 yrs old
Hello Lisa
How are you doing? Hope you and your family are safe
I hope they are bringing this show back. I love it
Me; Jessica Marie, just watching this video, minding my own business then 4:34
This is beyond beautiful. I never cry, but I’m crying now

Dang onions!. Haha. How precious was that?!

Hello Judy
How are you doing? Hope you and your family are safe
A mother's love is inherited ,The people who talked these young ladies into giving up there children ,Love is stronger than any thing they had to say ,
I love how they both say “Oh my goodness!!!”
Couldn't keep the tears back. So happy for them.
Her daughter is gorgious same age as me im in 💘such happy story i literally balled my eyes out
Imagine if she had been allowed to keep the child, and the father of the child had something to live for so he didn't fall in with the wrong crowd, and this nightmare could've been stopped before it started
Oh boy. These tears. Good God Almighty.
Some kids are taken away from their birth parents because of circumstances that are out of their control and its absolutely sad but being able to meet your birth parents is a great opportunity to get to know them
Sooo happy they got to meet.
im absolutely bawling omg like actual streams of tears, i love my mum ❤️
Definitely a bitter sweet moment ❤
I'm always glad and relieved when it's the parent searching because I get so scared when it's the child searching for the parent of how the parent May react and may reject the child.
I let my husband adopt my daughter at the age of 8 after she asked me how come her last name was different than ours. But, from the age of 5 I had always told her that she had two fathers and I would answer all her questions she ever had about the one father she never met. Her bio father died when she was 12 and she never got to meet him. So I can relate to this story.
I would love to get your help trying to find my biological father I got close one time I found his ex wife but from there everything came to a hault Im 27 a cancer survivor and just want to know who my father is and if his side of the family had cancer No one on my mother’s side got it only me.
Aww I hope you find your father, good luck!
Yeah
I can be of help to you ..
@
Arie Owens. Have you thought of doing DNA tests? Maybe he's already in one of the registries.
Keep trying, I found a biological brother that I had never met last year and I’m 60 he is 66. I done the usual DNA test and then 2 years later his kids bought him a kit for his birthday. And the rest is history!!!! As you probably know there are more than one registry so you might have to do a couple, expensive but rewarding!!!
At least, there is something positive with the world that I have to keep striving. Love is the ANSWER. thanks to the daughter for understanding the situation and accepted mum. 🥰
I hope their relationship is forever 😭😭❤️
I can sense that there’s a lot is apprehension and hurt in the daughters heart still. A feeling of why now and kinda what’s the point? And rightfully so. But looks like she opens up a lot at the end ❤️
Yes I felt that too! When she said “ Awww” it wasn’t a heartfelt aww it was like a kind gesture awww. I hope she did come around. Poor Heidi didn’t want to give her up.
Guys, you need to remember they likely filmed these events after the fact. They were doing reenactments.
Yes she is gorgeous 🥰
That daughter is so frigin cool!!
she's beautiful and well organised. I love her
I will watch this every single time I see it while scrolling. So wholesome
When the kids came in ,,, I knew it was gunna blow up XX
I'm glad that the daughter doesn't have any I'll will against her birth mother and wants her in her family's lives
I'd like to see a programme that explores the feelings of those involved. For example how do adopted children feel when they learn that the people raising them are not their biological parents? That could be very difficult for some children to deal with, followed by wondering about the identity of their biological parents.
I just think it’s so cool they meet for the first time and look at their shirts in their pants and their hair almost identical except for a few different colors even the ties on the shirt so the same
